i think is no because bitcoin is powerfull coin and the price is very high nad the security bitcoin is great and the popularity of bitcoin is good in trading site.

I think this will not happen, because bitcoin will always remain king! Most likely the place of the ethereum will take another more technological coin!

there are so many ideas about ETH. yes ETH is one of the main cryptocurrencies, some people predicted that it can reach 15k$ on 2018. for example one of the developer of Reddit. but i think it can reach 5000$ this year.

I think so as well, the amount of ERC20 tokens out there and the support should outpace BTC in the near future. Surprised it hasnt already.

We can hope but logically it's never come true. Both are top in the cryptos world but bitcoin is the king. There is a big difference between them in every fields like popularity, demands etc. So I'm not agree with you. 
It will depend on the rise and the increase in the investment in eth and the ethereum in the world. But I think that bitcoin is no longer able to eliminate the ethereum because more and more bitcoins are known and more investors in bitcoin.
Btc is known more to people than ethereum is, when anyone is going into crypto the firstly will meet with bitcoin

Even this topic has been written in the last year, even then there were a lot of facts which says opposite, that Ethereum will never ever overtake and surpass Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the gold in the cryptocurrency, where silver stays so behind at the 2nd place.
If we watch at the history of cryptos, there's no altcoin or any crypto have succeed in overtaking bitcoin from any position. But I think that in the future this is a possible option
Ethereum is a really great altcoin, and there's no doubt about that, but saying that it would overtake bitcoin it's something that couldn't be really possible
