I believe it is possible that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin as No.1 cryptocurrency.
But if Bitcoin can solve its major issues, it might keep its position for a long time.

Where does this information come from? where is the proof? I admit that the ETH can outrun the BTC, but what should happen for this? I think ETH should be released some important update and on its platform should go a couple of hundred ICO.
I know that the etherium has the potential to overcome the Bitcoins, but next year it's too early, it will certainly take more time for etheruem to overcome the bitcoins. Bitcoin has reached this post after a long time and still Bitcoins are popular and well-demanded also by people more trust than bitcoin in the etherium. So the etherium has almost zero chances to overcome bitcoins next year.
This is a very difficult task for the Ethereum - to grow at least 10 times.

I don't think so even if ethereum is starting to pump I don't think it can overtake bitcoin in a matter of 1 year. Bitcoin takes time to get into its place in todays market and I believe even if a huge drop in bitcoin price is happening today people will still trust bitcoin and will continue supporting it. I will just wait and see how bitcoin get back into track and release a much higher value in the coming years
I agree with andanawa ethereum is still very far away and requires a longer process to be able to overtake the price of bitcoin. even to this day personally I still feel optimistic that bitcoin will remain the number one crypto that will still have the highest asset value. Ethereum has really the potential to overtake bitcoin someday but it will take time before that happen. There is a growing interest on ethereum by many corporates because of its open source platform which made it attractive. Some officials of ethereum predicts increase exposure and usage that could lead to tripling the platform value of the second most popular cryptocurrency this year.

The possibility that ETH can overtake bitcoin is very high, but I also believe that it takes time because there are lots of people who believes and trust bitcoin now.
This scenario might change soon if Bitcoin doesn't improve in the near future. People always like feature rich, fast and reliable cryptocurrencies so in the initial days Bitcoin was satisfying all the above needs but now it's kinda far from reach. for me ETH does not exceed the BTC even though bitcoin price has dropped by 50% over last year because its price is gradually increasing and again in the market.

I don't think that this would happen. First of all, Ethereum was not created to be bitcoin's competitor. I have read an article that the founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin and it's co-founder actually created Bitcoin magazine back in 2012. They just saw the potential of the blockchain. If bitcoin rise, so ether will rise and if bitcoin will fall and so is ether. So, there is no chance for Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin. 
I don't think it will happen in a short time, although the current value of ethereum continues to rise but I think ethereum will not be able to overtake bitcoin within the next 1 to 2 years.
Indeed in the crypto world nothing is impossible, ethereum is a coin that has a good future, but it takes a very long time to overtake the bitcoin.

what reasons can make you believe that ETH will be the best beat bitcoin?For me it is too early if et become crypto master, because at the difference of market price is still much different. But ETH has a good prospect of being a bitcoin competitor, but I do not think it's anytime soon.

Very likely so! And there will be new currencies overtaking Ethereum very soon. It's about the value provided. value from btc is lower than what eth is offering currently. However I notice new more functional protocols arising every day, which is very exciting. I like to see so many good new projects like NEO!

Ethereum’s platform is very great and the price is already pumping but I’m not considering that Ethereum will take over bitcoin in the next year. Ethereum is just behind Bitcoin when it comes to market cap and a lot of crypto is based on its platform will see what will happen it the near future.
