OK guys, I never come in here but there's a new 5 BTC free competition at FortuneJack so I want your opinions. I already put in my predictions, heavily backing the home team (there is a home team right haha).

It's called CS:GO dreamhack. And I guess you can sell the skins if you win them: https://beta.fortunejack.com/promotions/cs-go-dreamhack
There's no home team or favorites in CSGO since it's played online. Cheesy I don't know the veto phase in dreamhack but on other tournaments it's usually the team on the right side that bans and picks their first map. Sometimes the first pick and ban priority goes to the team with the lower rank or it could be done with a coinflip depending on the rules.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/gk5ih4/newbee_banned_from_participating_imbatv_events/

"There has been much speculation about various teams the Chinese tournaments fixing matches, and Newbee's success as an organization has dropped significantly since early 2018. Sources have said that the match fixing has been going on since the departure of Sccc, and Fenrir, with the organization losing swiftly in some Tier 3 events in the playoff stages. With everything returning back to the online tournament environment, the spread of match fixing continues to be a rampant issue within the Tier 2/3 Dota 2 scene."
Dang, one big news in Chinese doto.

The glory days for Newbee was already done. I don't also understand why they've become a weak despite being one of the best in the world. This will be very hard for them once Valve steps in and gives them another hammer.

What if Sccc and Fenrir have already smelled this before that's why left?
Avengerls have a huge lead but instantly lose the fight to Newbee, how is that possible?

I guess they already knew about it 'cause if they're really pro players, definitely it will hurt their pride since they're always doing their best for the team but realizes that there's a match-fixing happening. After that, newbee was banned but why Avengerls is not banned?

There's a thread about the existence of match-fixing these modern tournaments and this news is the answer to that.

[CS:GO] My picks and bets for some today's ESL One: Road to Rio matches:

Vitality - G2: Vitality ML, 1.73 @ MY BETSLIP
FaZe - Astralis: FaZe +1.5, 1.57 @ MY BETSLIP

Vitality beat today’s opponent last time but it was over a year ago and these organizations are in a very different place right now. The favorites seem to rely on ZywOo a lot more and mounting a good collective effort has been an issue. However, they did that against NiP, and with the way G2 struggled in their tie against lowly Heretics, I’m inclined to back Vitality to clinch another win. It will be tight, of course, but ZywOo and his guys will be confident they can deliver in the clutch after winning two overtime rounds against the Ninjas.

Astralis has been pretty good! They are on a six-match winning spree, which isn’t half bad either. Truth be told, Astralis played against slightly tougher opponents than Faze Clan, but that’s only my subjective opinion, I guess. The real question is – if Astralis can finally reach another grand final of a notable event. The last time they reached the final stage of an event was back in December 2019 when they won BLAST Pro Series Global Final. Since then, two of their campaigns ended with semifinal elimination. Seeing as this is somewhat of an equivalent of a semifinal match (with an extra chance AKA the LB finals), could Astralis’ curse hit again. For this matchup, betting on both ends seems quite risky. The bookies are aware of that too, but they’re still placing Astralis as the favorite. Well, the value is in my dearest special – total maps over 2.5 or handicap FaZe.

risked for HellRaisers for game 1.
HellRaisers started this OG tournament very badly, both their draft and gameplay are bad.

By the way, there is surprising not really surprising news from China: Newbee has just been banned in every Chinese Dota 2 Tournament because of Match Fixing.

You got any thoughts on FaZe Clan vs Astralis ? I think FaZe are somewhat over valued 2.6+ odds.

I'm looking to put a few bucks on them, what do you think ? Worth it ?

I have been meaning to ask something.

What does it mean when they say one player tipped another? are they transferring gold? or are they tipping cash outside the game or what?

They are tipping points, battle pass points to be specific. They need those points for their battle pass to level up.

✅HellRaisers - FTM: FTM, 2.24
✅Alliance - ViKinGG: ViKinGG 1.5, 1.73
✅NiP - Virtus Pro: NiP 1.5, 1.54
✅Liquid - Spirit: Team Liquid -1.5, 2.08

I should have just copied outright all of your predictions. You've done a perfect job this time! Congrats!

I opted to bet per game, risked for HellRaisers for game 1.

Keep up the good picks rand that FlytoMoon pick was so good I thought the series would go to a third after a close first game but they abused their power spikes perfectly on the next and forced HR to call the game very early.

