Heretics - North: BetOnBit

Small bet on North today. They are looking better without kjaerbye then with him lol. Hopefully we see another surprise today as North with Jumpy still didn't lose a match.

Thanks Rand,

I ran out of funds but in all this time I have only deposited twice and watched and enjoyed loads of games where I had an interest in it.

Just deciding if to re-fund a bit now or wait for the next things and just enjoy these ones.

Good luck as always with your pics

[DOTA 2] WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1 is coming to an end. 2 more matches remaining. Tuesday is the final day of the league and we have to see lower bracket finals and grand finals yet. Let’s check out 3 teams that remained.

VP.Prodigy - Team Liquid: BetOnBit

Monday was very interesting in the WePlay Pushka league. We saw Team Liquid crushing their 2 opponents in the lower bracket of the tournament. After they dropped to the lower bracket by losing to Team Secret, Liquid played 2 very strong matches in one day. They beat Alliance 2-1, and Virtus.Pro 2-0. Their Monday performance was impeccable. I was more impressed with their match vs Virtus.Pro than vs Alliance. They just crushed Virtus.Pro in both maps in under 40 minutes. Virtus.Pro looked like a tier 3 team vs Team Liquid, making mistakes and weird moves / rotations. The Team Liquid from ESL One LA Online and the Team Liquid from WePlay Pushka league are two different teams. Currently, Liquid looks like one of the strongest European teams. VP.Prodigy after their wins vs Alliance and NiP in the upper bracket, and their loss to Team Secret, are facing another strong European team. This will be a very interesting match, and it will be interesting to see if VP.Prodigy can pull off a miracle vs Team Liquid, or even take a map against them. Team Liquid are very big favourites here, and odds on their match win are decent. When you watch Liquid’s last two matches, there is no doubt on who to bet here. Liquid must win this. I'm gonna risk with 3 maps. Much safer pick is Liquid ML, if you find decent odds.

Potential winner: Team Secret

Whoever wins the match between VP.Prodigy and Team Liquid, will be put to the hardest test yet. Team Secret awaits them in the grand finals. The grand finals will be played in best of 5 series. Team Secret had an almost perfect tournament run. But they lost one match vs one team in the group stage. And that team was Team Liquid. Yes, Team Liquid is the only team in this tournament who managed to beat Team Secret. Secret ended their group stage run with 5 wins and 1 loss, and in the playoffs they rolled over their competition 2-0 vs Natus Vincere, 2-0 vs Team Liquid and 2-0 vs VP.Prodigy. I think whoever will face Team Secret in the grand finals will lose. However I do think Team Liquid is the only team in this tournament who can beat Team Secret (according to previous match statistics), so hopefully they will make this match interesting. Another thing is that grand finals are best of 5, which favours Team Secret even more. Winner of this match will win a big check with $70.000.

With what's happening to Dota 2 and CS:GO bets right now, I'm pretty much interested in starting an experiment that will pick only underdogs and see the profit/losses in units after a week or so. I'm just waiting for the right time to take action for it. Pretty sure that the outcome of it would be very entertaining.  Grin

Well, I will not just pick the underdog and bet on it. I'll try to take some time to do some research on the underdog team and then go with them.

It was entertaining for me, I mean betting on underdogs. Just try to keep the stake small and profits will turn on very good. I placed a 2 bet parlay with small stake and made good with around 5x odds.  Kiss

With Chinese Dota getting unpredictable right now and most of the CSGO big teams underperforming, I think its a good chance to bet on underdogs.

Oh wow lots of the favourites got badly raped today.

NaVi VP Nemiga Alliance

Ouch

Yup, almost all of the underdogs in today's games won. Really bad for those punters who bet on favorites. Looks like the bookies will have a very great day today.  Roll Eyes

These are not surprising for the underdogs to win with the better teams playing their A-game on LAN.
I had Hard Legion 2:0 @ 13.00x and paired it with North 2:0 @13.00x as well yesterday.
North still beat G2 but dropped the first map.
Would of been a nice payout with betting just 0.00936eth to win 1.57eth @169x odds. Grin

G2 losing this series to North with Jumpy (coach) standing in for Kjaerbye might just take the cake of the most nonsensical, fucked up result since we've moved to online play.

Yesterday, I didn't went on that one but I did mostly underdogs in most of the matches and won all lol.

CSGO is going really unpredictable right now. Lots of underdogs are taking over some big names. The other day I was watching Natus Vincere vs Syman Gaming and Natus Vincere lost that to the team I haven't heard of Sad. I don't know what to make our of it- are underdogs really playing well or the big teams just forgot their play?. Apart from Faze and Astralis everyone has lost their form as it seems.

thats a good idea to experiment sometimes  .  not just it will remove the boredom from same old picks but it can also lead to unexpected profits  but you are right that you still need to do research and not just bet and bet randomly because that will increase you winning chance  knowing that its still a strategy game and the team that plan and strategize the most are more likely can win the game   .  not just here but ive seen a sports bet lately that underdogs also win the most  . maybe its thier season   ?

