Checked the demo, it's cool you use Daft Punk as a reference.
I know that a lot of ticketing services crash down when a huge artist of event opens up ticketing.
How will you be able to handle huge traffic with a blockchain delay?

HAIL THE KING!
I have also some questions regarding the post ico process:

  • What will happen with unclaimed and unsold tokens?
  • Are there already ongoing negotiations with bigger exchanges
  • Is there also a fixed date when tokens will be distributed?
  • How to add EventChain as a custom token to my Ether wallet? (Adress, decimals)

I just checked the alpha, it's simple, practical and handy. Maybe you can make some improvements on the theme.

But i know it's alpha, and there is too much differences will be make in future. But for now i can call it, a good start.

A similar project has seen huge appreciation by investors and since the industry is very big so there is much more space for healthy competition for many projects. This project can provide alternative space for those interested to invest in this area of expertise. You main focus seems to be on sports events like soccer that is big thing.

That graphic is very useful, thanks for sharing.

So main difference is america vs. europe. In ticketing business i will go for America. Much more activity so much more opportunity.

America is much bigger in case of ticketing.
Look at those big sport events where millions are watching and buying tickets.

EventChain will be bigger then Aventus!

True with America, but Europe has also a big soccer culture. But beside that, sports are a small business here.
On the other side, in Europe, especially in Germany (don't know about other countries here in Europe), you have a big concert and festival culture, where a lot of blackmarket tickets get sold.

As both projects are focusing on different areas both will probably also go for a different main market Smiley Anyways, it's good to start in different regions.

Because of they are aiming for different market, it doesn't make them main competitors, maybe in future if they achieve their maximum in that continents, they go for expanding. At that point they would be competitors. So at this point, no need to worry.

By the way a correction in europe we don't call it soccer, it's football Smiley

I am from Europe Tongue But I don't like to call it football, because it get's confused with American Football Shocked

Is there any fee that you charge for the platform? I don't see it mentioned anywhere.

what's different between Eventchain and Aventus? in my point of view i think Eventchain is big project more then others. also big team. looks very professional.

Here is a nice graphic that gives you the difference between Eventchain and Aventus

Very nice article you can check out:
https://cryptocanucks.com/blockchain-event-ticketing-industry-head-head-eventchain-aventus/

Eventchain plans to raise 3.5x more funding which in my opinion is due to the potential of scalability in North America. Europe will have cross border regulations where progression will be slow and additionally the event attendance numbers are much larger in North America due to professional sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA & NHL. The future is bright for Blockchain and we are excited to see what is yet to come.

Thanks for linking the comparison at https://cryptocanucks.com/blockchain-event-ticketing-industry-head-head-eventchain-aventus/ that really cleared a lot up for me and saved me time of making the comparisons myself  Grin

Like the article says, adoption is key and in that respect EventChain has a leg up. Easier to market to North America then all the different countries in Europe. Not to mention that a larger portion of the tokens will be will be sold during the token sale, that is good for investors,

Anybody know what will be done with the leftover tokens if the cap is not reached? Will they be burned?

Wonderful, i saw the video, and I'm really surprised of that taking place, we really need a player that can be fair, decentralize and trustless, and the blockchain will definitely give us a solution, I'm checking out this ICO, EventChain is a very promising investment, considering the selling tickets are a multimillion dollar market, so we hope you surpass that Viagogo in its own game.

tokenchain, maybe this idea will kill retail ticket sales in the future.
transparency of blockchain will help this project to grew up, and every body can buy ticket with lower fee.

at the very least it will provide competition, and that is sorely needed in this market.
