Sell a few and HODL more.

If you want to sell, don't sell all of it. Take profits but never leave that you're empty with Ethereum. I've already sold a few ETH and it's even under the price of $2k.

I have also the same goal of looking at those high price that you've mentioned that's why I'm still holding more.
If you sell then you have to pay for the transaction fee which is not good if you are looking to earn profit. If wanted to sell why not sell all to save from fee. Well, if you have huge amount of eth then fee is not a problem but for smaller amount then that is the problem your going to face. Well, I use an exchange and also a wallet that let me exchange to xrp and which let me save fee before buying and selling if i'm going to trade.

DEFI is increasing the scarcity of ETH. If ETH fully transitions from POW to POS, it will be necessary to include ETH in the nodes. As a result, ETH will become increasingly rare in the future. According to traders' predictions, the price of ETH will continue to rise until it reaches $ 10,000.

I will say hold it. You definitely should not sell Ethereum
I would definitely jump on board I am very bullish on this.
Just slowly add up to you get one share.
At the end of the year when it's eight or $10,000 you'll think us for taking this advice

It looks like Ethereum is on a non-stop road towards success as people keep pouring money into it like crazy. With several upcoming upgrades on the Ethereum blockchain, things will only get better for the native "Ether" cryptocurrency. Day by day, I'm tempted to sell all of my ETH holdings for profit. But some are saying that ETH will be worth $5k or even $10k in the future. This makes me wonder whenever now it's a good time to sell or continue "hodling" until ETH reaches the aforementioned price range.

If you were in my position, what would you do? Would you sell all of your ETH during the current bullish market? Or will you "hodl" and wait until it goes to $5k - $10k? Do you think ETH's current prices are sustainable? If not, why? Any suggestions, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Most eth have moved from exchange to private wallets. That means many big whales now planning to hold eth for long duration. This is the time to hold as eth is improving fast on technical front and is being widely adopted by various business.
I would not sell before $10k
Switching to private wallets can also be because quite a few people no longer trust exchanges, a lot of investigative information has recently appeared with exchanges, so ethereum being moved out of exchange wallets is more secure, speculating a whale's direction based on wallet address is probably an overly classical scheme, don't get lost in the fog like that. Ethereum may be in a period of improvement but will it be able to resist the mainstream of bitcoin, the pullback is already strong and affects ethereum pretty much

surely I will also sell it when it reaches the target. What are you doing for so long if the current ethereum price has reached the highest price or ATH? I think it's time to sell the long-held ethereum because now ethereum has reached its highest point during ethereum publication.

I guess you have to Hodl it for a time being and wait for proper timing, or sell it if you really need it but if you look for a much better profit I think you hodl it first.. coz time will come the market will rise and that is the good timing to sell it. Ethereum  will surely rise "bull run" if that happen you are blessed.

Ethereum is already looking overpriced. ETH now accounts for close to 20% of the total cryptocurrency market cap and it's valuation stands at around $450 billion. Given the disadvantages such as high transaction fee and lack of scalability, I would say that ETH is looking extremely overpriced at these levels. I would rather sell at least a part of the ETH holdings, and divert at least partially towards other coins such as Cardano, Litecoin and Polkadot. Even Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic looks attractive now.

My suggestion for you is to "hodl" it for sure and 100% sure!
Because this is only the beginning of ethereum bull run and the price of ethereum will be increasing even more. So just hold yourself and do not sell your coins.

I believe in long term investments but i also believe in taking profits along the way and not exposing my portfolio to too much downside, with that said. I would sell some of my Eth occasionally as the price is rising and be taking profits so that when the dump starts i will only have left what i am comfortable to hold. That way i have positioned myself at a place where i can buy more Ethereum at a cheaper price in the future.

Ethereum is one of the best in crypto, selling or holding is good to do most especially you find it profitable. We have different wants and needs, also ideas what best to do. The decision will always at our hands because we are the one who knows what best move to do. Assuming that joining crypto you have the knowledge which is very important.

