LAUNCH APPROACHING
Its 2 days before launch day. A good time to address some community questions i got
since announcement via PM and Telegram. Some questions may not be new and may already be answered for some of you,
but to make things easy for everybody i will answer them once again. Also let me iterate what will be ready and available
on launch day and what is about to come (is in the make) for the weeks after.
On Launch Day
- On launch day you will have access to the swap portal, to test and to exchange ERC into eu63 and vice versa.
- A decent tutorial how to handle the process and a decent responsiveness here on Bitcointalk, to handle issues.
- A new paperwallet to store the Tokenś
In the weeks to come
- Ledger integration (already in alpha state)
- Wallet integration
- ATM deployment in Europe
(ATM's are ready to go, we are searching locations, offers to host one are welcome)
- compliance documentation to restart talking to Bittrex,
(because yes we and Bittrex did not forget about that)
Community questions:
where to store my tokens?
As a start we will offer a paperwallet, knowing, that this is the worst option as a tool for payment. That is why we are developing a
wallet integration and we are almost done, developing ledger integration for EUROPIUM. The paperwallet is anyway also highly needed
for the ATM usage.
what is the token for?
Its a layer to unify different coins, to make it more easy for payment, banking, ATMs and merchants to implement support for those coins
and to bundle altcoins forces, to make adding attractive enough for those. Also this enables us to work as a central agent, to negotiate such integration.
for many coins at once, instead of each and every coin having to pay or to pray for integration.
Additionally it makes integration and support of many coins more easy for our own services, starting with our own:_
- ATM fleet (ready to go)
- full compliance toolkit and certification for each and any coin. (ready to go)
- banking services (in compliance process)
- Financecloud API (in development)
- Financecloud Device (prototype2 state)
- Hotel Booking integration (already on the way ... WATCH OUT)

its a joined effort of a forked BTX team and the EUROPECOIN team, to provide a framework for Coin integration / tokenization,
with included infrastructure and compliance features

Fresh poll to assess communities token needs ...
to scale up right and to do some planning there is a new poll (on top of this thread).
to give everybody a full picture let me summarize our token facts:
- tokens are unifying different coins to take part in a single service or payment protocol
- different to others we are sporting an additional "agent", who takes care adding more functions and protocols
- also different to others we are not destroying coins but we lock them, to make the swap reversible at any time in need
- this token layer will be part of the FINANCECLOUD API unification layer inside the FINANCECLOUD DEVICE

Europecoin Token for the Financecloud API unification Layer
(and so much more ....)
Hello my friends. Today i'd like to (re)announce the launch of our new Token layer, tell you about our first big investor and
of course let you know what happened to me, causing this delay. But step by step:
1) EUROPIUM [eu63]
I already described this before, but lets summarize it again. Europium is the Europecoin Token inside of the Financecloud/BTXM Multicrypto Unifucation Token Layer.
This Layer serves the purpose to unify all Cryptocurrencies into a single interchangeable Layer and to Bridge them into payment providers, exchanges, banking services,
the Financecloud API and more.
What is it for?
When it comes to services, like payment, exchange, sales or banking, providers are facing the problem,
to have to address each and any coin separately, because they are all different. This makes them to just choose a few popular ones, to reduce their workload.
A tokenlayer unifies all of its membercoins and makes adding more easy. Also does a tokenlayer bundle the power of its membercoins and provides more weight,
when it comes to negotiations with service providers. Hardware developers will appreciate the ease of adding just a single layer,
to be able, to support a large number of coins in a single step
Who benefits?
- services can add multiple coins in a single integration step
- coin maintainers can focus their development, while the tokenlayer takes care of service adoption
- crypto communities can enjoy a broader usability of their favorite currencies
What else?
A payment layer doesn't make any sense without a decent infrastructure. Most other token layers are lacking the needed infrastructure.
The reason is very often, that there isn't any entity particular in charge for taking care of such.
This results in each and every member of the token layer to hope "others" are getting stuff done.
Therefor our layer has an own organization just in charge of taking care of our infrastructure.
Its developing ATM.S, vending modules and in joint venture with us, the FINANCECLOUD API and leads the negotiations with service providers.

2) Investment
very very very first timers in Europecoin may remember this name. These guys invested in Europecoin in the very very early times , shortly after
my takeover. The CEO is a former customer of my marketing business and also a very old friend. He still holds his Europecoins and had an eye on us
ever since. He now agreed to kick off the startup with us. Contracting will be anounced as soon as we finished our plannings.
Let me point out that there could not even remotely any better partner than him. Despite of the fact, i like like him, he has the ability to help much much more,
than just investing.
- he is used to start successful companies from scratch and we will benefit from his experience
- he is in the development business (and guess what, they are also running a new company specialized in voiceassistance)
3) what was my silence about?
2019 was a year with many challenges for me and if this wasn't enough, my digestive system totally broke down in November. In the following weeks i have been at any doctor,
you possible could have imagined until my kidney gave up and i ended up in hospital. In the hospital they found a virus, that turned out to not respond to any drug they tested.
In January i luckily overcame that beast .... yeah that was it

It appears that Mathias is unwell at this time and so has been unable to communicate with the community for a while. He will return when fully recovered, which I'm sure we all hope will be soon.
Rest of ERC team still working on 'token layer' in meantime.

Well last week I spoke with Matthias on the phone. He re-did the Europecoin website which I find quite nice now and we talked about financecloud. Due to an update from Mycroft he finally could resolve one of our biggest problems with the tensorflow engine. Mycroft had a huge bug there they did not fix for a long time because theynput too much effort in their hardware devices propably. In fact work on Europecoin and financecloud is still going on, although we all, including me, would wish to have half the challenges and double the staff. But it is like it is and I personally still see my decent Europecoin-stock as my biggest hope for my future...

Well he didn't... I guess he isn't "fully recovered" since he hasn't posted anything, but at least he's well enough to tweet on his personal Twitter account. I don't want to make light of his possible unwellness, but come on.... this is really starting to smell rancid - once again.
