Yes, all matches are live streamed. For CS:GO you can follow results and streams here https://www.hltv.org/

Thanks for the links, I watched my first game last night I think it was hellraiser v gambit

Spent ages picking charectors at the start, then they all ran around fighting trees while some guy in overview mode clicked badly around on the map so I couldnt follow it too well.  Cheesy

The tips are looking great thanks and I found the games on Bet365 so thats cool for me account and all.

Thanks,

I'm interested if Esport events are still going to continue because of the COVID-19 Virus. I guess a lot of events that including huge crows are going to be canceled in order to prevent the coronavirus.
You are missing a lot.

Forget about those live events, esports can be played even without those huge crowds.

That's the best part of it. Esports is currently booming, and one reason is COVID-19. All TO's are turning to esports. Even big sports companies want to have their own leagues in their own games (NBA - basketball, UFC - MMA games...). All those sports have it's own games, where you can create online tournaments between players and still have some sort of entertainment.

We should be clear here though. The reason why sports like NBA, F1, etc are starting to play online games is not because of esports but because they wanted to maximize the viewership their players are in their houses. If you will be following the NBA on Instagram, they are posting a lot of videos about players and other stuff. NBA2K has its own tournaments, and if you will watching it, it is full of TTs and I think it is fun but sometimes annoying since instead of focussing on the game, they are busy TTing. F1 has also their own tournament in the past and it is quite boring if you will be watching it. if you want it even Farming Simulator has a tournament, that is how the online games are evolving right now.

[DOTA 2] Last 2 days: 6/7 @ Dota 2. ESL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: Europe & CIS is entering day 8. We will watch the 4th round in the group B, as Team Secret is firmly holding their 1st place without a map lost. Let’s analyse all upcoming Saturday matches.

Team Secret - Chicken Fighters: Team Secret -1.5, 1.41 @ BetOnBit
Team Liquid - Team Spirit: Team Spirit +1.5, 1.41 @ BetOnBit
Ninjas in Pyjamas - Natus Vincere: Natus Vincere, 1.44 @ BetOnBit
Alliance - Team Unique: Team Unique 1.5, 1.51 @ BetOnBit

Last time those two teams faced each other was 4 months ago, where Secret took a 2-0 win. I do believe they will repeat that result on Saturday too. Why? Team Secret is just looking like a team from another dimension in this tournament. They took all their 3 matches seriously and won them all easily without losing a map. NaVi, NiP, Liquid - those are the teams that fall to mighty Secret. On the other hand, Chicken Fighters surprised us all with their amazing performances as they took at least 1 map in all 3 matches they’ve played. They have won against NiP and Spirit, and lost against NaVi. Even though their squad looks promising, I don’t think they can do anything against Team Secret. If Secret continues to take their matches seriously, another 2-0 will happen. Let’s take this with caution, as we saw big surprises in most of the rounds until now, in both groups.

What’s going on with Team Liquid? They are firmly holding the last place in the group with 3 losses. They have lost vs Alliance, Secret and lastly their unexpected loss vs Team Unique happened on Thursday. Team Secret is top 3 currently in this group with 2 wins and 1 loss. They’ve won vs Unique, they have won vs Alliance, but they have lost vs Chicken Fighters. Those two teams didn’t face each other recently, but now Team Spirit has a chance to really do something in this match. Team Liquid is in terrible form, and Spirit must use that in their favour. Handicap on Team Spirit here is a good bet.

Those two teams didn’t play recently, but they will have a chance to show their best play this Saturday. NaVi are currently holding 4th place with 2 wins and 1 loss, while NiP are ranked 6th with 1 win and 2 losses. NaVi is looking decently, even though they have shaky performances too. They have won vs Unique and Chicken Fighters, but lost to strong Team Secret. NiP lost vs Chicken Fighters and Team Secret, but won against Alliance. Basically it looks like everybody is capable of taking a map from each team in this group, if we don’t include Secret. However, I do think NaVi is a much stable team and with much better early / mid game, and that NiP don’t have enough strength to contest this. Let me remind you that NiP are playing with 2 standins, most probably Blizzy and Milan this time.

With their 2-1 vs Liquid, Unique joined 1-2 group of teams like Alliance and NiP. Funny enough, Alliance is their next opponent. Seems like Alliance’s mixed squad doesn’t know how to face CIS teams, as they already lost to Team Spirit with 1-2 result. Their second loss was vs NiP, but they have managed to get a 2-1 win vs disoriented Team Liquid. I’m not saying that Unique are favourites in the match vs Alliance, because they are not. But after seeing them taking Liquid down and taking a map off NaVi and Spirit, they surely are in the right position to take a map off Alliance. Good odds on that bet. This ESL One online league can’t stop surprising us.

