Everyone is waiting for updates, a lot of events are planned for January, which will definitely affect the market and we will start to grow!
People have doubts about ethereum because of it's big falling but they are wrong for this, ethereum 2.0 will be perfect for market and we will see big ethereum again then, maybe new ath come with 2.0 soon.

At the beginning of 2019 update will be here and block prize is lowered to 2 ethereum. I am expecting a rise from here because right now ethereum miners are hardly profit and when the prize is lowered they will profit less and maybe lose money, that's why price needs to be higher.

According to Buterin Serenity will see Ethereum finally switch from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake, a model in which people and organizations holding ether will “stake” their own coins in order to maintain the network, and will earn block rewards for doing so. In 2018, Ethereum’s core developers decided to abandon the half-measures of the hybrid model they had been working on and instead set out on a path that would initially take longer, but would deliver “a proof-of-stake and sharded blockchain with the properties that we’re looking for,” said Buterin.
Serenity won’t be the final product of Ethereum developers. Issues of transaction fees and governance will remain, said Buterin. Along with other technical improvements, he and other core developers have already begun mapping out future tweaks to the proof-of-stake model.

Vitalik is now all that is doing is trying to undermine the credibility of the project and drop its level in the eyes of the community. Personally I so consider all his statements and innovations which he tries to make.

Yes, we hope that Ethereum's price will rise again when it approaches Hardfork Ethereum, and also hope that the price of Ethereum-based ICO Tokens will follow the increase, so we will again benefit from the very bleak ICO Token this year.
Yes, this is good news for Ethereum investors. Perhaps the Ethereum update can save the current Ethereum price. When the developer team is not willing to sell Ethereum, Ethereum will restore the price.
This is good news, because there are already many good competitors on the market, they all look cheaper than Ethereum. Ethereum 2.0 may bring recovery possibilities to Ethereum.

Thank for sharing information this gives clear for thise people out there losing faith for ethereum as 1st altcoins some people say ethereum will become zero value.

The launching of one of the upgrades on Ethereum blockchain might start the fire burning on the prices of ethereum making it too hot to resist. The first upgrade, Constantnopole, might trigger the bull run.
Year 2019 might be the year of Ethereum because of the roadmap set by the developer of Ethereum blockchain. The series of improvements on the blockchain will surely raise the position of ethereum in the market.
Before the Ethereum hardfork there will be a pamp, then after a successful launch there will probably come a stream of investors and the second breath will open for ico projects

it's a good sign that Ethereum developers began to work hardly over their project. community is waiting for a long time for the improvements.
I hope if it is true that the emergence of Ethereum 2.0 makes the price of Ethereum increase higher and make the quality of Ethereum itself better, making it a trust for investors to prefer Ethereum as a trusted investment place.
To be honest, I very much do not want Ethereum 2.0 to appear in such a weak market, it would be better if it happened at the moment when the normal growth of the entire crypto currency begins, otherwise there can be a huge disappointment
