Hey guys, is it normal for a freshly installed wallet to take currently 10+ hours to receive a deposit?

I have confirmed that i used the correct address..

It is still syncing with network.

The wallet is from here: https://www.xpcoin.io/downloads/

Wallets have to be fully synced before your coins appear in them.

The wallet is a Trojan

nope. been running the wallet for about 2 years now, ran multiple scans daily. new one as well, no trojan. not many views here if you are looking to manipulate the already fluid market, i understand the effort though

Really bitdefender deletes as soon as it is downloaded for a Trojan... tried on 2 different machine

yeah if you have dealt with other coins, they sometimes get mistaken as trojans by the best of software upon initial wallet download. almost every wallet ive downloaded carried some warning or another, when they dont know how to clasiify the unknown, they immediately classify as trojan or prompt a permision request. i use webroot and norton, as well as another issued by my employer. when initially installing the wallet i too was alerted, but i was also with diamond coin, doge coin, bitcoin and most other QT wallets, it is common.

dont take my word for it though, the false trojan alarm is common enough and after the wallet is downloaded there is no sign of any virus, even bitdefender will confirm that. they like to be paranoid and cover themselves which is perfectly reasonable. by all means though, dont bother with several different alt coins if your virus software is telling you not to, most will send a red flag in one form or another and you should be very careful.

Not sure why experience points is flying to the moon! a top 100 coinmarketcap coin, listed on only a few exchanges, but yet it is increasing so fast?

Any specific reason or announcement to justify this rapid increase?

Lots of gaming coins out there, just interested in what is making experience points increase so much.

how is this coin different than others, seems not deserve the rank it is at in the cryptomarketcap, correct me if I am wrong

Go to the xpcoin.io and read the updated whitepaper V3, it clearly states XP is creating an economy and burning a huge portion of it's supply in exchange for nodes. XP is an interesting one because yes it was subsat a few months ago but it's novelty value has been realized by Japanese traders- It is a coin for the gaming industry called Experience points, did you ever play Pokemon on the gameboy? There is now a team of over 20 people in focusing on different areas, there is a level of organisation in XP only seen in top 20 coins.

You're completely right m8. This coin was trading at fractions of a satoshi and there's no reason why that ever should have changed.
