At least, for now, Ethereum is still taking that spot so far looking at the most widely used platform for smart contracts at the moment. A lot of competitions are going to come up for it in coming years actually as I see NEO, Waves and some other great smart contract platform becoming used.

So far though, Ethereum has really been enjoying that moment where it is still being used more by most developers, and there is actually no doubt about it being the queen of cryptocurrency when it comes to being the ICO king at the moment, depending on how each person wants to see it though.

Ethereum is the king of ICO, though it does not really help Ethereum. If Ethereum will also continue to lie on the bottom, even though the entire cryptocurrency market is now at the bottom, then the title of the ICO king from it can go to another more potential coin.

of course I agree with that. almost all ICOs have ERC-20 (Ethereum) platforms, but I've found some ICOs based on platforms other than ETH such as waves and NEO, but I've never found ICO which is success from other than ETH

Actually, most of the tokens on the market right now are based on the Ethereum Smart contract platform and even though a larger percentage of them are shit tokens with no future anyway, we still know for now it is still a platform that is most widely used.

However, we also have to understand that this would not be forever, as we have a lot of project coming up with even much better smart contract features, which I believe as it is, we might end up seeing some huge competitive space for the smart contract platform in coming years.

IF ETH is the king of ICO, then it contributes to the lots of scams this day, scammers used erc2o based platforms in order to run for ICO and then collect money from the investors and then gone., this is the sad reality of ICO's nowadays, we cannot blamed anyone, but later on, i hope ETHEREUM community could do something about their platform, it has been abused lately by some others. Anyway, i believe by myself that eth is the king of ICO.

Of course I agree with you. That etherium is ico king. Because most ico etherium base and I think maximum of ico projects like etherium base platform and that's why I think etherium is the king of ico.
