Things are finally starting but I will wait for a couple of games to judge the current form before betting big. For today I opted for a couple of surprises. Basically just that every underdog gets at least a map.
LBZS +1.5 - not looking good for me after they threw first map from about +35k money and total control
LGD +1.5
Viking.gg +1.5 - this one I have for quite high stake actually since I belive they can even take the series with a bit of luck
Magma +1.5

Finally some big tournament, missed it very much! Today going for:

Astralis vs EG and G2 vs Furia - MY COMBO BET

Doing combo for Astralis and G2 to multiply the odds since both teams are heavy favorites, hoping for rather safe win. Normally would probably bet on furia in second matchup but today they will play with new player straight from academy (honda) so it's kinda hard to predict how team will perform with that addition to their roster, G2 seems to be more stable, GL!

Starting with LPL for now as I really like FPX to win 2-0 against RW @1.55 I know they lost to EDG on their previous match but RW lost 2-0 to eStar last week and recently they've swapped out their ADC from their academy team.

The pre live odds on the Blast matches is so one sided I feel like every match have a good chance at going over 2.5 but at the same time I don't have the guts to take it since Astralis and G2 could show up at any time.

You're right there's nothing wrong in using smurf accounts so it's most likely that they're the Newbee players and the organizers caught them using a vpn or they told the truth.

Before the ban was annouced publicly some pro players already noticed it but didn't call them out(thread).
Yooooo that's definitely a controversy apocalypse imminent, this fake team scandal will definitely be on Valve's watch. Pro players do not have the right to call out because they are not the authority, maybe pointing out who are the offender will be good enough, investigations should be done on this because this is a big scandal especially for SEA region.

What is the story behind this account sharing, I am pretty sure there is no rules about that, smurfing is bad but they are on a tournament so it does not affect their performance if they switch account. If this is Team Newbee though, this will be problematic for tournament organizers because they will have to raise their standards and create a new regulation regarding the banning matter, too bad Newbee got booted out indefinitely, I don't get why they do those 322 games, they have a lot of money but why stoop that low.

Another SEA news, In Lower Division. Team Assault was disqualified because they're sharing their account during this tournament. And having that said, no confirmation from Valve if they're Team Newbee but I just read some people saying that it's the smurf accounts of Team Newbee which was already banned from Valve events.

yikes! TSM with a pathetic game against 100T last night, not the debut i expected from SwordArt, plus i also lost my ML ticket cos of that, but i managed to recover thx to Hanwha - DRX going to game 3 today

also Perkz with a terrible debut with Cloud 9...i think i'm gonna skip the LCS this weekend, top teams seem to be a bit rusty after the break  Cheesy

The odds aren't that great for FPX to win the series @1.38 but i'm still taking it over the handicap since the LPL is too unpredictable. FPX 2-0'd OMG while EDG dropped one against OMG last week.
EDG are up 1-0 but both teams are putting up a good fight in game 2
i'm gonna be very suprised if this ends up 2-0 for them. Btw,  +1.5 handicap for FPX @3 live odds, not gonna fall for it tho, looks like a trap lol Fuck! 🤣

@Trofo  nice win on EGD handicap 👍

Once that hits my next bet is Gambit -1.5 @1.54 as they'll take on Sinners in the Vulkan grand finals. Gambit haven't dropped a map so far while Sinners nearly lost to HR in the semis.

I was planning to parlay both then switched to singles since I want to safely clear the rollover on my deposit.
I am also on Gambit -1.5, I have been forcing this bet on Gambit whole tournament and they delivered every time. Expect them to continue doing the same.

I actually took EDG to take one map, looking at their H2H this should pass easy, but I don't have a clue about LOL and this was taken based on those past H2H.

I've been betting on CS games for a while, more active in the past but Im subbed to many groups most of which are long since dormant from the days of big skin bets.  Somehow one of them popped up today with a bet after what looks like a year since the last post.    Might be worth checking back if they come active again, they made a pretty yolo call for domination on the first map with Gambit.   I guess a fair call  Hobbit major winner and all that but I wouldnt know to be that specific but anyhow something of interest.

Also good news there will be a CS major happening, run by PGL but not until the Autumn.   My guess is it does go ahead as other games have managed to do so.

yo, Faker was benched in T1's debut..the hell? i mean, they're stomping Hanwha at the time of writing so it's not like they're missing him, but still ):

I think, that they are having closer to play more on the competitive scene. They are nurturing him to be a great midlaner by having him experienced more of the tournaments. He is a really great player, basing on his streams and plays with alkali and irelia. Faker, on the other hand, is already nurtured, and well known as the best mid laner, LoL community has ever seen.

Side note, SKT fans are really something else. The moment they didn't see faker plays for the team, they already start to bash the whole management for that action.  Embarrassed
It is because T1 (SKT) have a lot of immature fans, trust me because I know a lot of them. They're always get angry when faker isn't playing on the team. Faker already knows a lot in competitive scene because he's full of experience and already won championship but the fans should also know that T1 need to develop the substitute on a real match. People are too much, they're not even benefiting on those, yet still angry when being opposed.

Faker being benched/cut/kicked/removed from the team will really spark a lot of fans hating them BUT its still the managements decision because they will decide on what is better for their team. Its quite true that some fans are just Faker fans and not the whole T1 squad and that is just sad considering Faker such a team player.

Another good thing or move is for Faker to create another team or be moved into another team because Faker is almost what comes up in everybody's mind when they hear T1.
Faker won't move nor create another team, as he is already one of the board directors in SK TELECOM, he is one of the people who we can call as the "BOSS who Plays".

So I'm guessing that they are preparing for faker's retirement by making him disappear from the competitive scene, little by little as he is already old and have his own source of income. This will result to less tragedy and loss of hope for future T1 competitive players.
