Definitely, if there are altcoins that would be able to survive longer than others, ethereum would be the first in the list. This is clearly because ethereum is second to bitcoins in terms of price, trust, and popularity. In fact, despite all the altcoins out there that are clearly better than ethereum, ethereum will still remain as second to bitcoins just because it is ETHEREUM. I think that ethereum will be reaching new heights anywhere within this year.

Ethereum is more than alive. Even EOS-network launching still has not shaken its positions. Let's see what will happen next year, but 2018 will not be the finishing year for ethereum

We are currently facing a bear market, so the price drop is a normal phenomenon. If you really believe in passwords and their technology, or if you have a loss, then I think you should continue to hold your tokens, I believe you will have greater gains.

I do not think Ethereum is dead. I believe it is one of those ups and downs and the price will come up again. Ethereum is ranked second to bitcoin and a lot of projects make use of it because of its smart contracts. Ethereum will not die anytime soon.

I do not think that the ethereum has died, because until now its technology is used and the ethereum is in great demand and remains on the second place of the market!

This can never be and I will never accept this a someone who has read something small about cryptocurrency. I know this might be from the reason being that ETH price is down.

cryptocurrency has a natural manner of being moving down and moving up their price value, however it doesn't mean that it is officially dead, maybe you don't understand on how cryptocurrency being manage by the creator. We cannot force to blame the management system on how the way they manage crypto business, but I know ethereum will rise very soon.

I do not think so because I saw what this coin is capable of, it fled from an even deeper pit so do not worry just need to wait for maybe even a long time!

The usual drop in prices after a sharp increase. nothing unusual, the usual high volatility of the crypto currency

Officially means "stated by officials".
So, if Vitalik Buterin or other top-management of this project would go and say "We're officially dead", then it would be officially dead.
Eth is a strong coin, backed by lots of alternative currencies, that based on eth (ERC20 compliance, for example).
It's just retesting it's bear lows.
Everything gonna be perfect in longterm.

Ethereum is not dead and won't be. The market is very bearish at the moment and it is normal with the way the price has shrink in recent time. Ethereum will definitely bounce back when the market become bullish again.

This is absolutely impossible, unless the world's network is broken, more than half of the current encryption may be based on ETH, and if ETH has a problem, the entire encrypted ecology will have the risk of disappearing.

Ethereum isn't dead. Ethereum will rise once the market will begin to blast once more. I've seen this before from over 10 usd to beneath 10 usd . At that point ,300 to underneath 300 et cetera. If the pattern of the market is like this, it's best chance to get in.

I do not think that way up and the price is caused by demand in the market, what it can already say die when all crypto experience up and down the price. I think ethereum will stay alive because the ico erc20-based question is ethereum and almost every day ico born..

This year, not that I hope to see the ethereum above $ 700. And I'm sure that the price will be even higher than 1200 dollars. This platform is very well developed.

I do not think it will die. Currently I find the blockchain platform is very good for us to develop so ETH can not die. If ETH is dead then this market will collapse.

The ethereum is alive and will also show very large growth. I do not know why you think that such a large coin can so easily disappear

Cryptocurrencies are very volatile, neither Ethereum is an exception. Just because it is down, doesn't mean it is dying. Smiley
