You need to do the best that you can to learn from this experience, we are all expecting that something similar to what happened during 2017 happens again and many were expecting this year to be similar and in a way we got it, but it was too short lived and that is what generated all of that disappointment among people and it doesn't seem very likely that the next year is going to be any better, so dedicate your time to accumulate all the coins that you can and forget about the price for some time.

I have high expectations for crypto and its not even close to now but about my portfolio i don't worry much, i still believe that good bull run will occur, its a shame that bad days last longer the good days, I'm not ready to give up

unfortunately my hopes for this year are not close to reality, this is far beyond expectations. I hope the price of bitcoin and altcoin can move significantly but vice versa. The market said differently that the price of cryptoqurrency this year did not experience a significant change, even when BTC pumped up to $ 9k when it did not affect the other altcoin prices at all. the current market reality is really bad.

Number one lesson: be hopeful (due to the prospects of the industry) but keep and open mind (because, not all predictions and assumptions turn out real). Crypto is not mathematics and thus anything is bound to happen. I am more of the latter, my hope for crypto is immeasurable and I hope it fulfills all its potentials

Things are worse in crypto since this thread was started, and that wasn't my expectation at all. I generally try to keep those low so that I'm not constantly disappointed, but this has turned out to be a very rough 2nd half of the year.

I *think* 2020 is going to be a better one for bitcoin and a lot of altcoins, but I don't *expect* it to be, and there is a huge difference between those two. If I expected a bull market next year, I would be backing up the truck and loading up on various coins, but I'm not doing that.

Precisely what I was trying to communicate about the way I think. And it isn't as tho you can predict what's going to happen with anything in the crypto market anyway.

I think they're pretty sure they're gonna offer a new world order for Bitcoin. It does not make sense to see Bitcoi as the gateway to monetization. Because bitcoin promises other things. It can offer an opportunity for democracy. Perhaps in the future Blockchain will have an integrated voting system.

I also understand how to have hope after being stuck long enough in a bearish condition, it's good not to over-expect if in reality it might not happen. It's better to have a little realistic expectations than big expectations, maybe you can have big expectations but to a certain degree

Well only bitcoin lives up to its expectations this year, for altcoins no single expectation comes to reality and 2020 is already here, now everybody is expecting bitcoin halving to bring new ATH which i think it might not because last halving bitcoin doesn't start surging instantly

Expectations are sometimes not in line with what is happening in the market and I think this is common in any market. I think many people are expecting more on the cryptocurrency market but because of the many bad news, investors are a bit scared and wait and see. Hopefully 2020 can meet the expectations of crypto investors and can provide good profits

On expectations that are embedded in my mind, Cryptocurrency always provides large land as an opportunity for everyone who joins the Cryptocurrency. The fact that the land increasingly narrowed. It shows that Cryptocurrency lacks openness to all circles. So it is quite disappointing with this that continues to happen. 2019 may not be as expected after 2018 it is also not good for the cryptocurreny market but I am still optimistic that the crypto market will reach the highest price and market cap value. Yep, after the crash from $ 8k8 to $ 6k4 a week ago, and total market cap was around $ 200Bil, It seems that we have lost faith in an altcoin season and bull market this year.
