As we see in the market, they need to double their efforts in order to rich or if they want to get that high. For now, I think it is impossible to get 1000$ by the end of this year because the bitcoin price keeps on getting higher. Let us see what will happen next.
With the same market cap as Bitcoin, eth will be 1500 value.
if the btc wil rise, the eth. will also rise. I think the bitcoin will touch 12.000 at the end of next year, so eth. will also go higher.
i think no because we all witness that if the bitcoins value is rising, the altcoin value is decreasing therefore etherium also drops because etherium is also an altcoins right? and now bitcoins value is slowly decreasing and we also see that altcoins are starting to rise slowly though we cant say that they can continue to do it because there are still upcoming forks and segwits that may affect their performance.
I think it won't happen. I think the price will be 250/300 at the end of this year. maybe next year, if the btc wil rise, the eth. will also rise. I think the bitcoin will touch 12.000 at the end of next year, so eth. will also go higher.
Now, I see only how bitcoin grows up. ETH has long been stable around $300
etherium is started to move upwards though its not really noticeable because it only increase a small percent thesedays and i believe this can still go on because the fork trend has been passed and also some altcoins now are starting to rise again after a long sleep. yet i dont believe that etherium can reach 1000$ this year because there is still another fork this december.
I don't know about reaching $1,000 ending this year, maybe end of next year. BTC will remain strong and eth will likely remain or slightly higher/lower from its current price.
I don't think we will see ETH at 1K in next 12 months. Much more probable value is $500-$600 in 6-12 months. People are now returning to alts after canceled hard fork.
In fact if we want to get to or see ethereum prices became $1000. Then everything will be better, if we are doing the best in it. Everything could happen at any time, but we do have to look at the conditions and circumstances that exist. Indeed the ethereum there is likely not going to touch the price of $1000, because the data market is very stable and yet ethereum looks so high or fast. Just wait and take advantage of the price of the ethereum now to be able to get a good price or profit in the future.

Not for this year and yes for the next year as the pos casper makes the miner will be not profitable again because the pos transition and it will be the same as another pos token. Ethereum will make us rich in the future 
I guess the price of eth is still very far from the price of $ 1000. well, but i hope it happens. I currently have quite a lot of eth stock, so I guess it's worth keeping eth for that price. hopefully the eth price will go up soon.

I think the BCH is only temporary, its uptrend will end soon. The ability to replace the ETH position is not high.

What are you sniffing lately, man? Or are you still dreaming? Wake up and see for yourself that Ethereum until now is still valued less than $300. We are all fans of Ethereum but we should be rational and not like some other diehard fans that will speculate more than what is real. I would actually be very happy and satisfied if Ethereum will reach $400 by the time this year 2017 releases the curtain. It is hard to target very high and fail.

i wouldnt say 1000$ but i can say 500$. ethereum didnt lose any power against dolar at darkest days. it didnt fell lower then 300$ and i'm realy surprised

It's really hard to Ethereum touch $1000. It doesn't rise rapidly anymore, I think it will be no more than $ 500 until the end of the year.

You give no explanation why this is going to be the case, ETH is a project that is solid but it is not going to triple its price in a matter of months, it seems it is more likely that bitcoin cash reaches that amount of money sooner since at this time it has a value 875 dollars. Jump to:
