I think it is time to close this thread. Because now is 2019. And we all can see, Ethereum Price was going down a lot in last year 2018

Still, I believe that the price of Ether will go up in 2019. The development team is talking about some changes. I think this will lead to higher prices.
Ethereum has potential to achieve 170 $, because this target is closer as you think. You know, people should be aware of it and don't go in short term trades to catch movement of 5-10 $. I am middle term trader and i think that you have to buy ethereum now and then simply wait once it achieve 170$. Good risk/return
I think it will really increase ,,, we will see every month ethereum increase even though berlahan .. I hope at the end of 2018 can approach Bitcoin can even exceed ... we will see the end of 2018 this ....
no one can predict the development of any crypto currency for sure because that is the nature and progress of crypto currencies depends on investors who like you have confidence in the development of crypto currencies

Reducing the block reward is a move in the right direction. I don't expect any major growth for Ethereum in the next 6 months. The hardfork should cause a temporary wave.
Many people have alignment of interest with the ETH/USD exchange rate. This is meaningless unless these people are doing something to attract additional new capital to ETH.
Even with the block reward reduction, ETH will still require new capital to maintain the ETH/USD exchange rate.

While ethereum has suffered greatly during this bear market ethereum is still one of the coins at the top of the market, the only coin that surpassed it was ripple and even ripple is not that far away and we only need a slight correction in the price for ethereum to claim its position as the second best coin after bitcoin so I am not really worried about the long term prospects of ethereum. After the recent drop it tested the support level of $116-$117 and jumped(15%+) to $131 price level recently.
If it manages to hold this level $116+ and breaks $151+ price level then we might test $200 level in the coming days/weeks.
Bearish Case:
If it doesn't hold the $107-$111 level then it might see price level below $80 in the coming days/weeks.
Overall the recent case of price movements has been "Buy the rumour , Sell the news" example which happen quite often in cryptocurrency.

Never. The year 2018 was over we are currently in 2019 and the current ethereum price is at $120 while the bitcoin price is at $3500 respectively. many people wrongly predict the price of Ethereum at the end of 2018, many think that the price of Ethereum at the end of December 2018 will increase the price higher than the final price of December 2017, but the price of ethereum is very concerned, so there are many investors and traders has been trapped at a high price purchase and until now some people still hold it and expect there will be more increases price again.
