Famous Vegas strip, cool, so does anybody know why they didn't race there since 80s? I don't want Google or chatgpt answers, I wanna know if any of you are that old lol

Anyway, so many rumors of Ricciardo taking over Perez at RB, I feel like the hype has gone up too much this move WON'T happen. Someone else, or even shock Perez stay Tongue

There is another challenge with Las Vegas GP - extremely low temperatures. Maybe it won't be coldest ever F1 race, but most likely coldest in modern era. All sessions will be held at night (qualifying at noon and race at 10 PM local time)and current forecast shows 8-9°C, but it may drop even to 5°C. So, there will be lot of struggle to keep tyre temperatures high.
Also, we in Europe have to prepare to get up early on weekend to watch it because here it will be early morning during qualification and race.

Yes @YuginKadoya The track does look to favor Red Bull's machines on this layout.

Liberty media who brought F1 racing back to the Las Vegas strip after 40 years surely had some challenges to overcome to have it completed by 2023:

The only thing I can think of is this track is brand new to all drivers as F1 is making a return back to Las Vegas.
So this race there can be won by anyone because no driver has any experience on it and they have to learn the turns and the zones where they can gain any advantage during the course of the race.

That long straight is surely made for Red Bull I think they would like those straight lines because the RB19 can accumulate acceleration faster than the other cars with their likely aerodynamic body well this is just a speculation I had, for sure Sergio Perez will be happy about it but this is just a maybe as the McLaren, Ferrari and the Aston Martin are all in favor for this kind of things, for sure it will make sense when we see all F1 cars in action,

Another thing i noticed in your image is, in turn 5 we are in front of the new sphere of Las Vegas, i hope they dont make any stupid thing that can cause problems in the vision of the drivers, for example putting something really bright. But i think we are gonna see something fun in that sphere, a surprise from the F1.

This is an all-new track they have already tested this Circuit with the test driver that each team has and they will be the ones that will report to the driver on what they think of the track surely there is more neon glow to it than with actual track to race in, well the shape of the track layout is really not that inspiring but let just wait next week on what may happen with the race,

I saw someone comparing Las Vegas to Spider Pig upside down and now I can't get this image out of my head Cheesy. But seriously it's another boring street circuit and I'm not big fan of it. I expect that overtaking will be just in DRS zones. And that extremely long straight, something similar like in Baku.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I was laughing after seeing your post for sure they are inspired by something while thinking about making the track layout but for sure many are speculating that they have made a track out of the Simsons cartoon instead, but yeah it looks just like it, but for sure there are other things that track was inspired from,

F1 news slow this week since the race is next weekend so found something very interesting to watch to fill that void for racing action until the end of the season:

Thanks for sharing very interesting content. I knew that they have room with so many screens and all feed from all these cameras, but I'm trying to imagine how difficult is to make final product that we get on TV. Motorsport is probably most difficul type of sport when it comes to broadcasting.

What an ammount of screens, i think is really beatifull to see so much screens with tons of cameras and angles, but after sometime , you ended up only seeing the main one  Grin

I remember one guy (i dont remember his name) who has a setup with 20 screens or something like that, so he can see every camera of the drivers.

What a ""turn"" is the 13º hahaha, man is gonna be a very very long straight, so some teams with good top speed are gonna be a headache. I can see Alpine with amazing top speeds or Williams being a problem for the big teams in that straight. DRS is gonna be very important, but i dont know how the teams are gonna set the cars.
Yes, I only noticed it when you mentioned it actually!
That straight away is the entire length of the entire track so it will be fun to watch which cars will have the most power so to turn into a shuttle and see how fast their engines can go!

The rivalry between Perez and Alonso in the last moments was really lovely. It made me remember Perez's incredible defending against Hamilton in 2021 with the aim of helping Verstappen get closer to them. This time Perez was hunted with his own move by Alonso.  Smiley  Because Alonso was really amazing about staying ahead of him by a small gap at the end of the race.

There was only a difference like 0.05 seconds at the end. After Perez overtook him on the start straight I wasn't expecting Alonso to fight back that strong. Experience and being one of the most talented drivers on the grid really make difference. Alonso is 42 years old but his reflexes are still great.

