Turning a hobby into a business sounds so fun! But I bet it has its challenges too.  What did you do for fun that you managed to monetize? I wanna hear all about how you went from hobbyist to entrepreneur!

Tell me, what struggles popped up as you worked to turn your passion into a profit? How did you push past them? Got any pro tips you can share to help other hobby lovers try to make it big? I love hearing stories of folks who bet on themselves and won.

if there's an hobby I will vouch for anyday and wish that I could easily monetized or create a carrier from, it will definitely be football. I loved and and invested a lot of my time into it at an early age but because it was rather too competitive to secure a spot in my locality through it, I hard to push it aside and face things I was a bit certain will pay off financially in the long run. It's not as though trying to monitize what you're passionate about is bad or that you can't make it from it, alot of people have created fortune out of what they are passionate about but the ratio between those that end up being successful at it and others that don't succeed through it is too small and you can't bet your future for that.

Another thing is that even after you've created a carrier out of what you're passionate about, you would still have to work your ass out and put in effort to become successful at it. At the start, your passion and love for the craft might just be enough to start with but in some way along the line, you will get to know that it's no longer about being passionate about what you're doing. You will be required to put in the required effort that will keep you always relevance in the industry you're into.

This is how the majority of businesses are likely born. If you have a passion in something then it feels less like work and more like fun, so you can be willing to go the extra mile in the project. I know a mountain biking enthusiast who was always trying out lots of new gadgets and then decided to start importing products he likes in bulk, now he's making a lot of money every month by reselling these products on eBay. You definitely do have to become a jack of all trades when you're doing small scale businesses like this and he puts in long hours on top of a regular 9-5 jobs, but he enjoys doing both for now. Due to the heavy nature of the product and the fact he has it local, he can also beat overseas sellers on price most of the time.

But there are times that people cannot stand to pursue what they like to do in life since there are certain obligation that need to take care on. That's why they sacrifice their passion and find something that can give them fast income because they can't afford to have delays since they have stomach to feed. That's why lots of people suffer from poverty because they have no choice but to work on the job that they didn't like.

That's why young adults doesn't have obligation its better for them to  think about their future then work with their passion since its hard to do it when the reality strike into their face and they can't do something so act early before its to late and regret later on your decision that you take life so easy that's why now you suffer so much from poverty.
actually the job that has been obtained must be accepted, because there is a cycle of life where there is income that is obtained which of course helps us economically even though it may be small in scale. now we have the desire to work in a certain field, of course everyone has a desire but not everything will go according to our own wishes. it is rare for someone to have the desire to work in a certain field and he managed to join that field. that's just a lucky person, but is this a matter of prestige?

poverty is not something that cannot be changed, however basically we have to work to get income which is a must because survival certainly requires income besides our circumstances can also change if we already have a stable income and good money management. with a young age of course must be able to work hard by one of them preparing for the future, because it is impossible for anyone to want a future that survives in poverty. is that right friend?

This varies between countries as to what the players can turn into profits or not. In the US there are these gaming groups which are paid well because of their performance and they are taking part in every tournament out there, I am sure you have heard of such groups or seen them online.
Did you mean those who play e-sports? Because you are right USA indeed has the most esports players in the world. It is followed by China playing in second and Brazil coming home in third.

I think we can all agree on the fact that turning a passion to a profession also needs the right circumstance, otherwise it just remains a small time hobby.
Whether that passion of yours is recognized in your country or not will matter especially if you are not that rich to begin with and you need to go to other countries to be recognized.

Everyone must have a goal in life so that each of us will know what we really want so we know in what direction we will work towards it without having to follow other people. Although most people still see the traces of people who have been successful in certain fields in order to get more money and economic freedom in their lives. But in terms of oneself, of course everyone must know what they want and how to try to get what they want because it is very impossible for someone who is still alive but doesn't want anything.
Having a goal in life is of course very important in order to be able to choose the direction of life that we will live and to be able to achieve it of course we have to be able to try to get what we want and it would be better for us to stick to our own choices and not follow other people who are not necessarily suitable.

Indeed, there is no harm in following in the footsteps of those who have been successful and we try to follow them, but we must first understand well whether this is appropriate for us to imitate or not and we also have to look at the abilities we have so that we can only follow half of them. and not being able to finish what we have started will certainly be very detrimental to ourselves.

