It is worthwhile to understand for yourself, for how long you want to buy an Ethereum . If calculated for several months, it is worthwhile to wait for the correction of the course.

Im my opinion, ethereum can still boost up to $500 within this year even though the market is not in a good condition and I hope that what happen last year will repeat so that we as investors can cherish soon.
I think if the next fork during Devcon goes smoothly we might get a nice 20-25% rise or so.
However the rest of the market, especially Bitcoin itself needs to come out of the bear market before ETH goes towards the 4 digits again.
Right now most coins are suffering and most are 90% in the red from the all time high.
Who would have predicted that ETH would go from $400 to $1400 as fast as it did last January, nobody. So you can't really predict what will happen in the near future. However keep in mind that ETH went from $400 to $1400 in a big bull market, not a bear market like we have now.
Hence the reason not to sell any coins right now and hold them instead for the future.

I think ethereum will stay stable arround 200 level before ETF news are done. We don't know what the decision will be, if ETF approve it than maybe ethereum will break at $300-400 level but if not Maybe this coin can be fall bellow $200 level.
IMO it is still good to trade on daily but still risky for long term hold investment.

Its almost end of the year and ethereum must admit that in this year, they were a failure. But the year isnt ended yet so there still a slight chance to have a comeback. Some say that theres gonna be a mini bull run happening this october and a great bull run in december. We never know. Cryptocurrency is full of surprises.

Nobody can guess what the price will be in future but Ethereum is not going away. Once market becomes bullish, it will rise and go back to old highs. 
I find it hard to ETH always exceed the BTC, but as the ICO market continues to boom, so will further rise in the price of the ETH, unless countries a total ban on ICO, otherwise the ETH prices would rise further.
