What do you mean by "zcashd" I've got the same cards btw, pretty happy with 740ish sol/s, but 900-1k sol/s is damn impressive!

"zcashd" (you could use Google) is a wallet/miner/distributed-block-checker available from https://z.cash
Those 900-1000's are spikes for which I'm trying to find an explanation (?VarDiff?).
Still, I'm close to around 875 Sol/s now but power supply is limited (not a single decent PSU available in Holland)
If you are a linux user I could help you with the output.....

The only explanation I can think of for the recent spikes in sol/s is perhaps the difficulty level dropping recently? I've noticed the difficulty level plateau and even drop after the ZEC price adjustment. Maybe people are switching their miners over to other currencies?

@alred911 try to download using another browser
--------

I tried to CPU mine via nheqminer to check if the hashrate would increase in EWBF like a few of you reported. I didn't have any increase, in fact, I had a small decrease of sol/s on my 2x 1080Ti rig.

Hey miners)
Could you somebody help me with one issue
i have 3 GTX 1080ti Gigabyte on my rig. windows 7 x64 instaled. latest drivers from nvidia website. On claymore ETH miners i have about 36.7 mh/s in all 3 cards. works perfect.
When i start EWBF ver 0.3.4b. windows go to reboot. with 2 cards works good. with 3 cards goes to reboot. What could be the issue?

Power?

sorry forgot about this. Power Gigabyte 1200W 80 platinum. this power more than anougth for 3 cards.

Start with one GPU. Add "--cuda_devices 0" to the startup or edit "miner.cfg"
it works with 1 GPU and it works with 2 GPU's. when i add 3 GPU's it go to reboot.

Dears,
Can anyone help me with this?

What type of risers are you using?  Is it always GPU 3 that causes the crash?  What are your OC settings?

Risers ver6, Claymore 9.7 miners works perfect up to 37 mh/s per one card and all cards works good. The main issue when i start EWBF ver 0.3.4b - this one works only with 2 cards. i tried to choose in conf -- cuda_devices 0 1 gpu's - works 0 2 - works, 1 2 works. It is not GPU issue. all cards works good. i can not understand why all 3 GPU not works in same time with EWBF ver 0.3.4b.

Is there anything in the windows event viewer?  If the system is forcing a reboot, there should be an error event in the system logs.

Have you tried running the cards at factory gpu and memory clocks?  a stable oc in ETH may not be stable in equhash.

Try running each card in its own instance of the miner.

Try running a different equhash miner like excavator with the same settings and see if it will run.

Thanks for your help. i tried excavator but on 3 cards it not works too. also i tried to run 3 miners 1 card 1 miner. when i run 3 card system go to reboot. something wrong with my hardware on equhash algoritm?

Anything in the event logs?  what if you under clock the GPU / memory?
In events only that system was shutdown unexpectedly - because of starting miner. i tried do under clock GPU and memory but it not helped. not works. very weird
Put each riser on 1 separate sata line from PSU. One with disk/ssd can share with one card.

If that is the only thing in the log then the power supply must be dropping power to the system either its self or from the MB.  Have you tried different power cables / risers / different pcie slots?  If there was a driver or software crash that was causing the restart you should get a memory dump and more in the logs.
i found this one on system log

I've recently write an Java app to get stats of EWBF Miner, put it into database and view in browser and i just want to share.

Hey guys,

i'm very new to mining and have the following issue occuring. Any input is highly appreciated!

One of my two rigs consists of 5 MSI QuickSilver 1070s and a 1000w PSU (Corsair HX1000i) using 0.3.4b. Afterburner settings are:
Power Limit: 55%
Core Clock: +150
Mem Clock: +500

1 of the 1070s is running at 450 Sol/s at 120w and is tweakable, is quickly adjusts to Afterburner adjustments but is usually above 55% power limit, more like 60. This cards is the coldest one at 59 to 60 degrees. All other 4 cards do not really care about their power limit at 55% but stay below 50%, averaging 45%. They vary in temperatures from 64 to 69 degrees, pull 100w and run 400 Sol/s. The core clock on those 4 cards remain at stock levels, too.

I'd like to push the other 4 cards to 450 as well and could live with 125w on all cards, yet my Afterburner Settings do not seem to have any effect. The Afterburner box "apply to similar GPUs" is checked and all GPUs do have the same settings, even if i uncheck the box and view them manually. The entire rig pulls 580w from the wall.

Is my PSU on the light side? It does not seem stressed at all, half of the time its fan does not even spin. Should i reinstall Afterburner?

Thank you all for your help, if you need more info please let me know.
Happy hashing!

Hey guys,

any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you played with any of the voltage curves in afterburner?  They will stay in effect for each card individually even when you adjust the power levels.  Your 1000 watt power supply is sufficient to run 7 cards at a reasonable power setting so 5 will not be a problem.

Try bringing up your power level to a higher percentage as well, like 70% you should see the cards increase in power then.

IS there anyway you can configure backup servers or different pools in one bat file?. Suprnova zec-eu wasnt reachable this night. The backup pool did work (had to manually configure an new bat this morning ) EU & US Mining Node: stratum+tcp://zec-eu.suprnova.cc:2142  Backup: stratum+tcp://zec.suprnova.cc:2142 )

You need to run the miner.cfg file to use the backup pools, from memory you can have 10 or 12 servers listed as backups.  It doesn't switch back to the original pool though when it comes back on line, so keep that in mind.
