Hello everyone,

I am newbie, I've recently build a 1080TI rig. This is my rig status, its seem has low rate for 1080TIs:
https://i.imgur.com/yDzHAax.png

Beside that, my rig is not stable sometime 1 of the gpus auto increase its power, the temp raise too:
https://i.imgur.com/yX5fJ3C.png

This is mine Msi config:
https://i.imgur.com/HllZLpk.png

Any suggestion? Thank you!

Looks like you're hitting a 175 power-limit. Try to up it to 250Watt.
Could you give me the nvidia-smi output?

Yes, this is nvidia-smi info
https://pastebin.com/raw/heDSa6eu

I just dont want GPUs temp raise above 70*C.

Start with one GPU. Add "--cuda_devices 0" to the startup or edit "miner.cfg"
it works with 1 GPU and it works with 2 GPU's. when i add 3 GPU's it go to reboot.
Could you post an output of nvidia-smi?

Hey miners)
Could you somebody help me with one issue
i have 3 GTX 1080ti Gigabyte on my rig. windows 7 x64 instaled. latest drivers from nvidia website. On claymore ETH miners i have about 36.7 mh/s in all 3 cards. works perfect.
When i start EWBF ver 0.3.4b. windows go to reboot. with 2 cards works good. with 3 cards goes to reboot. What could be the issue?

Power?

sorry forgot about this. Power Gigabyte 1200W 80 platinum. this power more than anougth for 3 cards.

zomg, those hashrates are brutal, how did you manage to get them?  Shocked

I know and I'm trying to find an explanation for it.
Currently running @ 260Watt because of limited PSU-power. I'd like to see them running @300Watt

Same here. When I start mining Monero with CPU I have 30/40 more sol on gpu mining (ewbf .. 1080ti). Really strange but this means that EWBF have potential +10% speed if we understand why CPU working 100% gives speed up on gpu mining

I'm quiet sure that "Virtual Memory Alloc" that is involded in xmr cpu mining gives this boost to gpu mining..

Anyone here with knowledge of CPU's and PCIe channel utilization? I ask because @Blackhawk67 over at the z.cash forum is claiming that he is getting an extra 70-100 sol/s per gpu out of his 1080ti's when mining with both cpu and gpu. Based on his post it looks like he is getting about 830 sol/s per gpu, but when just mining with gpu's he's back down to normal range.  I suspect it has something to do with cpu and pcie channel utilization, but my knowledge only goes so far..

https://forum.z.cash/t/nvidia-gtx-1080-ti-gpus/16765/98

EWBF uses only GPUs to mine.
From the screen shots I see he is using nheqminer to mine on the computer's CPU. IMO.
Is it worth it to use the CPU to mine?
Maybe if you have a spare one handy for replacement to restart your machine ASAP so
you dont lose too much hashing time.
Having a machine down for 3 to five 5 days waiting for a replacement CPU can be costly.

been useful to form an enlightened opinion.

Don't know how , but I've seen it "jump" even higher.
I'll try firing up a CPU miner and see what it does.

Nehh, not the result I was hoping for. Could it be that my spikes are vardiff related?
Still a 200 Sol overall increase after letting "zcashd" do some mining.

What do you mean by "zcashd" I've got the same cards btw, pretty happy with 740ish sol/s, but 900-1k sol/s is damn impressive!

"zcashd" (you could use Google) is a wallet/miner/distributed-block-checker available from https://z.cash
Those 900-1000's are spikes for which I'm trying to find an explanation (?VarDiff?).
Still, I'm close to around 875 Sol/s now but power supply is limited (not a single decent PSU available in Holland)
If you are a linux user I could help you with the output.....

Hi guys,

Can you please advise me what is criteria for miner to select solver for each VGA?
I use identical VGAs in each rig that I have. I wonder why miner select different solver for each VGA.
1 or 2 cards occasionally use solver#2 or #4, instead solver#0 like the majority VGAs in the same rig.

Also, how different of each solver? rough explanation is ok for me.

Would it better to force them to use the same or I should let miner decide this automatically?

Thank you so much,

INFO:
This is autostart script for great EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ewbfs-cuda-zcash-miner-1707546

FEATURES:
1. Start, autostart, watch and restart miner.
2. Creates new log for every start of miner with filename timestamps.
(for paranoids - do not worry doff.exe is safe to use tool).
3. Watch for error "0 Sol/s" state and force kill/restart miner.
4. Give some stats for loops/starts/restarts count.

USAGE:
1. Carefully edit _start_ZEC_flypool_xxx.bat with your datas.

2. Unpack Doff.zip doff.exe to path (is return timestamps for log filenames)
(c:\Windows\System32\doff.exe
c:\Windows\SysWOW64\doff.exe)

3. Put _start_ZEC_flypool_xxx.bat on your startup folder
(For the Current User Startup Folder, open the Run dialog and type shell:startup.)

Start your miner with _start_ZEC_flypool_xxx.bat

NHEQMINER WILL MINE ON CPU AND GPUS SIMULTANEOUSLY--

If you have a strong CPU (i7, Vishera, Ryzen), it will kick in extra hash.  Be sure to monitor CPU temperature.  This is not a good idea for a laptop, but a desktop CPU with a good quality cooler should not be a problem.

A laptop may burn if mining on both CPU and GPU.  Or, on GPU alone, actually.       --scryptr

Well I definitely know the CPU can give you extra hash (small though). However, @blackhawk67 is claiming an addition 50-70 sol/s on each gpu WHEN the cpu was mining alongside, so I was wondering if there was a way leverage those findings for us..

I HAVEN'T USED NHEQMINER FOR A WHILE--

It would boost a single-card system maybe 50-60 Sols/s.  The Ryzen is known to be good at CPU mining.  I used an i7 2600.     --scryptr