What you say is very true, it is impossible for someone who still has life to not want anything, of course they have a desire that they really want to achieve and of course they will try their best to achieve it.

Ever since I was in High School (secondary level), I always play games particularly online MMORPG games. It has been that way even though I graduated in college already, but lack of time, and priorities shifted me to another genre of games which is MOBA because MMORPG games are so time-consuming (at least on my part) especially those who needs grinding to get a powerful item.

When I see different people earning money through playing games, I've always wanted to do the same as well, but becoming popular in the world of streaming is very hard because it's very saturated. There are many people doing it already and becoming popular is hard nowadays. Struggles? Becoming popular is one reason that's why even though you're very passionate with the one that you're playing, you can't even make money off of it because you aren't that popular. We know that streaming can give lots of money especially to those games, right?

Until now, my dream is still a dream. No progress at all, but I'm not giving up on that. I've always wanted to be a popular streamer. I will not stop playing whatever happens.

You do know that you can still record your games and put them on somewhere like TikTok, right?

You don't have to spend a huge amount of time making a Youtube setup, when all you have to do is turn on your screen recorder and play as you normally do.

I said Tiktok instead of Youtube because it is much easier to monetize your account over there, there are no bureaucratic partner program applications, and of course it's got a larger viewership.

Obviously you'll have to trim your games to fit the 1 minute mark but that will make even more videos for you.

Much easier than trying to be a streamer on Youtube or Twitch.

That is the key there, as long as you are happy and having fun then why not? And if you read what other successful entrepreneur says, that is passion, the love to what they are doing and in turn making them a lot of money as well.

While I do think that I am still far at some players that already reached international level, I am quite satisfied with my progress given that I only do this as a hobby and not as my main source of income. Still, however, this kind of opportunity is definitely a blessing that I would forever cherish.

Game/music/movie/even adult content reviewers do publish their blogs, if possible videos on youtube and all make a decent money out of. Of course that needs to grow and dedication, without these two traits, nothing can be achieved.
I think for someone who aims to turn his passion into profits, that is still quite a lot of working. You are not doing it only for yourself but this time the whole crowd is already involved, so yes, you need a lot of dedication and patience for you to make it work and grow. If you lack that, your hobby will always be a hobby, nothing more than that.

However, there’s nothing wrong if you chose to remain it as a hobby, the fact that you find joy and satisfaction from it, that’s what matters the most. Also, there wouldn’t be any pressure even if it doesn’t works, that’s another advantage of it.

I'm not into business though, but during the pandemic, I sold some items online and it was really good and I felt happy. But I quit it because I have to prioritized certain things after the pandemic and then our government are taxing everyone, even small entrepreneur like us.

From the first time I joined Krypto, I already had a goal for the future, by building this account from Jr.Member to where it is now and wanting to become a Legendary in the future, that is the desire that I want most, and I want to make it happen, so all of that is necessary. process and where each process has its own obstacles, these obstacles and challenges make us learn and continue to learn to correct where there are mistakes in ourselves, we still have to be optimistic to pursue an advantage that in the future will be essential for us.

In business terms, emotions have no value here because emotions will not run your life or you will not be able to do business properly with emotions. Emotions are necessary in life, but these cannot be associated with one's employment or business at all. As a businessman, we have to make decisions with our own brain and that decision must be taken with a cool head so that our business does not get damaged due to our wrong decisions. The more emotional you are and the more emotion you put into making decisions, the more decisions will go against you. Decisions should never be taken thinking that what is on the forehead will be seen later, rather the decision should be taken in such a way that the decision is guaranteed.

I think being a gamer that I turned my passion into profit for a meantime. It was fun until it lasts, and I guess that everyone was aware of that play to earn craze that we've got last time of bull run on 2021. It was really one of the amazing moments that every gamer was happy about it including me. That's when I have invested a lot there but that happiness turned into sadness that when I have realized it too late that it was a fad, a craze that's about to be gone too soon. I've sold BTC for it and then made significant investments just for it to lose.

