I think its a matter of opinion as to whether having the platform fully mobile compatible will actually attract more players as some people still prefer the non-mobile versions, though to have both worlds meet of course, it would be a plus having the casino work on both platforms. Its what I think atm anyways, -some folks on here might have a different opinion.

Yes I do understand that it is better to have a casino that can conpatible with both mobile and non mobile but still with non mobile you can get a lot of experience mean while you will stuck on mobile when it comes to gamble. The feeling that you get will always difference. It is like with mobile you can't do everything all out. But on pc we can add so many things to support it as well. I do not say that mobile is not that good, I was play mobile casino before but it has totally difference atmosphere

Nowadays we believe a mobile version of any consumer-facing product is required. But we also think that  higher % of betting exchange users will use desktop over mobile, compared to e.g. sportsbook. This is down to "professional" mindset that a betting exchange audience will have, compared to the more casual audience of a sportsbook.
Whichever way... exbet.io WILL have a mobile version at launch, so everyone can choose the format that suits them best  Cool
To be honest everyone have different choose. If you have mobile version only then users will ask where is desktop version on mobile? If you have only desktop version then they will ask where is mobile version. That's the different between test. Personally I like to work any website on desktop mode, like this forum. But still some people asking where is mobile version. So better solution is implement both versions so there will no further question and its bit important if you are going to run your business for long time. So user would choose their favourite mode, you should not look what doing other sportsbook

From the impression I am getting from the dev here, I think they will cater the API as promised. And since most people are on the go, mobile version of this betting platform is highly recommended. This will attract more players from all walks of life. And when is the target launch of full version of this platform?

Yes, you got it spot on Twinkledoe! There will definitely be an API available at launch. We are not sure yet whether to open the API to everyone as default, or whether users will have to apply for API access. More details closer to launch.

Target time period for launch is still quite broad - by the end of 2019. We have a few processes that we have to complete so that we can launch the product with all appropriate protections for our future customers. We will certainly keep everyone updated through this thread. Thanks for your interest  Smiley

I read all your replies to other members feedbacks. I liked how professional your replies are which made me intersted in testing the Beta version.
Sadly, I couldn't do that since it is only available on Desktop and am using a phone.
Anyway, I will wait for full lauch. Hope it will not take long.

So many people have asked to to join that we decided to open it up to all you lovely people  Cool

Remember: Play Money only in the Beta, real Bitcoin when we go LIVE later in 2019

Good idea. The more feedback you get now the better for the product when you launch. Didn't understand why it was closed in the first place.

ok, when will API be ready? we've seen a lot of promises around API "coming soon" but then not delivering (eg smarkets).

had a look at the beta, it was actually pretty good, some observations:
* simple interface, home page reminds me of some of the non-US crypto exchanges, especially Binance. The rest is functional. I sort of liked it.
*  bet matching was slow, why does it take like 3 or 4 seconds to place a bet?
* couldn't find any obvious bugs
* sign up feels a bit dated
* couldn't get view on all money in a market, not ideal
* Crappy market making, same prices for all games, but I assume that is just for beta

If there is an API as promised, then this has a chance of being a decent betting exchange.

Is there going to be mobile version when it launches?

Thanks for taking the time to give feedback, arco-yabamba, really appreciated.

All your points have been noted.

The bet placement process has deliberately been tuned down for this beta - expect to see something much snappier when we launch.

You're right on the seeding of markets - we have a very simple bot putting up odds on all the markets pre-match. Again, this will be something that goes up a few levels at launch. Strong market makers are a must for any exchange platform, and we are confident in the liquidity we'll see at or soon after launch. Maybe that's something you're looking at, given your interest in the API? Get in touch if so.

Mobile - yes, there will be absolutely be a mobile version at launch, and we're excited about bringing the exchange experience to the small screen. We might even do a very small limited beta for mobile only before going live.

appreciate the response and thanks for the link! i know you still have a lot of stuffs to be added but i didnt expect to see a section of politics. thats a twist though! a good addition to loosen up a bit. and also, consider adding the summer olympics tab. still early but you are still in devt mode anyway.
Yes, we thought Politics was a little bit of fun for the beta. But it is something which we think could be of interest to some customers when we go live.

Summer Olympics, yes, that should be something we start offering in spring 2020.

can you make it simpler to understand for noobs and the likes? i understand what you want here. but most people are oriented using satoshis - using the 8 decimal number. it might create confusion later on if they havent read your faq.
Good catch. This is an old draft FAQ that should not be there. Actually, we only use milli Bitcoin (mBTC) on exbet.io. We will correct this ASAP - thank you!

What are you talking about? Betting exchanges have been operating using the P2P model for a long time now(Betfair, Fairlay, Matchbook, Smarkets etc). You get to set your own odds and act as the bookmaker thanks to this P2P model and the site survives thanks to the commission on your winnings.

Beta going strong, great feedback from so many of you so far! Very exciting to see.

And, right on cue.. a very cool article about exbet.io out today:
https://www.cryptogamblingnews.com/exbet-betfair-commission/

They even tapped us for a quote:

“We’re fully focused on the exbet.io beta and we’ve been getting superb feedback from an army of exchange and crypto veterans.

“As far as Betfair’s recent commission changes are concerned, it’s too little too late in our opinion.

“It’s quite a coincidence that they made this announcement as exbet.io went into beta promising an industry-busting 1% commission.”

For those of you who haven't taken a look at the beta yet... there's an easter egg in that article for you  Smiley

"betting exchange will provide the crypto sports betting community with the P2P trading platform it deserves."

Rare to see these kind of sites collaborate two different areas.I might consider on following this one.

Have you ever tried the platform? Can you tell us about the advantages of being P2P? I honestly don't think this system and decentralized betting is very possible. Many problems can arise and people who solve them may need to intervene in the system.

BetBTC was a popular exchange sometime back before they converted into a sportsbook while Fairlay remains the top crypto betting exchange with decent liquidity at present. exbet could compete with Fairlay primarily thanks to their design and UI(Seems to be better than Fairlay currently).