Be careful here, anything is possible! GL! PM me for discord / google sheet!

Yeah, this is the only sports that can be done online so probably events or tournaments can still be continued.

The live events you're referring are those majors events that require crowd and support of the people, are canceled because it can't be done online. Major events need sponsors to gain huge pot, it's part of the strategy to hype the people, watch the series of the tournament and to be the witness of the world champion on that specific game.

You can watch  ESL Pro League Season 11 that is currently happening right now and bet for Astralis.  Wink

Just wondering.  I know DOTA has like the biggest tourneys.  I tried watching the game with Team Liquid vs some team on it and I found the game a bit slow...  Are there any other popular games out there?  Preferably with quicker pace.
Yeah, DOTA is quite complex unlike other games, and has the possibilties to turn close to being defeated moments into a winning one. I can't recall if I read it somewhere that there is some match in DOTA that took 3 hrs to finish, that's how complex DOTA is. If you're interested to similar games like DOTA but with a quicker pace you could try watching LOL as I can see the average game time takes about half of an hour (30 mins) or 1 hr depends on how competitive the match up is, but the gameplay here like building up item were quite quick. But if you want more quicker you could try watching ML (Mobile Legends) this game are making now its name in e-sports industry, and note this game are being played in mobile phones (as the title of the game says), usually the average game time here runs for about 20 mins, greater than that were really a competitive one.
I agree with League of Legends or LoL, the game runs for 30-40 minutes depends on the strategy of the player. Dota 2 gameplay runs almost 1 hour the game has a higher chance of having a comeback, unlike LoL that requires a lot of effort to reverse the situation.

Can I ask, are there any bettings sites that include mobile games especially Mobile Legends and PUBG mobile? Mobile games are fast-paced games even in tournaments.

Other popular fast-paced games in PC:
  • LoL
  • CS:GO
  • Overwatch

DOTA2 usual game time is 35 to 60 minutes. Most of my games usually ends in 40+ minutes, just like LoL.

There are come back wins in DOTA2 but not easy, it also requies a lot of effort too.

It is hard to judge unless someone plays a lot of it.

I've read articles on Facebook that UFC is planning to continue its matches in an Island I wonder how Esport is going to adjust at this time, Esport is already online so I guess it would be easier than other Games.

Yes, esports events are not fully affected by COVID-19, because simply tournaments can be played online instead of offline (LAN events). So some tournament organizers decided to switch their tournaments to online mode, and continue with them normally. In that case, teams / players are playing from their homes.

Some big sports organizers turned to esports in this case, as their sport programs are all delayed and stopped for now. For example F1 started and organized their online F1 league where players are playing F1 game. Same with NBA etc... NBA has it's own NBA game league.

Hey, regarding MOBA esports games Dota 2 is pretty fast. League of Legends may be little more popular due to different system, but in my opinion matches and game play is way slower.

I would suggest you to follow FPS shoter esports games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive or Overwatch, but Overwatch will be very confusing if you are new to esports or Overwatch itself.

I can't think of a good game right now with big tournaments but if we will be talking about quick-paced games, I would recommend Mobile Legends. I don't know if they have any games right now, but I am seeing some replays last week.

Dota 2 average match duration is around 30 mins - 50 mins and you won't be able to enjoy it (whether you playing or watching) if you don't really know the details of the game.

Are there any other popular games out there?  Preferably with quicker pace.
Among all esports games? or just among MOBA games? Because Dota 2 is a MOBA game.

A bit sad as NaVi lost to Fnatic. I know that they are the usual choke teams but I thought they could do it since Perfecto is a good piece for the team as Guardian left. Fnatic though, they had a good run in this tournament, even defeating Astralis and now Na'Vi which is the number 1 team based on the tournament. This team might win this tournament.

Yea, it's hard to bet on this tournament. I was terrible today with my CS:GO predictions :/

Well, that is fine though. I am also shocked by the current results especially Fnatic. I guess this is also influenced by the fact that it is being played online unlike the usual LAN tournaments. I will still continue to watch this thread bro, don't worry, it really happens.

Im just in watch and learn mode for now. Is there a way to watch the games somewhere?

They are also streaming it in their YouTube channel :