Well then, that's an experience that I have learned with a lot and quite heavy in my heart to remember it. But, I'll never forget the happiness that it has brought me and there's really a possibility that every hobby and passion can be turned into profit. Soon, I'll start to get into more streaming and video making of the game plays that I do with every games that I play. And that's more certain into making hobby to money but it takes time until it becomes fruitful but now, I'll focus to what I have right now and just playing as a passion and to relieve stress.

Of course, turning a hobby into a business is an advantage because we can make a hobby a source of income apart from having fun. Because most people generally choose a job or business just because of the money. In fact, choices like that will ultimately make us quickly bored with these activities so that what happens is that the business does not develop and there is no change. So turning a hobby into income is the best idea for achieving success. But to be honest, I haven't done it either, because of capital constraints. I have a hobby of playing futsal but starting a futsal business requires a lot of capital. But for now this idea is already in my head, hopefully one day I can have a business from a hobby that I like.

What is clear is that we are serious about turning our hobby into a business. So we have to see this hobby as a job, so we can think about how to develop the products and services we provide.

If the business we run is in the form of a product then we must have the latest innovations, study the customer market and learn what they need, what they want, and what their purchasing power is in that market. If the business is in the form of services, then increase our abilities to be able to increase the value of our business.

I once saw that and my friend happened to like mountain climbing so he decided to sell all his climbing needs. Now he has benefited from his previous hobby and the business he manages is growing quite rapidly in the city where I live. It could also be if you like the beach and make a video to post on social media and if the video goes viral then we will most likely get paid. Although it depends on how you manage your account because there are requirements that must be met if you want to be paid.

Now there are many hobbies that can be carried out while making money and if someone understands how to use them, it will be much easier to make money. There are lots of photos and videos that are paid for now, you just have to take advantage of all the possibilities and if you are serious you will definitely be successful.

I like music, but until now I haven't taken an opportunity in the musical instrument sales business. Even though I have always had the intention to develop a business in musical instruments, where I live it doesn't have good prospects so I am still having problems running it.

This condition is very common when someone wants something that has the potential to produce results, and they will definitely pursue it so that what they want is achieved, thus success will definitely come to them sooner or later, of the many solutions, perhaps the best one starts with willingness and working hard the Good.

Obviously it’s great to enjoy what you do but be careful that trying to monetise your hobby doesn’t cause you to fall out of love with it. The pressures of running a business are rife & you might regret doing it. Have a thoroughly good think first if it’s something that you definitely want to do.
If we can do what we want, of course that is very good and being careful in doing something will of course bring us success. Thinking before doing something we want, such as running a business, is of course important before starting a business, we have to really think carefully about the risks we will face and how to overcome them well. Of course, this will really help us when we encounter problems in our business and will be able to solve them well.

Who doesnt want on doing the things he do like or wish for? at the same time that you are earning or making a living with it? We are all that hoping on such condition but of course not everyone would really be able to obtain or attain such condition and we do know that not all opportunities or jobs will really be that getting in line on what we do love or like. So we wont really be having any options or choices but to accept on whatever whats available even if its against or really that opposite with our interest on which this is really that simply sucks but well we dont have no choice but to bare and deal with it since we do need to earn money.
For those who do able to have such chance or condition then its good but if not then better to deal with it because not all everything that we do wish for would really be happening into us.

This is why if you are really that earning but not really that getting in line with your passion then it is really just that fine. You can still be able to engaged on things because we do need to earn and we do need
to have that money on day to day living on which we can still be able to adapt and love it as we do go ahead.  Grin. If ever you are really that be able to make money in line with your hobby or passion or interest
then its good for you. It would really be that situational because not all would really be that on such situation and we should really be cherishing it out.

I am a diehard game fan. I have been playing online games ever since I was first exposed to a computer and fortunately, I had gotten pretty good at some FPS (first person shooter) games to the point that I have participated in some local tournaments held in my country.

Though the pay may be relatively low, I am still proud that I can turn what I am passionate about into something that can earn me some monetary compensation due to my own skill, techniques, and practice on that game.

While I do think that I am still far at some players that already reached international level, I am quite satisfied with my progress given that I only do this as a hobby and not as my main source of income. Still, however, this kind of opportunity is definitely a blessing that I would forever cherish.
