The price of a token does not determine the success of any project, the success of a project is on the project itself, I don't know why people see projects as dead when the prices goes down? Market price is all about demand and supply and has nothing to do with the project success.
We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?
I think you cannot say that kind of a thing about Ethereum, it's not officially dead as some people are saying. Ethereum has the potential to grow in the future because of its smart contract capability.
The digital world can not die! At the moment, it comes to stabilization and is prepared for growth, not irregular, but exactly equal and confident growth. In the near future, you will see for yourself.
No such thing is dead in ethereum. When the time it goes down it doesn't mean it is done. It is a flow that not stable yet. That is why it goes red and green. In the crypto market graph it changes value everytime it is depend in the value of crypto market world. It will never be dead mate.
Of course, you can not give up. Sell the ETH, because this month there are so strong changes in the rate.

This is an exaggeration about ETH .I do not know your reasons but whatsoever they maybe,ETH is very much alive with power and ready to continue to be the second best coin available.

No one dies here. And that's how the market works, up and down. You can not therefore say that ETH will/is dead. ETH is still really stable, although prices aren't what we want, but look at how it survived after the market turmoil.
I do not know about the purchase of ETH, too many competitors have appeared in ETH recently and the ETH network has been experiencing too much problems in recent weeks. Competitors will still delay the share of capitalization from ETH. This is EOS and ADA and Tezos and NEO. For me, the most unbeatable option is Bitcoin.

BTC goes down from ~= 20 000 $ to 5000$ its
ETH goes down from ~= 1400 $ to 300$

Although ethereum is down now but this is also the same for almost all coin in crypto and even the best crypto (bitcoin) and this doesn't mean ethereum is dead because ethereum is a very potential coin and it will rise as soon as the market recover from the bear period because it has a very good future in crypto.
