Making expectations are key to believe in your investment so it will be better if you will be logical when you expect something to happen in the market. It is difficult to expect, especially after being disappointed a lot of times. Sometimes, we just need to lower the bar, our standards. No one can earn a lot of profit at all times, not anymore at least. But it doesn't mean that investing will go to waste. The investments can help a lot to make more other industries adapt and integrate cryptocurrency.

Your statement it self proves that you are somewhat delusional because you state that Facebook has some positive impact on the price, it has absolutely no potential to impact crypto market in positive or even negative way.

As you all know, BTC broke down from its support at 8k today, it is heading to 6k and it will most likely be very sad bear market for coming months.

Well, I don't expect too much in cryptocurrency because the market price is very unpredictable, especially for the price of bitcoin because there are a lot of predictions that they say it will increased it's price before the end of 2019, which i don't want to expect too much because might fall down again just like in the year of 2018. But for now, i see that my expectation in bitcoin is close to the reality because i see that my holding in bitcoin is increasing.

i wasn't expecting we will really be experiencing this long bear. that i didn't find it possible since it already happened in 2014 and i thought it won't happen again because more and more people are going to learn BTC and that it will have more demands and the result was bullrun. never expect what could happen after it. i can only expect this bear will finally end and lets see much of the developments that the devs are doing while they are hiding.

many such hopes are very far from the reality that is in place of the exchange a lot of price manipulation and many news from cryptocurrency that only gives false hope, with the good news can provide price increases it does not.

Making expectations in this industry is not healthy in the long run. But it is vital of course so that we could estimate trades and make wise decisions. Overall, my expectations for crypto isn't complete yet. I am still waiting and hoping that there will be price spike in the next two months, before the year ends. Hopefully, things will roll out soon then we can see the latest progress in the current trends in the market like IEOs.

I never expected the price of major coins to reach a new All Time High this year because its too soon to see that kind of huge growth once again after last bullrun, NO that is not reality, crypto still have to suffer for that last bullrun movement to keep balance in checked, either you are holding for longterm or short term or just a daily trader there is better time for everything in crypto, bullrun will come again but not sooner

The cryptocurrencies market needs not to get into great expectations by just holding on. Because holding any cryptocurrency except bitcoin could disappoint investors.

So if you're just doing hodl, you should keep your expectations low, at least in the short term.

Obviously, the reality is the total opposite of the expectation of the majority . Well same thing happened before due to how high the market value of the cryptos became last 2017. For this year, expectations of a "comeback" I think, is due to frustrations since the market value of cryptos are falling for months already. There are many investors who have gave up with the situation and we just cannot blame them for doing so, since it is them who are losing.

For me personally, for 2019 this is still far from what I expected and sometimes makes me feel disappointed or feel that what I have done has not gotten anything. Everyone must have hope to be able to get abundant profits, it is not wrong if what we predict is still falling, the most important thing is we must continue to observe the movement of market charts to determine the right moment and look for opportunities to get profits.

IMHO! even in the bottom of my target price was not hit, My expectation since 2018 was really great but the reality was not even closer. As 2019 passing by im still optimistic that the market can recover, But i was wrong most of my altcoin holdings was experiencing a massive decline of its prices, until i was surprise when the Bitcoin price was reach $13K in july i was expecting a major bullrun along with altcoins but still my expectation was far from reality. Until today altcoin price was continue to decline slowly.

I have expected that the bull run will occur at the beginning of 2019 but I was wrong. The market is really unpredictable and is always unstable so no one could really predict it accurately. However, expecting the best would still really keep us positive and motivated. The market situation isn't really bad right now so investing and buying would be a great move.

The current price has nothing to be compared from the last breakdown, because it never encountered a sudden bounce or spike after 2018's fall. More people expected wide visionary, but still didn't conform to the reality of actual market situation lately. As of now let's start over a discipline in order to make our asset productive.

When bitcoin started to move again this year, I cannot deny that I did expect something bigger to happen like breaking the previous ATH. But another side of me thinks that it might be a bit impossible to make another record this year, not that fast this time. I am still happy with the current price as it is still many times bigger than last year.

I stopped expected after bitcoin reached ATH and finally corrected to current price, I didn't expect bitcoin to break above 10k usd again. the reality now, i must be grateful that the price of bitcoin is still relatively stable at this time. and can still get bitcoin and is still valuable when exchanged to fiat.

It seems that hope from last year did not bring good results this year, I mean I want to throw away some old altcoin to exchange it for BTC, but the market does not support me and keeps me holding until the market situation improves again. but if there is a good opportunity the next day I will immediately sell and then convert some of my altcoin bags to btc.