[DOTA 2] WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1 is entering its final phase. 5 matches remaining until we will crown first Pushka league champion. After a lot of surprises and underdogs performing well, is it time for the favourites to take over? Let’s see.

Team Liquid - Alliance: Alliance ML, 2.15 @ BetOnBit
VP.Prodigy - Team Secret: Team Secret -1.5, 1.89 @ BetOnBit

Both teams have surprised us in this tournament, especially Team Liquid. They looked awful at ESL One LA Online, but they came back in this tournament and have some showed amazing plays and matches. After their 3rd place in the EU group and amazing win vs Virtus.Pro in round 1 of the playoffs, now is the time to face Alliance. Alliance and Liquid faced each other in the group stage already where Alliance celebrated a 2-1 win. Alliance dominated the EU group by beating all teams except Team Secret. In round 1 of the playoffs they got surprised by VP.Prodigy. In the lower bracket they’ve crushed Natus Vincere to advance on. In their last 2 matches, Alliance hasn’t lost vs Team Liquid, counting the last 2 months. They have already beat Liquid in the group stage, and I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t do it again. Liquid are the sportsbooks favourites, but that’s good for Alliance bettors. Nice odds on Alliance win. It will be a close match, but Alliance has a strong chance.

What makes Team Secret so special and one of the best teams in the world? It has to be Puppey, their captain and drafter. Their drafts are impeccable, and if they fall short draft wise, they will make up for it in game. Their rotations, team fights and understanding of the game makes them the biggest favourites to take this tournament. They have had almost a perfect tournament run. Their loss vs Team Liquid in the group stage didn’t affect them. They topped their group with 5 wins and 1 loss, but in the playoffs they are looking even better. 2-0 vs VirtusPro and 2-0 vs Team Liquid in the playoffs brought them to the upper bracket finals. On the other hand VP.Prodigy is most probably the biggest surprise of the tournament and the biggest discovery in the EU dota scene lately. They are doing it all, making the plays and surprising and knocking out big teams. They have beaten Alliance and NiP to make it here. Now, they will be put on the biggest test until now, as Team Secret is the strongest team that they’ve faced since the Virtus.Pro academy team was created. However, I don’t think they can do it, Team Secret is too strong, and they will just get overrun. Maybe they can surprise us by taking a map off Secret, that’s possible, however I do think there is a higher chance that this match ends up with 2-0 for Secret.

Secret won 2-0 and we did hit those juicy ~2.40 odds.

Pitty for NaVi + NiP. Both NaVi and NiP had a chance to take a map, but they both threw the leads they had. Pitty for that :/

Very nice picking Alliance for the 2nd map, a divine rapier was especially built and handed on a silver platter to them by no other than Na'Vi itself. LOL!

It was puzzling to me for Medusa hurrying to assemble a DR, even before a butterfly or a skadi.

And now they are saying good bye to the tournament.
I was quite lucky actually  Grin Grin.

I thought Alliance won't throw and do stupid things anymore but I saw S4 were so bad at his lane (he didn't take 3rd skill against Monkey King and lost the lane so hard) and they even didn't team up to take/disturb the stacked creeps for Medusa. So after that, Navi's cores are on the top 3 of networth leader and they had a great snowball for the late game.

But unfortunately, that Divine Rapier throw was truly fatal.

Are these the playoff games for last places?
Yeah, it was the playoffs lower bracket match so the losing team will be eliminated.

[DOTA 2] My picks and bets for WePlay Pushka Division 1 playoffs today:

Ninjas in Pyjamas - Virtus Pro: Ninjas in Pyjamas 1.5, 1.73 @ BetOnBit
Alliance - Natus Vincere: Natus Vincere 1.5, 1.49 @ BetOnBit
Team Liquid - Team Secret: Team Secret -1.5, 2.37 @ BetOnBit

All matches are BO3. I do think that today is very risky day and so are the bets, especially if you go for handicaps. Value in ML bets is very low to none, if you go on favourites of course.

My twitter: rand1919

I prefer to do live betting while watching these matches. I'm currently watching Alliance vs Navi and see Alliance are really dominating the game (their draft is also good).
Although Navi managed to win some teamfights, Alliance are still able to control the map and increase the networth gap.

So I made a bet on Alliance for the 2nd map winner. While the other 2 matches are too risky for me and I don't have any idea who will win yet.
