Presently, the more BTC is expanding in value, the more individuals will take benefits and backpedal from where they cleared out in any case ( for the most part ethereum ) , particularly now that metropolis is close and ethereum will soon leave beta stage. As I would like to think, I expect 1-2 more impromptu hardforks after metropolis before we see tranquility, since ethereum developers will stroll into strange region, since ethereum is very one of a kind in it's own specific manner, something that wasn't done or even contemplated, considerably more aggressive than what bitcoin was at it's discharge.
Ethereum will be always behind bitcoin, because bitcoin is the father of all crypto currencies, they upgraded all aspects of bitcoin and they continue to upgrade it. Ethereum is also a good crypto currency, but in my own opinion it will never beat bitcoin.
I think bitcoin have this price because it's the first blockchain currency and many people known and accept it. We have many coin with more advantage. They just need people accept them

I don't know when there's a lot of transactions on the eth network it seems to slow down the chain so what are they going to do when the pos switch happens there's a lot of miners on pow I think they'll be luck to get half that with pos also I think the eth wallet sucks it takes forever to download the blockchain and constantly have problems keeping it running I gave up and use mew
Why not both of them are win - win. Bitcoin is the King and ETH is the queen. Bitcoin support payment, ETH support ICO

They both have different scopes in future because Bitcoin is moving towards replacing currency whereas Ethereum is moving towards playing a major role in technology.

It has a bi community behind it that is supporting bitcoins , the number of users are also increasing day by day , this helps bitcoins to become more powerful .

The number of users of the bitcoin is not increasing as fast as it should be. The tranaction fee should be reduced further to attract more users.
They can coexist, like all these fiat currencies coexisting.

ethereum and bitcoin have each future in crypto currency as we know bitcoin is still number one right now. bitcoin have huge fans and big community and bitcoin is using as payment and ethereum is a large scale coins with big community too.both coins, bitcoin and ethereum will be the best coins in future with many benefit of each coins that we can use too.
If the blockchain alive then both are the best to invest bitcoin is better because everyone knew about bitcoin few they dont like to invest in other crypto

I think ether has a lot going for it. The sheer amount of new stuff in the pipeline is super exciting. I'm not sure if it can dethrone bitcoin (the name recognition alone would be hard to overcome) at any point in the near future but I'm not sure it really needs to.
Anyway, One of the reasons I prefer ether at the moment over bitcoin is because of all the drama going on with it. Making much needed improvements to it like fixing the transaction costs/speed turned in to a monumental task with tons of drama. People are never going to use it as currency if it takes hours to confirm a transaction and costs more than paypal.

No, Ethereum is just another Altcoin. Ethereum can never beat Bitcoin no matter the situation. 
They have different function so I guess it is not fair to compare that two. But OP is insisting then I can say, ETH is just another altcoin soon to be forgotten once a new technology that outperformed ETH function is released. There are lots of so called "will beat bitcoin" coin projects but so far none is ever successful.

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.
Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

I think it wont happen. for me bitcoin will still become the future of cryptocurrency because as you can see bitcoin is still growing up yet the potential shown is greater than crypto coins out there. Even though ethereum is decent it still cant over power bitcoin in the future. Hence bitcoin will still be number one for me.
