I'll go with LTC now. or why you will divide your funds? Try to put on both coins. LTC and ethereum is really promising and good for long term investment. It is really nice for long term because they are more project upcoming. This is only my opinion. Try also other coin beside ETH or LTC.

My first choice will go to Eth because of some reason
as ethereum price is high as compare to ltc
ethereum demand is more in market as compare to LTC
Ethereum volatility is high as compare to LTC.
But also best option is that to work with some different coins at a time is best.

my vote goes to eth.ltc also good moving but eth is the most popular currency after bitcoin.it's demand too much high all of the world.I have little investment in eth & I hope eth increasing every day.

According to your sentence you already have a portfolio means or I hope you have btc in there . So this means addind LTC is a little bit nonsense, as reason of acting like btc it is. so I suggest adding ethereum to your portfolio.
If you have no BTC in your portfolio then I suggest adding 40% btc 60% ethereum with you small amount..
At the end of the day if you have profit from BTC this means increase on ethereum will be much more than you will have much more from ethereum..

Both LTC and ETH are solid options in my opinion. It's impossible to know which one will see more growth in the near future. That's why it makes sense to hold some of each.

for the long term I prefer both because I do not want to miss any chance of it from these two coins I believe in the future he has a good development to increase the selling point of the coin.

My question is, do you have knowledge to manage ETH or LTC and what your goal activity?. If you're trader, I believe ETH is more profitable than LTC and if you're investor please choose LTC because ETH has price action move more significant than LTC. But if you're beginner just buy bitcoin and try to manage it. From there you can learn crypto market work and also news impact. Up to you and good luck.

I think that in the long term, the ETH project is a project that has specific direction and can be sustainable in the future. There are now a lot of ICO-based ICs on the ETH platform, which has driven the price of ETH extremely well. Ethereum is one of the best investment this year and so on. I'm a big fan of ETH by the way.. They have the best platform. I'm holding all my ERC-20 token in MYETHERWALLET and Litecoin is my next option after ETH they have the same transaction of bitcoin. it can provide lightning network.

ETH all the way. Technology aside, ETH has been continuously increasing since we entered this year due to the rise of the ICOs using ETH platform. This could continue and you could get a handsome profit because of that.

I personally recommend ETH than LTC. Eth will be so much high at the end of this year. It might go 3k usd up to 5k usd if it enjoys its run. ETH is such a beautiful coin with a beautiful team behind it. It seconds bitcoin. But I recommend you to invest also in NEO.

I think the ethereum has more potential than Litecoin. Smart contracts are written on it, make ICOs and resolve the issue of scaling. In general from all points of view it has more potential as a valuable asset. Of course ethereum will reach 10K in the future. But just now, I will hold main part of my portfolio in bitcoins, etherum and may be in Bitcoin cash.
