Banks use Ripple only for remittances. However, ripple is a short-term coin, because it can be good profits if you work less time with ripple or do other things, because ripple coins are a lot of good coins, that means, supplementary coins.And eth is a long time for long time, if eth can be hold good profits can be expected.So ripple and eth two coins are expected to be good profits. Eth is always the best eth we hope is a good profit in the future.

Ethereum is good for long term even in short term investment. It will make you have a big profit to it if you invest and hold. While ripple is like recovering its lose potential but it will be good for a long term effect. Both are potential and good just hold and believe.

There is no doubt that BTC is the king of encryption. The price of altcoin is determined by BTC, so if BTC does not exist, then altcoin will also die.

I advise you to invest better in eth than in ripple. ETH is a more promising and reliable coin.

I am not a big fan of Ethereum, but if I need to chose one between ETH and XRP, then I would chose Ethereum. Ripple looks like a scam to me, and it is supported by quite a few of the major banks and fraudsters. Ethereum is not perfect, but at least it is better than Ripple.
Ethereum is a good altcoin when compared to the other. Therefore invest on ethereum would be much more promising than the other altcoin. 
ethereum is a good altcoin, almost ICOs running here are based on ethereum that's why it value wont disappear, unlike ripple, its price may dump at any moment because it is manipulated by some people who has the power to make its price move like a puppet.
Both good coins. But I think, between ripple and Ethereum, ethereum is best at all times. Ethereum's price is rising and stable. Ethereum's future is much better.

Yes you are right with that but I suggest you must choose Ethereum especially if you will go for long term hold because it's much greater than ripple really greater. But if you really want ripple I must suggest you go for margin trade on it that's much profitable trade on ripple. Do your own search about margin trade and go for ripple or bitcoin and for your long term go for ethereum. Goodluck. I doubt that the ripple will be able to rise above 1.2-1.4 dollars. Unlike it, the etherium can cost several thousand dollars. But this is only under very favorable conditions.
