Yes, Ethereum might reach 2 thousand but it will be a long way. I mean the first part of it. In winter 2018 it will be gaining faster and faster.
All the prediction on ethereum price for 2018 in Cryptocurrency market has been wrong. I think the price of ether as at January was already blotted and people were just euphoric to think ether will keep rising!
I believe that this project will be restored and will go up. It seems to me that it's too early to bury such a strong coin. But we must be patient and able to wait.
But in fact here no one expects Ethereum to be buried or die; in fact I do not even think that it can be replaced so easily by some other coin .... who has the time advantage in this area counts a lot (see also Bitcoin).
Sooner or later the market will end up going down and with it Ethereum will also find its bottom and resume its ascent.
Nobody can guess what the price will be in future but Ethereum is not going away. Once market becomes bullish, it will rise and go back to old highs.
I don't know, I don't have a definite answer. But Ethereum shows good dynamics, I can say that it will be more expensive than now.

Well it is okay to be a bit upset with the situation of ETH right now because it has been long we have had a down ETH market. No good sign of recover. So it is rather a good strategy to go for BTC instead of investing in ETH. But keep in mind that ETH is the coin that come a long way in the crypto market and claimed the second position in the market so it is worth holding despite the down position in the market for so long.
As of this day ETH is not on it's best, yet it has a potential to go up. But even the price have potential to increase more they have chances the price decreased so better if you invest only you can afford to lose incase the price decrease you support and you can buy more ethereum
But to buy ETH now makes no sense. The price of it will fall even lower, then you can and buy a little. I think that to 150 dollars he goes.

At the moment ethereum has passed the 1000$ limit. what will happen at the end of 2018. will it passed the Bit coin ?

That price for Ethereum is not that bad considering that Bitcoin is getting priced lower as well.

I do not think everything that says the article is correct and I sincerely hope it is not, otherwise I think that the collapse of Ethereum will bring with it many other tokens, with the risk of leading to a semi collapse of the entire market.
