Eth is still alive even though its price strongly correlates with bitcoin.I was afraid that ethereum could go down to $200 this week, but it didn't happen and it went up to almost $300 again.
No, this coin can not be dead and I already watch 3 its falling to 300 dollars and it has always grown!
What has killed it, you would even see more downtime. but we all have to stay positive. it's gonna unleash it's potentials soon.
I have an idea that Ethereum can be dead only when ico market will be dead. Ethereum, as you know is the platform other tokens and ico. So, the maybe it will be dead only is couple of cases: ico market will die, it will be another platform on the market like neo, eos, another option is development lack.

It's not only the eth is down but the whole market and it's not dead. One of the major reason why the price of ETH is at this 9 month low. It's because 90% of ICO's are Ethereum based. So if those ICO's sell out there tokens for profit then the price of ETH will drastically go down.
Ethereum is very firmly entrenched in the market, so that it will not disappear soon. Now the whole market is unstable, so patience and not panic. Good luck

If you look at large segments, then you do not need to be a technical analysis guru to understand that the Ether rises in price from year to year. If you look at smaller areas, then the main price changes occur because of the news.

The market is going through a very bad time not just for Etherum alone. The truth is that Etherum is not dead and can never die..it will moon very soon.. Just be watchful

Ethereum have great future and good potential, and it is good investment platform, most of the ICO's are generating ethereum platform so more people now days aware about ethereum technology, in future more people will join in ICO's and big investors will come to the market ethereum price will go up more, in my opinion price can be reached $2k by next year, evey one is waiting for it,soon we can see its price go up.Many investors hold etherium as they think it will grow in the near future . I'm still fairly confident in ETH in the long term and i think it's a much better bet than BTC. I think its developers understand the nature of the society in which they're trying to succeed far more than most of the BTC crowd. I think once people realize what PoS actually means vs. PoW, they're going to embrace it in a big way. I think ETH is gonna do well (maybe not to-the-moon well, but it will prove to be a decent investment in the long term).
Right now, though, I don't feel all that great about it or crypto in general, and I suspect things are gonna get worse before they get better.
