A lot of intereting games tonight, though I'll be watching the Roma vs Real Madrid. Looking forward to see how we react after the disappointing performance this past weekend against Eibar, that could've been a wake up call for the team, a win is a must today.

Juve vs Valencia, I think the italians will snatch the win tonight, Valencia has been so incosistent so far this season. And Lyon vs Man City, should be a walk in the park for the citizens.

The good games are tomorrow with Liverpool and Tottenham being the strongest games. Many people predict that PSg will win but I have doubts about that, I think it would be a draw here and both in Tottenhame game. One thing I am sure though is that there will be goals in both games from both teams so I am betting on both games btts and over 2.5 goals in my favourite sportsbook sportsbet.io .

^  Parlays are fun as long as you know they're a sucker's bet.  If you keep doing them then you're definitely gonna lose money in the long run.  It's much better to do props than parlays imho.

Agree, I do them every weekend any way though just for fun. I had 4 lower league games in England on Saturday as both teams to score, Man Utd to win & Liverpool to win.
It all came in except those wankers Man Utd who drew vs C Palace. That 0-0 cost me £188 from a £10 stake.

Any way tonight should be fun, I’m predicting -

Bayern vs Benfica - Home win
Lyon vs Man City - BTTS
Roma vs R Madrid - BTTS
Juve vs Valencia - Home win
Man U vs Young Boys - Home win

I feel a bit embarrassed about doing parlays after you dissed them but I’ll possibly do the above in one tonight Wink

Most fascinating group to me is group with LFC PSG and Napoli
PSG -LFC will be to be or not to be game
PSG need to win deadly on other hand of LFC will lose than they will have problem
I hope Napoi will win easy against Red Star even Napoli was below form in his last Serie A game
It has been told if Bayern will not win his game than Kovac will have to move away

As a Liverpool fan I’ve worked this out -

Liverpool beat PSG - we qualify with 1 game spare
Liverpool draw with PSG - We will need to beat Napoli by any score in final game to advance
Liverpool lose to PSG - Need to beat Napoli by 2 clear goals in final game (assuming Napoli beat Red Star tomorrow).

I have 2 tickets for the Napoli game. If we need to beat them by 2 goals we’ll do it. Nothing beats Anfield for atmosphere on a big CL night. Man City & Roma crumbled last season, Napoli will too.

This group is most interesting especially after Red Star won last match over Liverpool. Hopefully this group will be decided in last game but I agree if PSG lose the game they will be in very bad position cuz they are one of the team to win this year Champion League.

week 5 for champions league, in group H Juventus vs Valencia and Manchester United vs Young Boys. Valencia must win to keep their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages. in group G Roma will host Real Madrid, maybe this only determines who will win the group.

The group H is a very interesting group if Valencia are to loose than Manchester United are through in the next round, however if Manchester United slip and Valencia wins i don't think people will be surprised. I do expect Juventus to win this match, considering they lost to Manchester United in champions league they would want nothing but an victory. Real Madrid must win this match not only to be on top of the group, but to save their managers job too.

I think all bets are suckers bets if you look at it this way. I actually generally only bet on one single team throughout a season or competition, or bet one one or two long parlays per stack of games. But that's strictly because I don't expect to profit in the long run.

If I do go for singles, its never below 2/1 but I'm a sucker for extreme underdogs and competitions like Champions League or Europa give good opportunity for that, mostly because teams are playing against unknown opposition and unknown variables... Less predictable than standard league fare. Man Utd last time out against Juve at 6.66? Or Lyon today hosting City at over 7/1? That's my kind of sucker bet=p

The worse for me is to always bet on single outcomes where it's less than 2/1. People tend to double up on losses like that. Or you end up trying to get 66% accuracy which, as tipsters can tell you, isn't easy with odds above 3/2.

Very few people I have seen to win considerable amount in a parlay and when they do win such sum it is usually a large amount of money as a bet involved.

Especially in Europa League you rarely can hit a parlay, just check at how many team that are rated as favourites with low odds you see making you lose your ticket.

In some strange event of unimaginable luck I have seen people with 1 dollar to win about 2000 dollars but this is not because they are professionals, it is just because of luck. I have seen this happening at a lotto coffee near my neighbour and everybody was talking about it.

Love it, the guy knows exactly what he's doing. He knew that by doing stuff like this he would draw all the attention to him, everyone would talk about what he did instead of actually talk about how bad the team played (they didn't derserve the win, but that's football). Mou knows how to handle the press, props to him.

Not this time.  I think that was pure awkwardness coming from Mou due his nature and the inability to 'not react' in situations like these.

Mou def doesn't fail to entertain tho.  Grin

Classic you're not singing anymore surely?

You forget how many teams are in the early stages of the EL until you look at the fixtures, it’s ridiculous. Always an opportunity to make a little money though.

Parlay -

Leverkusen, Arsenal, Milan & Chelsea to win

This is very hard now days, example to be for this last encounter is lost of Liverpool from Red Star in Belgrade. They were favorites with average quote 1.17 and they lost.Nothing is 100% sure in CL and EL for betting its always 33% that you win single bet.

Why is it so surprising that champions league first round has a lot of teams, almost all countries from Europe send a team to it, a lot of countries send multiple teams as well, it is not shocking that there are 32 teams, not to mention there are first rounds where teams play each other to get into that 32 team spot as well, not all positions are guaranteed, some of the teams have to play each other during summer as well which could be considered champions league if you want to.

Some teams are not good enough to be there and plays only because they have the rights but honestly from ending of a season to start of the next teams can become much better or much worse depending on how they did during the summer. Sometimes they lose key players and sometimes they sign one and it can make the worlds difference. Just look at real Madrid.

Arsenal couldn't break down defences at home, so yeah, I got screwed on my parlay too (though Leipzig's "shock" loss to Celtic did me over anyway). Been good riding for Rangers and Gerrard, while not so for Celtic and Rodgers, up until last night. Rangers were really unlucky though, they probably gave Spartak a few jitters, score was even 3-2 at half time already. At least Rangers aren't whipping boys anymore under Gerrard. They just need a consistent goal scorer (ignoring last night's 3 goals, of which 1 was an OG). I think 1 more win, hopefully, and they can progress.

My early pick Bordeaux finally registered a point but I think it's too late for them. Even if they win next 2 games, which they must for any change, they must hope Zenit also wins their 2 games.

Olympiacos Piraeus would need a win against F91 Dudelange today in the Uefa Europa League in order to stand a chance to progress to the next stage, F91 Dudelange is not a strong opponent and since Olympiacos Piraeus would have the advantage of playing this match in their home stadium, I believe Olympiacos Piraeus will be able to beat F91 Dudelange easily in this match.

Real Madrid totally demolished Viktoria Plzen today by scoring 5 goals against them, it have been a long time since I saw Real Madrid playing alike this after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Great win, but nothing to be excited about, we beat arguably one of the weakest teams in the CL group stage. At least is good to know that Benzema seems to be recovering his form.

Real Madrid have started to rise, they won 5-0 over Plzen, Napoli shared the numbers with PSG. and what is surprising is that Juventus lost to Manchester United at home, given Juventus's good performance in the domestic league while United are trying to rise in the domestic league. yes, champions league always presents a big surprise.

manchester united in local league is nothing
this season can't compete with city, chelsea and liverpool
and meet juventus only lucky can win, goal injury time and own goal bonucci

Like it or not this is football now. I stop watching this game moment before first goal from MNU. Then this morning read in papers total comeback from MNU and to see they won match left me shocked.
Didnt think it was possible cuz they didnt know much and Juve control the game and ball most of the match.
