Eth will never take over because it serves a different function and it has its own set of problems. Something new that is a lot better than all of them has to come along to take of the king.
I barley think the this will happen in anytime in the future! The real bitcoin as speak is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins and ETH specially. This trust will always keep building more and more investors and crypto enthusiast in the favour of bitcoin leading to ultimate investment into bitcoin. So you see here, the weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ETH. Im completely in favour with the ETH as good investment but it always comes after the BTC. Its perfect currency for long term investment but I don't think that anyone will ever put it in the first rank and that too after having blessed with BTC in the crypto world.
I dont think so, still believing that bitcoin price will rise up again as expected in this year and we should wait for that. Also haply for the pump of ethereum and its really unexpected to boost it to the value as of now. Maybe it is good if it also reaches $14k or higher than that. the value of the ether in its functionality, the value of bitcoin in its popularity

BTC will keep dominating crypto because many investors are still betting on it without even realising the potential altcoins might have. But that is changing really fast and BTC is losing dominance. Maybe in a couple of years we can see ETH in pair with BTC.
I can't say this is wrong, but the value of bitcoin in terms of an investment tool is different than any other coin. This is coming from its history. Despite all, ethereum's success is constant and it's still growing nicely.
In 2018, I hold more etherium than bitcoin, I also think that the etherium will grow and grow. He just started his ascent to the Olympus.
However, do not forget about other altcoyins, there are still many promising coins that will show themselves in the future. For example AST and COB.

No one can be exact about overtaking bitcoin now but with the potential of ETH I feel ETH may emerge as king very soon.

I believe ETh price will continue to rice and soar , but not to the point of overtaking BTC. That wont happen.

In no way,ethereum would overtake bitcoin.Bitcoin is known world wide and it has gained the trust of people which ethereum has not.Bitcoin has now become the center of attraction.Not every one who knows about bitcoin in this world know about ethereum.It seems hardly impossible for me.

I don't think it will happen in a short time, although the current value of ethereum continues to rise but I think ethereum will not be able to overtake bitcoin within the next 1 to 2 years.

if I think the ethereum will not be able to overtake the bitcoin, because the bitcoin coin its price faster rise in the price of coin ethereum and bitcoin was more demand than ethereum.

Ethereum can overtake bitcoin if ethereum have a lot of investor. If ethereum have a lot of investor, then ethereum have a lot of buy order in market ,then ethereum value can going up and it could be Ethereum overtake bitcoin
it can happen, but today many investors like bitcoin as a land for investment rather than eth. for now btc becomes one of the good coins and eth can only be below one bitcoin level.
The best thing I like most of ETH is the time for a transaction.
I have to wait for 30min to 3h for each BTC transaction, sometime it took 1-2 days. But eth makes this so fast, the longest time for me to wait is just 1 hour so far!

Ethereum can overtake bitcoin if ethereum have a lot of investor. If ethereum have a lot of investor, then ethereum have a lot of buy order in market ,then ethereum value can going up and it could be Ethereum overtake bitcoin
I think that etherium may replace bitcoin, where we know that bitcoin has lost its appeal, and instead the etherium price has gone up, it seems that etherium has a brighter future, especially with the advantages of its smart contract