If i were you, i would sell my ethereum, because this is probably the highest it would reach in this bull market. Sell it then invest the proceeds from it to other altcoins that are still growing and have a lot of potential for good profit.
lol I would agree with it, if the price had reached this high, it would always be profitable to sell it if you hold it since few months ago, why hold on too long, right? Yes, sell it then look at the another promising project, make the circle of your money.

Ethereum has managed to stay strong despite the big declines yesterday. Even this strong stance was enough to increase my confidence in the ethereum. I started to have more confidence in ethereum. In my opinion, ethereum did not decrease very much while everything in the market was falling sharply. If I were an ethereum investor, I would continue to hold.

Its never a good idea to sell ethereum, unless of course, you're a day trader that sees only the short term money. Ethereum and few other coins are for the long haul

Hodl as long as you can. If you do not really need some funds, then hodl it because eth is not yet done with its progress and market trend. Certain price dump is the result of market correction and consolidation. Altcoin season is not yet done so hodl your asset as long as you can.
I hope it keeps the momentum for a while. I'm not making myself being greedy but I was just riding on the market rise, I'll take this opportunity as well while it is still there. And besides, I wasn't in need of money for now. But if it shows some declines, I don't hesitate to sell my ETH, that was my goal now.
That is why I'm closely watching the market chart, keep tracking its movement, and I did this in order not to miss the chance.
Indeed. If based on your TA that eth will fall down, then set some numbers and sell it on that amount then buy again when the market will turn to bearish. In that kind of scenario, all the knowledge that we have in crypto is very crucial. It is either will make us more richer or vice versa.

It’s preferable to hold your ethereum at this moment because the entire ethereum market is at its bull run and at that the market can go in whatever directions, so it’s better to either sell or hold.

My opinion on this is to HODL . With so many DeFi popped up , long term productive asset to earn passive income . Just my two cents and do ones research. Smart contract is a powerful tool to make leverage with in crypto currency.
Also on horizon, there is ethereum 2.0 which might also help a lot in terms of the price for the token. I would personally hold whatever eth I have in my wallet and not going to sell them until I see ethereum 2.0 and how it performs in the market.

The hype is always there now it remains to be seen how it performs. So whatever plans you might be having right now, delaying all of them for some times till the arrival of ethereum 2.0 might get better benefits for sure. At the same time, before ethereum 2.0 arrives, BSC or some other coin may try to be top position for smart contract platform competitions as well. So, being ready to face anything will help.

I will sell half of what I have, the rest I will hold until time grows taller. Moreover, an altcoin like Ethereum is a currency that has great potential and has a lot of interest, which is sure to have a good price in the future.
l think it is so early to sell ETH, that is why ETH price is increasing day by day and it seems it keeps till the end of the year. But it depends on your decision, if you think that ETH is a great price then sell your coins, however, ETH deserves more than this price, for that l prefer holding till the right day. But it would be better to sell some of ETH, but definitely not all of them.

Today Ethereum is down is less dan 4k$, I think if I have Ethereum now and the price go down like this, I will hodl and wait for rise of ETH again then I will sell it. Hopefully Etheruem will rise again this week.
You see every coin dropped so it was not Ethereum alone and actually when I last saw, TRX dropped from 0.145 to 0.11 or something like that. Just hold strong in these times because once we panic the whales take advantage of it.

Do you know how it works? They will short a particular coin and make people panic, you sell and the market drops even further and that's how they earn!

if I personally will definitely to HOLD my Ethereum, because in my opinion the price of Ethereum can still increase very high and I also still to buy Ethereum every month, because I believe if ETH2.0 has been launched, then of course the price of Ethereum will definitely increase by at least $8k, especially if there is a bull run, then of course the price of Ethereum could increase even higher than $10k.
"0" phase of Ethereum 2.0 already launched on 1 December last year. The first phase could launch in the last quarter. To get profit here, we have to wait a very long time. Yes, I also believe that Ethereum will break 10k USD but the last quarter hasn't yet come. OP must have altcoins investment experience, why don't he invest in more profitable altcoins?
