As eth is most save and considered as secure investment. So if anyone ask me to buy any altcoin as an investment then I'll definitely pick eth as my favorite altcoin. I think who and you have enough money and you don't want to take risk, that time eth and Bitcoin is enough. But when you wanna more profit from crypto, then you have to add some more altcoins in your list such as bnb, matic or solana.
If they ask me to make a choice on altcoin to invest in this new year, Ethereum will still be my choice because I know that their team are strong team and they are capable to make Ethereum the king among all the altcoins in the market for investors to continue making it for their choice. If you look at the altcoins market very well you will see that Ethereum is about to reach $3k and if it happen this year it will help those of us that are lovers of Ethereum to make another huge amount of profits from the market. I know, we still have some good altcoins in the market to invest and everyone has his own choice to make in the market to invest in any altcoins of his or her choice which I chose Ethereum as my choice this year, what is your own choice in altcoins investment if they ask you to invest again in altcoins?
Do you think I make a good choice this year or I should include BNB so that if one is delaying me in the market, I can try the other one to achieve what I want .
Ethereum is good but if you only invest on Ethereum you can maybe earn but not as big as the investors who invest in different altcoins, it is still you're choice, we have different choice of coins defending on our budget, i also wanted to invest on a top 200 altcoins but im out of funds so i only select whats best coin for me and invest an amount that i can afford to lose, for me ethereum is a good choice but you also need to choose maybe 3 to 4 altcoins to earn more. Do you think I make a good choice this year or I should include BNB so that if one is delaying me in the market, I can try the other one to achieve what I want .

It is true that our judgement and analysis may become wrong. But come on, this is Ethereum and it's the 2nd rank crypto in the market.I know that there have been a lot of top altcoins that have been gone out of the rank but with Ethereum, I don't see that we'd see it close from being removed at that rank. Besides, it's his choice as well and it's not a bad choice to be honest.
I think we should invest in trading the money we dare to lose, money kept for necessity should not be invested in any coin be it Bitcoin or any other altcoin because it can lead to our loss, it becomes impossible to wait for a long time if the necessary money is invested somewhere.

What do you mean by trusting the team? Don't you know that ethereum has been around for more than 9 years! Despite the fact that crypto are risky and the teams are also risky, Ethereum and Vitalik Buterin is the least person that would scam you, there is nothing to fear about the team. They have more update and many things from their road map for 2024 and I think it's a better choice of investment for 2024.
If you are considering ethereum as a primary coin to buy, I suggest you to try coins that are highly groomed by ethereum team as well, I mean projects that are supported by ethereum foundations like the Optimizm, Arbitrum. These projects are well engineered by the ethereum team and are working hand in hand to support ethereum network, they have utility on their own and has on ethereum as secondary layer.

I have tested other altcoins in the market, that made me to think that ETH is the best to invest among the altcoins and their team are doing very well, to ensure they continue handling the second position among other cryptocurrencies because whenever the price of BTC is leading in the market, ETH price will be in second position. The price of ETH investors was waiting to hit in the market before they can sell to make profits, hit the market early this year which is the highest price ETH has reached in this year 2024 that made me to believe that ETH will going to be my favorite project because it has showcased some signs that convinced me in this year to invest again.
I don't use to hodl my coins in a short period of time because it will not give me what I want from the hodling, which is the reason I used to hodl for long periods of time to achieve my goal.

I have investments in Bitcoin and some money I have invested in Ethereum. Although Ethereum rose to $4k this year, the price has now taken a substantial correction above $3.1k. In the current market I am looking to invest some more in Ethereum, I am hopeful that a major bull run will begin at the end of the year when Ethereum will enter new highs in price.

Ethereum is a strong currency and has a good team, but in investing, the larger your market capacity, the more limited the chance for the price to double. Investments of one billion dollars may not move the price, while investing such money in some altcoins may lead the price to explode.
If you want long-term trading, Bitcoin and Ethereum are a suitable choice, but for short-term trading, some altcoins have the opportunity to rise faster.

