i am counting the days for the ethereum  dump to heppen so i can buy it again. and i will not buy it while it is this high priced even if it means missing out on any possible rises.

How long before we see an Augur hack similar to the DAO hack?

I think there will only be a slow price rise of the Etheruem. There is no big application of the Etheruem yet.

I think so. The whale are accumulating the Ehteruem. That could be the reason why the price is not rising.

Plus the investors/traders are also attracted to this currency nowadays, so if we invest some amount of our money in it for now then we can  expect a good profit with it, and it is hope that we will not lose this time with our investment in Eth.

I noticed the price volatility is quite low at the moment. You have to trade within a very tight range now.

That is quite short term observation. But if you expand the time scale to early this year, the up trend is not broken.

Well we are not the same strategy but we are holding those altcoin same..but i am not calculating how much i earn in other altcoin i just add all my earnings into one.. but i think eth is more fast movement than XMR according to chart for xmr right now its 0.15% down from the price yester day and ethereum price still the same as yesterday price..

If you look at the ETH price chart than you see a slow but steady decline of the Tops which seems to be leveling off:

• July 23 0.022
• Aug 10 0.021
• Sept 02 0.021

This signals to me less potential growth compared to smaller Alts, which is expected with ETH having such a high marketcap. However, this drives capital out of Etherum and into new shiny Alts such as Monero or ShadowCash...

I had heard some months back that Ethernet will overpower bitcoin in coming time. But does not look so. What's your say on this?

I can actually make money doing day trading of ETH in polo, I like the price because it is so predictable and every time there is a dump it is expected that in a short time pump will happen, to be honest, ETH and XMR are giving me more income this days along side with LISK sometimes. But I would like to say that I got more profit in ETH.

@Vlad2Vlad. If it was manipulated to go up can it be also manipulated to go down? It could be a nice strategy for the whales to profit in both directions. In Poloniex you can short ETH. I am not sure with Kraken.

ETH was all manipulation so the manipulation continues.

They are a divide of the same thing right? So they should result in the generally the same amount in the end.

I agree with that. The Etheruem price is quite low at the moment. It has good development and community, the price will rise.

I think it is time too get into this now since it is stable and increasing from a month now.
I have been watching it's increase and just waiting for it to drop in price but it hasn't.
So now is the time to buy up. 

It seems there is no bad news about the ETC at the moment. So it is good for the ETC. That is why the price is rising.
