It looks like Ethereum is on a non-stop road towards success as people keep pouring money into it like crazy. With several upcoming upgrades on the Ethereum blockchain, things will only get better for the native "Ether" cryptocurrency. Day by day, I'm tempted to sell all of my ETH holdings for profit. But some are saying that ETH will be worth $5k or even $10k in the future. This makes me wonder whenever now it's a good time to sell or continue "hodling" until ETH reaches the aforementioned price range.

If you were in my position, what would you do? Would you sell all of your ETH during the current bullish market? Or will you "hodl" and wait until it goes to $5k - $10k? Do you think ETH's current prices are sustainable? If not, why? Any suggestions, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Most of the time, the price movement of ETH goes with BTC but it has been clear that lately it wasn't able to follow its footsteps. It would be much adviceable to hodl right now since Ethereum has the potential of growing more this time unlike before. Just like any other investment in crypto, at some point it is much better to hold so that it would keep on growing but be aware of the price movement before doing so. At some point, you need to sell to avoid losing more of your investment but for ETH's situation right now where the value is increasing, it is much better to hold.

This is a purely personal preference. But if you ask my opinion, if you don't need the money urgently, don't sell it. A good future awaits Ethereum. This is totally my personal opinion. It is not investment advice.
Looking at the current condition of ethereum I think it is better to hold on first,
and talking about the future of ethereum in my opinion there is no need to doubt because we know that ethereum is one of the few coins that really have potential in the future,
so we better invest in the long term and stay patient

It is an investment advice to be honest if you've said "don't sell it". I am in the same boat as well, we've seen the rise of Bitcoin to 3x but for Ethereum I think it will not settle on that area, it will be more than that. The alt season I think will still be at 4th quarter later this year, fingers cross.

Looks like the EIP1559 have a good effect on the price of Ethereum in the past few weeks.
With EIP1559 coming, many are expecting for the gas fees to go down. Yes we have seen it go down already but at least we must see it almost the same fees as what BSC can offer so that some projects might return in Ethereum Blockchain instead of creating in Binance Smart Chain.

As for me, I just withdrew a portion of my ETH holdings as my way of taking profits. I'm doing dollar cost averaging on selling. I might be very optimistic but we might see a $5,000 ETH on this quarter. I'm doing both. Selling a portion of my ETH and will HODL a percentage of it for long term. I will just sell so that I have some funds to use in the bear market Smiley.

One of my tactics in cryptocurrency is always to hold, sell only when you are really in short of fiat money, with the exception to immediately sell an assets, after if first has dropped in price multiple times and then recovers.
So far this works and price graphs shows that everything always grows. Maybe this tactics might be inappropriate for someone, but if perfectly works for me. Currently I'm holding most of Ethereum I have.

As the expectation is really high, I think the most logical thing to do is to HODL now. Maybe it won't reach $10k or so very soon but it has the potential to make it there eventually. Maybe in even the next year, we can see it happening.

I think holding am the right choice at this time, because it can has a better impact in the future, especially now that the etherem is still in its infancy, of a course there is still a chance to increase again, I'm a sure etherem will rise to $ 4k in the near future,

3K - 4K dollars is nothing for ethereum and ethereum will be worth above 10-15 K in the mid to long term. If you do not believe in ethereum technology or cannot hold for long term, only then you can sell at the current prices and secure some profits. But if you have holding power, i will advise you to hold it for long term.
Ethereum has always been the leader in the TOP among altcoins. Therefore, since 2017, I have basically hodl it. I think it has a great future and its price will gradually rise. Remember how ETH price  pumped in December 2017 from $426.87 to $823.29.

That's up to you and most importantly what your target is but looking at Ethereum chart I'm positive about 5k per ETH in coming weeks, yes its possible because the most undervalued project is ETH, if BTC can go over 50k easily ETH should be around 10k but I won't aim too high I just believe that 5k is achievable

yeah, seems that Ethereum should be hold until London hard-fork, EIP-1559 should be catalyst for rise at the moment, and London hard-fork will include it in Ethereum platform, which could make ETH deflationary coin, in case of much use, since ETH used to pay fees will be burned in the process
there is no supply cap currently, and will not be supply cap with EIP-1559 either, but burning coins paid for fees could make number of coins decreased with usage increased, which could provide great value

one should do their own analysis, do not this post as financial advise

HOLD, it will be very profitable if you choose this option. ethereum trend is good, price is slowly starting to rise. although fairly slow, but the increase is enough to dominate the market. so HOLD is the best choice, even if you already get profit. but there's nothing wrong with multiplying that profit, so it's still HOLD.

Recently eth began to improve as gas costs began to cheap, the pope began to invest in eth back. And as with the rumors about eth 2.0 is the real news that most people are eagerly awaiting. What do you think of eth 2.0 guys?

Will sell it in part, I will enjoy the advantage of the current bullish market, selling 50% of the eth that I have is not sorry because I can increase hundreds of percent from previous estimates. 50% I will hold to see the development of eth in the future.

I will not sell my ethereum unless it hit $4000. If i am patient enough, $6000 will be my next target.

Selling bitcoin at $4000 will give me approximately x4 of my initial deposit. I want to withdraw some of my profit for other projects as well as to secure my fund. There are many good IDO giving you more than 10 times after investing

If I were in your position, I would sell few Ethereum and buy other best coins from that, and hold rest ethereum. Because now ethereum has high potential to increase a lot in future.

Selling now is the most anticipated decision that we will hear. I may call myself not a greedy person, I'll take this opportunity that to miss it again just like I did before. Now, since it once back to the bullish again and reaching for the new ATH this was really a chance to recover those losses. Of course, I'm not going to sell them all, what I wanted to to secure first my capital, save some, and the ETH left will be held waiting for the upgrade, who knows if the surge will continue.

Ethereum fees now is so expensive mate so i suggest to hold it no matter what happen wherein if it fluctuate so many time just relax.. because its part of the performance in the market.. Indeed there's no way it will end up in a very low price, especially now where the price is too high as well, for sure it will keep the resistance level and still have a chance to excess in the future just put trust indeed this the most trusted projects in the market..

Personally, I will hold ethereum until bitcoin hits a price of $ 100k. I think ethereum prices at that time had become very high. Right now the potential for ethereum is also truly extraordinary. however, I am still trying to own large amounts of ethereum to date. I believe that Ethereum prices could go above $ 4k by the end of the year.