I like this your reply/suggestion. Investing in Ethereum is very good, reason because they have a strong team but you shouldn't expect a huge profit soon when invest in them because the coin has already been there and it may not skyrocket just like and same thing to Bitcoin it will first fluctuate before it explode and people who invest in Ethereum, Bitcoin don't expect their profit soon, it is seen to be a long term investment though it can be short term depending on the behavior of coin but other upcoming coins can skyrocket so easily depending on the team and their target.
No doubt with ethereum is the best altcoin option for trading or investing, price easily increasing when bitcoin get recovery to higher price and difficult to see with other altcoin if moving up moment. If other altcoin increasing around 2% to 4% when bitcoin price increasing difference with ethereum has moment break out more than 10%, I think its interested side strong recovery from ethereum and make many investor why make ethereum is their main altcoin for trading or investing.
For the next time after recovery from other altcoin, I will focus trader or investing with ethereum because get bigger opportunity take profit and faster recovery with ethereum coins after getting lower price.
definitely among the coin that when it goes down doesn't go down too much its more or less like bitcoin price wise its just that ethereum hasn't reached all time high yet for so long already meanwhile bitcoin has already reached their all time high, really hoping that ethereum would eventually reach its all time high but im just kinda pessimistic that it can be reached near this time. at best probably when bitcoin is already reaching beyond $80k thats when ethereum gonna be reaching all time high.For the next time after recovery from other altcoin, I will focus trader or investing with ethereum because get bigger opportunity take profit and faster recovery with ethereum coins after getting lower price.
as of now, its just a good investment enough but not impressive at all, meanwhile majority of my holdings are all in ethereum making it a big moment for me if somehow etheruem could reach all time high since that'd be great.

honestly saying anyone can do well with coin in the top 100 is a bit stretch even terra luna was among top 10 and fall suddenly collapsing.if its top 10 i think its indeed safe enough, below that, need to monitor the activity of the market 24/7 so we can anticipate if there's sudden flash dump.

OP, you chose ethereum to invest in altcoins which is good. If someone wants to invest in altcoins then he should choose Ethereum as the 1st choice, because the most popular and trusted coin among altcoins is Ethereum. Investing in altcoins is very risky but investing in some altcoins can expect good profits. However, if I was asked to invest in altcoins then my 1st choice would be Ethereum followed by BNB SOL MATIC investing in these coins can expect good profits. I have invested in the coins mentioned above. 
Nobody will argue with you because it is your choice and I believed as you have chosen Ethereum to be your best altcoin, you have not invested in it. If not you would have known what is going on in the Ethereum network. If you buy Ethereum with $100, you will have $50 and the will for transaction fee and the rest. Those who have experienced it in this year will tell you the good story of that. And as for me I will not advise anyone to purchase Ethereum for now because the transaction fee is high.

There is no doubt that ETH is one of the well-established altcoins that can be considered the mother of all altcoins in history today, because most people have seen how it has grown and increased its price value in the market. That's why if I am asked which of the two I will earn more in bitcoin or ETH, I of course know if I will earn more in ETH compared to Bitcoin.
Because when ETH rallies hard, the chances are higher that my capital in ETH will multiply many times compared to Bitcoin because its price is even lower compared to the bitcoin

personally, if i also had a lot of money, i would probably choose ethereum as one of my most frequent investments in altcoins. Unfortunately, currently I feel that ethereum is quite expensive. Even so, I still chose it even though I wanted to invest little by little. I also feel that ethereum is the best choice after bitcoin. For now, I plan to invest in BNB, which also has ethereum-like potential, but is still very affordable.
There is no better altcoin than Ethereum and I think everyone should invest in Ethereum and it's not so expensive yet but in future it will be expensive therefore buy now at a less expensive rate and hold unless it becomes expensive.

yeah! there's a lot of folks are turning to BNB these days because it's cheaper compared to ETH. Either BNB or ETH both have their own advantages. While ETH is considered one of the top coins to have, its price is on the higher side.
