Yeah depends if you like centralization or not.

Tbh I don't really get why so many people like ripple, it's pretty much a bank-coin and i don't really trust them.

Ethereum is decentralized that means it is included into blockchain technology but ripple is not a coin because it is centralized and can not connect to blockchain technology it was created by Bank. Eth is considered as safe investment crypto currency. Ethereum has good future became it has smart contact and potential project for growing up. From my point of view I like Ethereum more than Ripple.

Better to choose ethereum, because ethereum is very popular and the price will continue to increase, ripples are also good coins, but ripple price increase is too slow.

Invest in both. Ethereum is the second largest altcoin in market capitalization, its price is rather stable, if not wrong is legalized by at least one government, also ethereum blockchain technology is widely adopted by many developers for use in many applications. Ripple is widely used by banks' customers for efficient digital fund transfer through many blockchain based applications developed by Ripple Inc. Both are suitable to be held as long term investment.

I will go for Ethereum because Ethereum is the second coin that has a good value in the cryptocurrency unlike ripple.
As far as I know, Ripple has a lower value than Ethereum because Ripple's price is controlled by the financial institutions.

The Ethereum blockchain network is more advanced than that of ripple not only because it has lasted longer than ripple but rather because it has the greater number of participants hence the information distributed is mare wide which decreases the chance of any fraudulent activity to occur.

If it is a long term you will obviously choose Ethereum because it has a proven smart contract and DAPP while Ripple is not yet been used by bank like what they promised. One thing I don't like with Ripple is it is a centralize coin and can easily rekt you when the greedy bankers decided to dump their Ripple to get profit.

My reason to invest in ripple would be the fact that its blockchain network is dependent upon its sole valuation whereas when we see ethereum, its value is dependant upon itself its market capitalization and also the altcoins it supports which adds up to the fluctuation in its value making it a risky investment.

I like both ethereum and ripple but if I am to choose between the two I would pick ethereum. I think ethereum is widely use and patronize by most of the investors. Some ICOs also preferred ethereum over other altcoins.

Ethereum looks like a good bet for a couple of years but ripple will go much further than expected. Definitely a good coin to buy and hold for now, in a couple of years it will be worth a lot

Blockchain with solar energy

both are big coin, so you never lost when invest in that 2, if you know nothing about crypto currency, just buy and hold it.
if you know more about market, i think you should do some research about other coins and invest small amount in those project.

in my way, I never got in to XRP, can't find any interest