The games today might be a little risky as there's a new charity tournament and the upset potential could be higher after what happened on the last charity tournament hosted by weplay.

That's how we do it boys. Finally, we are again on a win streak! 4/4 @ Dota 2

✅HellRaisers - FTM: FTM, 2.24
✅Alliance - ViKinGG: ViKinGG 1.5, 1.73
✅NiP - Virtus Pro: NiP 1.5, 1.54
✅Liquid - Spirit: Team Liquid -1.5, 2.08

Big profits today!

Nice one mate, I did really well today as well. Took your FTM pick and safer Liquid pick as ML and added Winstrike ML + Heretics ML(their first game today, odds 1.45 BO1). All on same ticket for high stake.

I really like that you started posting the picks day before actual games. That way I manage to see them before playing my ticket. I usually play my ticket first thing in the morning while getting fully awake. Gambling adrenaline is my substitute for coffee Smiley

[CS:GO] My picks for today:

Espada - NaVi Junior: MY PREDICTION

Espada is going to face NAVI Junior in the match of SECTOR: MOSTBET Season 3 on 14th of May 2020. Espada are ranked 44, while NAVI Junior have a rank of 85. Espada are considered heavy favourites by the bookmakers. NAVI Junior is worse ranked (#85), they have won their last game against LDLC, and have 3 victories in last five matches played. Espada best maps are Train and Dust2, with 75% and 67% win rate respectively. Their first pick in 45% of the cases is Dust2, leaving Vertigo as a first ban (70%). NAVI Junior favours Dust2 as their first pick with 46%. In 85% of times they ban Nuke. Espada have a win rate of 67% on Dust2, while their worst map is Vertigo with a win percentage of 0. NAVI Junior are at their best on Train — a win rate of 100%. However, they really struggle at Nuke with a success of just 0. NAVI Junior usually win 9.88 rounds in their losses on average. Patsi is arguably the best player in Espada at the moment with 0.68 kills per round and an impact of 1.06. His KAST is 70.5%, and he is showing a Rating 2.0 of 1.07. His most dangerous rival in NAVI Junior is B1T. He provides 0.72 kills per round on average, has an IMPACT of 1.23, and Rating 2.0 of 1.15. I believe Espada will win if everything goes according to their plans. But i think NaVi junior can surprise us with a map. Odds on their handicap are higher then on Espada ML.

Heretics - G2: MY PREDICTION

Coming into this match, G2 is the obvious favourite here. Anything other than that, with the likes of KennyS, Nexa, and huNter, would be pretty shocking. However, they shouldn’t underestimate their opponents here. Heretics packs quite the punch in terms of experience and talent. KioShiMa and Lucky are still going strong, but Maka is the one delivering the main fragging potential with outright ridiculous numbers. Against North, the 22-year-old Frenchmen had 61 kills across two maps, and 1.63 HLTV score. If that’s not ridiculous, then I don’t know what is… Unfortunately, a big part of Heretics’ surprising win against North comes down to the fact jumpy had to replace kjaerbye. I’m not trying to belittle Maka’s excellent gameplay, I’m just saying that he wouldn’t get the chance to snowball that much if kjaerbye was on the server. As far as our G2 vs. Heretics predictions are concerned, there’s really no need to overcomplicate things. KennyS is in fine form, and the rest of his teammates are rock solid too. They shouldn’t have any absentees today, and despite the fact we’re looking at an online match here, G2 should cruise to victory. G2 are the heavy favorites here, and there’s no way Heretics mess up their plans… not even if we see another brilliant performance by Maka. Heretics defeated Dignitas, ENCE, and Complexity, but in my books that’s just not enough to be a potent opponent against G2. True, one of the best French teams had its ups and downs on this event, but with KennyS showing off superb form in the last few matches, there’s little kioShiMa and the boys will be able to do today. However, odds on G2 ML are pretty low, and I do believe Heretics showed us that they can win vs big teams, hopefully they can take a map here, im positive about that.

GL!

The odds are slowly shifting towards the side of FlyToMoon currently they're currently at 2.1 on some books and went up to 2.38 several hours ago. It's crazy that the bookmakers still put Hellraisers as a favorite despite the losing streak they have recently I see this series as a 50-50 with a small advantage to FlyToMoon because of their win streak.

What do you guys think about the NiP vs Vitality match later today ? I like NiP after their performance against Faze but i'm still having doubts after their last series went to all three maps.
