The ethereum is still a great investment coin and is now a good time for it. It seems to me that soon the growth will begin. This correction should already be over. I think one of the best coin is ethereum. There is no reason to stay away from eth. After BTC all people trust in ETH and they have done their job beautifully during last few years. That's true the etherium was in a big choice for us of what alts are going to hold, Suddenly in the past years the etherium was started to reach a high price i think it was on a $1000 if i'm not mistaken. So for now just started holding etherium because this will be going into a huge price.

I did had a mentality before that eth is bad and it's not worth investing but i do remember i saw somewhere that if it get's more famous the price will increase and that definitely happened. I mostly think it has really high potential of being next bitcoin so if possible trying buying at least 10 eth and wait for 5 years.

No doubt ETH is good altcoin. ETH has potential to rise price in future and also good investment for longtime also it will become more famous altcoin in market.

Reading the policy of ethereum, they are not afraid of failing and restarting as long as they can experiment and get better. So expect ups and downs even going ahead and a bumpy ride.
Why would you want to stay away from a good coin , after bitcoin, its ethereum must altcoin are using its blockchain majority of the investors invest in ethereum, they are sure of what they are investing in
As for me, I am completely opposite. I`m investing in Ethereum alone, and neglecting Bitcoin, who knows, maybe in the future I will do both
