So many altcoin with new technology are coming, we can speculate on so many years
I don't think Ethereum will replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin is more known to the public than Ethereum. I don't think Bitcoin will disappear. Bitcoin will increase in price. The price of Ethereum will also grow up. But can it reach Bitcoin? Maybe not as there is more Ethereum than Bitcoin.
Ethereum can never touch bitcoin price not because there total supply is different it is because bitcoin is prime and first so its popularity is much bigger than any other cryptocurrency and its application are also greater in number.but ethereum will remain second as its dependent project are growing rapidly.

Ethereum is the future of businesses because of smart contracts, as regards to a cryptocurrency bitcoin is the simplest, most secured one. I don't think I will exchange my bitcoins for eth.

You can have multiple winners. Not to mention they have different goals, and some overlap. Whichever one has largest market cap doesn't really matter. Personally, I think there's a good chance the dominant cryptocurrency in 50 years doesn't exist yet.
The blockchain makes digital currency traceable (not fungible) and not scalable. I'm guessing the real winner in digital currency will use cryptography, but won't have a blockchain.

Ethereum has more functionality than bitcoin so there is no reason it can't surpass it in market cap. Ultimately though I don't think they are direct competitors, ethereum is more of a tool for smart contracts and ICO than it is a currency.

Do you mean that the price alone determines whether a thing would be future? I don't think so. There have been so many fuss about this ethereum thing, though I wouldn't deny the fact that it is interesting, but most of the news about it seems to be overrated and exaggerated.

Soon we will see the position of bitcoin at number 2, and ETH is the top one, I really do not like to use bitcoin, long transaction and big cost. Unlike ETH, the transaction is easy and the cost is very cheap

Ethereum is a good coin, but what do you think in comparing ethereum with bitcoin? It's definitely a bitcoin that will win. Even ethereum can not be equated and compared with bitcoin. Bitcoin is already at different levels.
The bitcoin has more deep pocket investors at the moment. But it might split, so it might lose in the long term.
There is a possibility it might lose in the long run but as of now bitcoin is still in its rightful position and the split is just another way of bitcoin to be dominant compared to other cryptocoin. It also is highly impossible for bitcoin to lose its power because it has been there for how many years and a lot of big investors have invested in bitcoin too so I doubt they would allow bitcoin to just lose it. Bitcoin and Ethereum are also incomparable because they have different projects.
