I use Metamask too One of trust ETHEREUM wallet, be sure to keep your private key and you need to manage your wallet address and separate them, It's like Electrum of bitcoin. If i were you create different wallets so that hackers will having a hard time to reach your wallet.

It's more secure but based on some article that I've read and information that I collected it said that you need to have a pc that has no virus or malware which means that there is no , or there must haven't a virus or some spyware or a keylogger. So yep still myetherwallet is secure though , just protect your private key.

I think metamask is safe to use as i haven't seen any posts before complaining about their service . It is used to put extra security to your wallet, they private keys are kept in metamask so that third parties can't access or steal the key.

there many wallet for ETH. one of them is meta mask and other one that produce the wallet is MEW. but i trust MEW and not other wallet exept Ledger
