Yes, of course ethereum is always an option as an investment, because ethereum is an altcoin that can meet the economic needs of its holders, personally this year ethereum is a priority investment, because I am very optimistic that ethereum will always grow and be able to provide profits in the future.

yeah! there's a lot of folks are turning to BNB these days because it's cheaper compared to ETH. Either BNB or ETH both have their own advantages. While ETH is considered one of the top coins to have, its price is on the higher side. In my opinion ETH is a good choice to invest in gradually. we can buy small amounts over time and hold onto what we've got.

Says who? Ethereum being the best altcoin this season is misplaced, it is evident with the way many altcoins have behaved already. If it's for it to still maintain the number 2 rank among cryptocurrencies, fine, it may still achieve that. But when it comes to trading, investment and return, then you are not being sincere at all. It's all about the money we make from these cryptocurrencies and I wonder what you have to say about the wonderful cryptocurrencies like SOL, BONK, INJ, PENDLE and many more? I can still comfortably mention 35 coins/tokens that outshined Ethereum and will continue to outshine it.

It is your choice though, but for me, what I can do with Bitcoin and Ethereum at this point is to trade them on the futures market only. Relying on the return they could earn me through investment more than what many other altcoins can do will only amount to a self-deceit.

personally, if i also had a lot of money, i would probably choose ethereum as one of my most frequent investments in altcoins. Unfortunately, currently I feel that ethereum is quite expensive. Even so, I still chose it even though I wanted to invest little by little. I also feel that ethereum is the best choice after bitcoin. For now, I plan to invest in BNB, which also has ethereum-like potential, but is still very affordable.

Good choices op but only ether is not alone what belongs to good and potential altcoins list but There are others potential altcoin in Crypto market. And i think we should also include these for better output. There is nothing bad if you also take advantage from these altcoin along with eth. And Bnb could be the one if you wanna add in your list. Cause we already know that bnb also has potential as well as it's been trending for long after ether. So it could be a good idea to include bnb

Its your personal decision OP. Undoubtedly Ether will be the best altcoin again in this year as well as it continuously developing. That's why i assume, $5k won't be a big deal for ether to grow if  bull run start with its full energy. Even bnb also has potential to grow more. So you can including it in your wishlist if you want. But if you ask me, I'll opt diversification altcoins to take advantage of bull and generate better profit

Not for the fact that I already witnessed what happened, but I would have advised you not to rely on Ethereum alone that time if you must deal with it. Ethereum and Bitcoin would behave almost the same way, I've always known that and that's why I've ended my purchase of them since last year. It is no longer a good investment when the price is somewhat high enough, not that you will still not gain but you should be sure that what you will gain will be little, that's my plight and discouragement. Owning to this, what is the point if there are alternatives that can still behave better? This is now evident with how Ethereum and BNB performed this year already, you should have gained more if it was BNB you opted for, or at least diversify your portfolio with the two.

aside from the massive shill from your statement which is not wrong to be honest, eth is indeed the king of altcoin, but to call it best investment of this year probably is overexaggerating i mean solana is up by 20x right now, ethereum is just 2x even less, but I think its already good enough for investment anyway, seeing that there are pending ETF i expect that ethereum gonna rise and become one of the most profitable investment, i mean the fact that ethereum market cap is far higher than any other altcoin out there even higher than stablecoin with the most market capital there is speaks volume about the well being of ethereum.
but I'm also gonna bet my money on the other coin thats just as good but still underrated, i'm no fool to invest in just one coin for this bullrun, consequently there will be increase in the risk of my portfolio of investment but its still fine for the sake of gaining a lot more profit.

a slight decline is a good opportunity to buy if we are patient enough, whatever price point we get in if at the slightest decline we are already overthinking so much that the market will be doomed, we just gonna make reckless decision of cut loss.

everyone knows that ETH is the best altcoin and investing in ETH is the best investment. ETH has been able to become the king of altcoins for the last few years and I am sure that for the next few years or even forever, no one will be able to beat ETH. But there's nothing wrong if you also invest in other altcoins, especially big altcoins like BNB.

There is no doubt that Ethereum is the best altcoin but it doesn't mean that other altcoins are useless. I like ethereum, the security is 10 times bigger than other later 1 smart contracts blockchain than we have so far despite having many of them as ethereum killer, we haven't had any killer in real sense. However, the speed is something I don't like, too slow for my liking for 2024 to be processing transaction of 15 transaction per second when we have many other than can do 20 times faster than ethereum but the community is just strong and they are very loyal, Solana could have steal that limelight but associating with FTX was their biggest downfall.

Other than the speed, the project remain solid one, the fees is not encouraging. We need to accept that ethereum fees is going to remain like that. Technically, if the fees can be lower than the current level, they would have done so but everyday, the community continue to have branches of layer 2 to support ethereum layer 1 which are always motivated for bridge to lower fees, this is why I don't buy the hype anytime they say Ethereum will have lower fees in the future.

so far ethereum is still the best and most popular among altcoin investors.
The glory days of ethereum until now there are still many who like it.
This means that the idea of ethereum was indeed designed in such a way.
because to survive and have a good reting is not easy

I think there are altcoins that have potential and provide big profits at the moment, you can see gamefi and l2 such as layerzero and zksync which will be released.
You can get benefits there if you enter early.

I prefer altcoins that have potential such as dym, tia, and other ibc, ecosystems that have potential must be paid attention to because they will provide benefits from the start of the project's release.
