Eth is not dead.  I must admit that I am quite shocked at how it has performed.  I remember reading an article at the beginning of the year saying that this was going to be the year for Ethereum, and I was pretty well supporting this idea.  How do I feel about it now?  A lot less confident.

I don't think so. Although Ethereum is stagnant, this does not mean that it will die. I believe this is temporary. Ethereum is also a giant in cryptocurrency, and it is impossible to end so easily.

Ethereum is not dead, it is only one of the victims of this serious market crisis that has been going on for some months now. Vitalik Buterin and his team are working hard, and the project has excellent quality and potential, so I'm confident about a recovery in price as the market returns to climb

I don't know where it originated from. In any case, saying ETH is dead is absolutely inconsequential. Each coin are going down and up yet it doesn't mean they are dead. Crypto advertise is certainly unstable and this sort of cost is completely ordinary to everybody. To make false allegation, it isn't useful for the market.

We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?
I dont think so, Eth is also an altcoins and as we all know now, all altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin . So before ethereum awake again bitcoin value must become stable so that altcoins will follow and ethereum will come to life again.

The cost of ethereum goes all over such a significant number of times, thus does the entire market.. indeed, even bitcoin, or coins in best of the coinmarket. I accept ethereum with savvy contract will survive and recuperate unequivocally

Personally, I still believe in this project, it is a high-class coin with a colossal prospect, which will still be at the top of the rating for a long time.
The waves and news that are now reducing the cost of this coin will soon end and there will be growth in both price and popularity.
who said, the eth was dead? whether see from the price eth?it decreases, I read in telegram mining groups, that eth in 2019 can no longer be mining
means the price of eth will be pump high. Believe it or not

I do not think so, now many different tokens have lost the price, but all this is temporarily and due to the negative factors that caused it. ETH has a very large impact and the likelihood that it will not be small.

What does Ethereum dead mean? Following this logic, we then entire crypyo market is dead  Cheesy
And the fact that many altcoins continue to evolve no one takes into account? And Ethereum including. Now it accumulates power in the form of a huge number of tokens on the basis of ERC platform. In October we expect the decision about regulation cryptocurrency and then we will fly to the Moon.

Just wanted to write here the same things. It is fancy to think that Ethereum is dead (moreover, officially!). Really, why not say then that Bitcoin died already? Of course, ETH is alive, as well as the whole market.

That dead man still has a capitalization of $36 billion and $2 billion in daily volume. Looks quite alive for me.

It is incredibly funny that I just wrote to a topic that stated ethereum might become the future of crypto and become the biggest coin.
Now I am writing on a topic that says ethereum is "officially" dead. How can a crypto currency be "officially" dead? Who decides that to make it "official"? I have been around the crypto currency market for over 5 years now and have seen and lived many things during these 5 years but one thing I will never understand is the people who say their "opionions" like "facts". This is your opinion, not a fact, stop promoting it like it is a fact.

Eth is stagnant but it doesn't mean that it is dead. The conclusiond doesn't have enough basis for such ideas. I think the Eth will be fixed soon as well.

I think its not yet over, many people were still using it and many investors were planning to invest on it. Ethereum is still alive and i know it will also rise sometime. Just hold and wait for this will help ethereum rise in the future. Lets just support cryptocurrency.
I do not think ETH will end this period, if the cryptocurrency market exists, I believe ETH will grow very well in the near future. I hope that it will be better in the end of the year and ETH will get stronger again.
Ethereum will not going to dead. It will only experience a huge dip sometimes but it will not going to die. If we read dead it is maybe no use or value at this time. But it has still value and many people around on crypto wanted to have more on it. So we cannot really directly say that it is dead because it is not dead and it is not going to dead due to the high demand on the market place.
The huge dip caused by the bad news about bitcoin and that gives a lot of impact to the whole crypto communities. basically this is just another FUD thread to the ethereum but it has been so long as OP has retired from this thread. Bitcoin was the real reason how the price of crypto is not independent.

It's a pity that some people think in this way, I'm personally keeping my coins that I could buy several months ago and will continue trusting until their value again increases in these months you just have to have patience.

i never think if ethereum will become a dead cryptocurrencies
because, if we compared now price of eth with the price when this ethereum born, its far away and an old believer still got a huge profit in current price mate,, i believe soon or later the price of eth will be back to the past high

Well seems like the negativities are back, every single time a coin takes a dip, there are always people ready with lots of explanations and claims made out of rush analysis majorly. Based on rumors a d useless information, c'mon guyswe know better, we have seen the journey ETH has made and the fact that the coinis suffering in the face of the red zone is no Indication of it's death at. All

I'm somewhere in the middle: an experienced developer on other platforms with a decent understanding of blockchains. And what that has given me is the ability to recognize BS and to recognize solid tech, and from the start Ethereum has looked like solid tech, and my opinion has only grown since then. Ethereum is not dead. Many people like myself and thousands more are dedicating serious time and resources from their lives to build dapps. It's only going to get better with time.

No offense to my fellow investors or the traders, but I trust the judgement of people with deep technical knowledge, who are actually putting their time and money into developing for the future, more than I trust that of a blockchain dilettante.

So I'll just keep following the herd (of developers), because I believe they are the ones who will lay the foundation of our future economy and society using this incredible technology.

Until another blockchain either delivers demonstrable utility / value that is greater than Ethereum's, or they garner a critical mass of real developer interest and investment, I won't be budging- no matter where the price goes.

ICO's were not what brought us above 1k. Speculation was. There were massive ICOs (aka the DAO) when ETH was much MUCH lower in price. When ETH scales this year, and more and more platforms go live that require gas for use, the price will steadily increase.
