The same is in my country there are not much people who know about bitcoin but only some of them and they are those people who are the students of computer science or of software engineering or who have spend a good time in online earning from home. while all others even the students of business and economics do not know about it.
That's really normal. Those software engineering and computer science students know bitcoin to expand their knowledge, while student like you have been mentioned such as business, economics, or another category which are really don't have relation to the technologies don't really require them to expand their knowledge about a techy thing,it's not their business by the way
Most people don't know or even bother about the tech, but the adoption is growing, I'm sure of it. In fact I just saw for the first time a restaurant accepting
BTCBTCBTC in my area, and it made me proud.
Amazingly, this may be followed by a restaurant or other shopping venues. in my place bitcoin is prohibited, but bitcoin can use for some shopping online. In my country maybe not more 0,0001% that know bitcoin. This makes me sad.

I definitely agree with you! because those courses that were computer related or technology related have more chances to know about bitcoins, the process, the price and anything inside the bitcoin.
