Ethplorer as you said checking asset in the wallet . Ethersscan i am using to check the transaction hash or tranasaction status . Yes some time we find value for coins in etherscan but ethplorer doesnt have  . But coingecko is the place we can find the actual value of or dust or depreciated coin value some of the old coins which was not showing in coinmarketcap , ethplorer , Etherscan but i could able to find it in coingecko and sold it .

I prefer ethplorer because it looks elegant to me, and I use ethplorer to check tokens that enter the wallet from airdrop or bounty. And even though tokens in ethplorer have no price even though the original already exists, it doesn't matter to me, I can check directly to the token group, maybe there is good news besides the token has a price

Blockchain explorers are the same, they will display or give same result but only in different details, etherscan and ethplorer are no difference, only results are shown differently, what you are going to be left choosing for is details or website interface
The problem that has already discussed is about which one from both are much more accurate in term to calculate the token price. the topic starter has already noticed if some of his crap coins worth a lot of money while CMC shows it has zero value.

I have been using Ethplorer for a long time. I thought to check my wallet. This is the best way. Unfortunately, I didn't get Etherscan for the first time. Still, I have a problem with the scrolling list of altcoins in etherscan. I have to use a bar to scroll altcoins list. The rest of the features of etherscan are very nice to me, especially the etherscan interface.

l use also ETHplorer to check my balance without logging in to my wallet. But to tell the truth, l have read about that through your topic, l have never faced such a problem. There is not any price difference between them. Maybe you are right, however, l have not seen such a situation.
I think etherscan also doesn't need to go into the wallet you are using and in my opinion both etherscan or ethplorer platforms have the same function to see all the total assets in your wallet, it's just that for etherscan I think it's clearer because it integrates directly with several places exchange so that it can bring up the possibility of a valid price.

I'm using Ethplorer to check my wallets and track my tokens if the token I waited coming from bounties have finally arrive in my wallets, I have so many shit tokens in my wallet that are sitting in my wallets for years but I notice that some coins do not have value in Ethplorer whereas in Etherscan they have value, did you also notice that, which of the two are you using to check your wallet.

I use etherscan for tracking my wallets. Although, I've used ethplorer couple of times but to be candid, etherscan is has more functionalities than ethplorer like you mention yourself, the price tracking of etherscan is really acurate and it cover quite a lot of different tokens. There other features etherscan is having over ethplorer

Most of the time I use Etherscan because it is faster and takes less time to load. I like Ethplorer a lot, because it is visually well organized and arranged with more details info of transactions. But at my PC Ethplorer works a lot slower here and takes some times to load fully. I use Ethplorer less because of lagging only.

One of the reasons why i do choose etherscan over ethplorer on which into its loading difference. Ethplorer details is better but due to very slow loading which i do easily get irritated then

i do decide to make use of much more faster one like etherscan. It might not really be that as good in terms of information display compared to Ethplorer but at least this one do still do the job.

Its just a matter of preference though yet ive known some people who do constantly make use of Ethplorer.

I'm using Ethplorer & Etherscan at the same time. But it has a lot of perks & cons, Etherscan has friendly-user-interface which has more common value coming from our bounties/airdrop tokens. In the other hand, Ethplorer is kinda dull and other stuff, (I am pointing out some of shit coins) which has no value every time you check it on after all.

I only use Etherscan since it was built-in along with MetalMask addon when you want to check your address's transaction. I also like the Etherscan website's layout more than Ethplorer and as you said, Etherscan is more speedy to recognize tokens or even flag scammer's address.

I am familiar with Etherscan's interface, I have used it for many years and am completely satisfied with it. Sometimes I also use Ethplorer to see the price of the token
Only a few years ago I used both sites at a time to check the difference and interface. Now I can't remember the last time I used Ethplorer. The Etherscan interface is more friendly than Ethplorer. In etherscan it is very easy to check with huge ERC-20 tokens.
Well Etherscan's interface is quite good compared to Etherplorer in my opinion because this display is quite simple but can display with everything that is friendly so from I think many people use Etherscan to see tokens and better prices.

Both platforms = same purpose
However, etherscan serves better with blocks identification, transactions including a broader view of the entire blockchain plus other functions like tracking, search, etc. Ethplorer on the other hand comes with less feature and a narrow usage

I like from Ethplorer can see the smart address with that we can enter into exchanges like forkdelta to sell the token for the issue of value, sometimes there are irregularities, but that does not happen to every token that comes in there may be an error

Although both options are the best service in their field, I don't think there is much difference between the two. As a person who has only used Etherscan until today, of course, my preference will be in this direction, but since I have never used the other option, I cannot comment on it positively or negatively. As someone who used Etherscan and just read a few comments about Ethplorer, I would like to say that everyone can choose either or both of their services within their habits. As a result, both services are two alternatives of their respective fields, and both services are preferred by millions of users.

I prefer using etherscan rather than Ethplorer because it give you an accurate reading of your coins, like what is the current price of a certain coins likewise with what ethplorer does but not as much as what etherscan can give you. But both are useful though they have different kind system reading your eth wallet.
people might already be familiar with etherscan. Well, I myself have made etherscan very often to rarely check assets through Ethplorer. although Ethplorer is always used as an alternative, but at this time, etherscan has fulfilled almost all the needs to view information from altcoin ERC20.
