I think that he did a pretty good job with McLaren this season. After getting used to the car we started to see really good performances from him. He even won a sprint race I mean. This is a really solid start for a rookie. Of course Norris was way ahead of him in the driver standings at the end of the season. But I don't find this gap bad for Piastri as this was his first season.
In addition McLaren bring new updates to Norris' car first so Piastri generally has a slower car.
In other news, Williams extended contract with Logan Sargeant:

It's a bit unexpected for me. He wasn't awful, but when you have Albon as teammate, who overperformerd with very average car, it's difficult to impress. And after all, it was his rookie season, maybe it's good that Williams aren't acting like Red Bull and giving time for driver.
So, 2024 lineup is confirmed and we don't have any changes from 2023 season - I barely can remember such cases. Seems that off-season will be boring without much rumours.
I was surprised with that news related to Sargeant and Williams to tell the truth. Because in my opinion Sargeant was really bad compared to Albon. I mean he was like continuing from where Latifi left. He was one of the drivers who cost their team a lot of money due to crashes as well. When it comes to head-to-heads with Albon in qualifying sessions there is a huge gap between two drivers too. After seeing a this big gap I thought Williams would like to look for a new second driver.
But Sargeant still continues. However he had better improve his performance next season. Because probably this would be his last season at the team if he maintains the same thing.
