Ethereum has lot of potential and i'm a massive fan but not sure it will hit 100usd. Bitcoin is still king and like most said 1000usd will eclipse bitcoin as king.
ETH is very good coin after BTC in history of cryptocurrency .i guess it will touch 1000$ in coming few months
I also think like that, judging from the progress now eth more and more have enthusiasts and more famous. plus some ICO started using Ethereum.
Hi. 1000 would be great, but i think its too high. I wonder what happens if the ICO hype goes down? Will it be good or bad for ethereum? I see ETH at 500 Dollar at the end of the Year

Highly doubt it will reach $1000 this year, but it's bound to happen next year.
Yes i also doubt eth will reach $1000 by the end of this year i believe on Q2 2018 it will happen eth price for now is $293 
I think a lot of us would be euphoric if that happens, but that's not really realistic. I'm feeling more like $500 by years end and that's extremely bullish.
I personally think there might be some shift towards QTUM by the end of this year. Just a personal opinion. I'm not saying that ETH will lose its value but I feel like there will be some attention divided to QTUM.

Yes eth has potential to achieve that price in the end of this year so its worth to invest in it now as price is comparatively low and can go higher in future so will invest a part of my wealth in it to make good and quick profits in short term.
I doubt if this is going to be possible as the price is currently below $350. It will take a significant pump for ethereum to get to $1000 and I don't think that will happen this year but probably next year. I have been following ethereum chart and the price has be in ranging market for quite some time now and if we have a breakout we will see ether at around $500 and if we got another attack on cryptocurrencies ethereum may fell below $150.
You can see the price of Bitcoin, do you remember the first target of Bitcoin in this year? Yeah, just from $3,000 and today the price of Bitcoin has pumped higher than $6,000. I think most people would be happy if ETH could even hit 500 this year, I don't think it has a high chance of hitting 1000$ until Q3 2018
This is likely to happen because ETH is being forgotten and the price of ETH has been steadily declining recently. I think we should keep the ETH and restrict the sale during this time as it will certainly be pumped up very high and will soon reach $ 1000 soon.
In my opinion its price will increase but very slowly and there is nothing to expect that its value will be incredibly big now, there is a chance but it looks in the long run.

but for some people (like me) the base currency is BTC, so ETH-fiat is not very interesting. ETH/BTC rate is not very appealing now

If all goes well, it will be a chance to identify ether with bitcoin and it would be revolutionary for the market, hopefully we will live in time like this.
I certainly dont think it will reach $1k this year. I think towards the end of 2018 it could be worth $600-650
