for me Bitcoin is the best, the beginning of all crypto currencies who created by satoshi. ethereum is also one of the top alternative coins except bitcoin, many company and ICO's engaging in Ethereum because it has a platform that compatible with erc20 token and low fee compare to bitcoin.
The main difference between Ethereum and Bitcoin is the meaning of their creation. Bitcoin is for payment. Ethereum is a multifunctional platform that supports smart contracts, applications, the creation of your own tokens and the conduct of ICOs. These capabilities represent tremendous, autonomous value that makes Ethereum a unique system. It turns out that Bitcoin is just digital money, and Ethereum is a multifunctional tool.
Another important difference is the possibility of platform development, Ethereum is constantly being improved, Bitcoin remains in its original form.

I've always known that, and that's why I've always kept bitcoin and ETH more than the rest of the altcoins. Its popularity is already so great that when it comes to this market for a newcomer everyone will know bitcoin and ETH first. This is important while it is the source of access to a wider cryptocurrency space, the current position of both bitcoin and ETH will be hard to find an alternative product.
They are not comparable, it's like saying gold or internet is better... both will have a glorious future for different reasons.
In essence, the first one is much better so they are in the first and second place, so if it is made in the form of a real comparison, then this is like comparing Gold and Silver which both have a high selling value and many are interested in it.
As much as possible I don't like spoon-feeding, it's like you are asking for free money. Both of them are good long-term investments sitting first and second in terms of supporters and market capitalization. You cannot compare both of them since they are uniquely built each, with a different purpose and usage.
Let me ask you first, how money do you have? I prefer investing in Ethereum than Bitcoin, because Ethereum's price is still cheap to get more profits. If you want to invest for long term you can see $Polkadot, tbh $DOT is still cheap for small investor. I think $DOT will do what BNB did in the last month. You can also find some projects in $Polkadot ecosystem, I see their projects is worth to invest.
Choosing one of them? You need to go to the exchange and buy there or if you've got friends that own it then buy any of them.

I agree with that. Both have their own use and which is better, both can be on that level but it's more likely to be bitcoin. 
After raise to higher price above $1,800 now ethereum become stable coin just have change about 1% until 3% only although bitcoin going up or down, I think its not good to increase your investment if want to hold assets in ethereum, we need coin could be break out more than 100% every month and get much profit as investor or holder.

Both are very good, but I would rather recommend you to invest in Ethereum for now, because the price of Ethereum has not risen very high and I'm sure if the price of Ethereum will increase very high soon, so you will definitely get a lot of profit from investing in Ethereum and now is the right time for you to invest in Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum is going down.

Yes, indeed, both bitcoin and Ethereum are the best choice for investing today. But in my opinion, the price of ethereum is undervalued and should be much higher. You can't compare the two, OP.It's like apple and orange comparison.
Even though Bitcoin's price is higher than Ethereum per coin in US Dollars, that isn't comparable.
Both aim different things so you can't really compare.
Both, But I think BTC is good at this time. Recently price of btc decrease something, it’s can a opportunity to invest in btc. Also BTC is most popular tradable currency, The demand of btc always high. So, We can hope huge profit from btc.
I don't know why you are looking for best when what you should be looking for is maximum profit, you can not do anything with this coins except hold to make profit, so beat should not be your priority, and to me they are both good investment, eth is cheaper compare to btc but they will both give you profit long or short term.

This should not even be a question, we know which one of those coins surpassed its previous ATH and went 200% above it while the other barely surpassed its own, we know which coin is actually used to buy products and services, we know which one is being adopted by institutional investors and now even central banks want it.We know the answer is bitcoin, look if you want to invest in ethereum do so, as an investment you are not doing as badly as ethereum will outperform most stocks and other investments, but why settle for the second best when you can get the best and obtain more from it? Get bitcoin and just forget about it.
Why choose only just one when you can choose both? It is better to diversify your funds among those two if you are having a hard time deciding because both Bitcoin and Ethereum are essentially good in their own unique ways. No need to bump them against each other telling one is better than the other. Since you have both in the coin choice of your prospects for investment, better choose both and just divide your funds on those two for they are both profitable but in different frequency. Bitcoin and Ethereum do stand out independently so both are essentially good for investment.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are two very different crypto coins, so in my own personal opinion, it makes no sense comparing the two, but I understand that your comparison is based on investment purposes, so my personal advice is that if you can afford to buy up to 1 or 2 bitcoins, then buy and keep, and if you can afford 5 or 6 Ethereum, then buy that too and keep, bitcoin and Ethereum are both very good to invest in at the moment, so I will advice you invest in both, but put more money in bitcoin cus it sometimes moves much more faster than Ethereum.
I prefer to choose bitcoin as the best investment, although ethereum can be my second best investment. I have bitcoin and ethereum now, but not much like the other people, so I still hold it while waiting for the downtrend to buy more bitcoin and ethereum. Besides holding, I think you can trade both bitcoin and ethereum because, with trading, you can have a way to increase your bitcoin and ethereum amount. But I think we do not need to compare bitcoin and ethereum as the best investment because bitcoin is the best investment, and ethereum will be the second investment.
There's lot of big words and potential anyone can find out both of these two coins. Anyway, I'm going with Ethereum casue the price is expected to bounce over $2000USD. It will just have some patient, get one that you afford.
It doesn't matter what kind of coin that people interested with but it's a non sense thing to make a comparison between both. I wanna call bitcoin as the best store of value and ethereum as the most used coin for the token creation or smartcontract. People should go for both because both were having the same fundamental already used by millions people in the world