It was really a fun watch actually these two gave the audience a spectacular race for sure it was like racing to win this race, but we all know it was racing just to get to the Podium, and for sure Sergio Perez didn't need to be ashamed because he has lost the podium the important part here is they both have an amazing race and both of them have so much fun about it I think that is the essence on F1 that many are not experiencing anymore the thrill on who will win the race, and both drivers have shown true heart and skill and the Experience of Fernando Alonso surely prevailed in this race, here is the video for the ones that haven't seen their toe to toe performance,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXhKs28HMXY

Betting against him is a mistake. Had Hamilton doing something on this track but he didn't get even a podium place.
Alonso looked like a brand new driver with his performance in getting second place and defending it in the very last seconds of the race to pull out another podium place just like he did at the beginning of the season.
Even Stroll managed to get some points for Aston Martin.

The worst was Ferrari with their first driver Leclerc having issues even before the race started.
It was during the formation lap!

It seems he has the worst luck with his car and his team this entire season.

It is really hopeless to say that Max Verstappen is not going to win a race as that is 1 is to 10 that is happening, as Max Verstappen is pretty much unstoppable for the time being for sure I truly believe that the dominance of Max Verstappen is not stopping anytime sooner, the young man is just keeps on getting great in his every race, so yeah always predict that he will end up winning the race for sure,

Qualify was ruined by the rain but once again Max got the position.

this time he got it because it was the 1st running, he always makes the correct decision.

Agree in this one, is a nonsense to bet against Max this season i tried it a couples of time but its impossible, if you see also he didnt retire in any race, he only end 5 in Singapore being his worst race, and in a few he ended second behind Perez at the start of the season.

I did watch it and it was really unlucky of him and I saw how he lost control of his grip and just continued to the barriers and it was a wreck. It was really hard for him probably because he never even showed his skills yet during the race.

It seems he has the worst luck with his car and his team this entire season.
A lot has happened and I think it's probably the worst thing that happened to him this season.

If there was another driver other than alonso in front of perez, he would have passed in 3 laps, but this is what happens when the most unlucky driver in history for me is alonso, who deserves at least 5 championships. Where he took the corners, charging the battery and cooking the red bull car softly like a potato in the embers was very clever. Perez pulled the difference up to 0.9 for a while, and around the 65th lap. In 2021, we are talking about the best defensive man of the grid who gave nightmares to the most in-form Mercedes and hamilton of the period for 10 laps. Perez gave a very good message for the future, he had a very good pace for the team.

For sure I agree with you if Sergio Perez was not in the RB19 then that would be easy for Fernando Alonso but for sure if they could switch cars I bet Fernando Alonso would go straight to the finish line with Max Verstappen if given a chance to get into one of the RB19, but for sure Red Bull will not offer the seat into a nearly retiring driver, but what can I say Fernando Alonso is that genuine of a driver that anybody could want him for sure, and yeah I like Fernando Alonso more than with Lewis Hamilton,

Lando Norris definitely did alright, second place and the fastest lap which puts him right next to Alonso and potential for fourth place for the season. There are only two races left, Mclaren will not be reaching to third place, but they are comfortable at fourth, if there were some more races left that could be possible but with 2 races left, ferrari looks comfortable at third. Norris could pass Alonson ext race up, but I highly doubt that he will have a chance to go past Hamilton, about 30 points difference, not impossible if Hamilton has days like this for two in a row and Norris finishes podium in both, but I would say its unlikely to see him finish third. Fourth for Norris seems more likely, just as fourth is likely for Mclaren.

Lando Norris and McLaren have done a great job so far for this year-ending season, for sure in the next season McLaren will be ready for sure, well right now McLaren is sitting with a sweet 282 points right now while Ferrari is 362 points so sure that is so high points that they will be needing to get into that standing, while they should focus on for Aston Martin to not get their position because Aston Martin is pretty much near with 261 points, for sure the 4th place is a sweet spot,

One thing to notice in the race was the work who made Piastri, with his car damaged and with one lap behind he still race to catch a lot of data about the tyres for the team and to help Lando Norris in the top , and try to make so move to win against RedBull. so i think this deserve to be mention.
