Lets see in Japan if the Redbull problems with the car were only in SIngapore or its more complicated than that.

Seeing how Max ended the race, seems like they have good pace in the end, so i think they are gonna comeback in Japan.

Last year RedBull was superior in Japan, in Singapore RedBull also had some problems in 2022 but not as severe as this year. I think that RedBull will win again in Japan, it will be interesting to see if Ferrari can confirm its performance and finish on the podium or if McLaren and Mercedes are faster than Ferrari, which is difficult.

When someone is getting 1.29 odds for a race in formula 1, you know how seriously good that person is. This isn't just about the fact that he is the best or anything like that, or their car is the best or similar, the idea is that in a racing world you know that anything could happen.

We could see the  car having engine problems, we could see them have gearshift problems, we could see them have tire problems, we could see them have pit stop problems, we could see the weather causing trouble, we could have a crash even at the first turn, we could see all kinds of stuff going wrong, and not like it never happens. But, when you have a team that lost only one race so far, and a driver that lost only 3 races so far, the odds becomes like this.
I was actually thinking the same thing as you had just mentioned.

@crwth Also to conclude about Red Bull's dominance in the F1 in the races so far:
A car can not run like it had been throughout the entire year without degradation to it.
Even if the engineers of that team have thought of everything possible that could happen to the engine, there will be failure to a part somewhere along the line.
That is a fact to F1 because they a running these cars at extreme speeds and to their limit so of course there will be a point of failure at some point.

About the flexi wing thing, there are some videos about it which I haven't had a chance to watch yet.
I will take a look at them today before the practice sessions begin for the Japan Grand Prix.

Ferrari with this win will have both Sainz and Leclerc both fighting for the top spot of first driver and the Mercedes duo will be re-evaluating on how they organize themselves going on in this race for the last lap. So there isn't an incident happening to Russell with going so hard into the wall next time.

This one should be an interesting one to see how the teams handle each other after what had transpired in Singapore.
I remember watching the interview of Lewis talking about the incident. He said that it could be because of the really hot tires and possibly the pressure put on by Lewis to George to go faster and try and overtake. It's really a preview on what the F1 could be if Red Bull isn't that dominant throughout the season.

In some way from the Singapore GP I can see momentum being built up since the other teams have that exposure now Red Bull can bleed and are not invincible after all.
They will all take this opportunity to look for an advantage of the kink in Red Bull's armor.

I'm going for all-out Red Bull and Max revenge in Japan prediction contest from jeremypwr, so I will most likely adjust nothing in my podium finish lol

I still don't really understand Singapore results but for me it's a blip rather than a start of a slide, so everything must line up in place.

This Japanese grand prix is going to leave alot of people with some questions to ask for this raceweek's forum pool before they put in their picks.

The sportsbookies are still favoring Verstappen to put the Singapore Grand Prix in the rear view mirror and do what he did there last season with a win.
Here are the odds for this Japan grand prix:

I have a feeling the Mercs aren't going to just let what happened to Russell dissuade them to get them and get out there strong this time out.
Hamilton ended up on the podium so I expect him to keep that pace for this race.

I feel like Max did all he could even with all the things that happened. I mean this dude didn't even had tire changes during the SC to get the first place, and he couldn't get that, which was a terrible deal for them because if he was first he would have fresh air and he would be able to just run with it, and wait until the ones behind him get the changes, and he could get a pit spot there.

Even if he lost time, he would have been better, even if he was overtaken, because others would have fresher tired, he would have been better. After that he missed the second VSC and got in earlier, those are all bad luck, not like the team could have waited any longer, car was having trouble. I pity Russell, he did all he could, that was just unlucky, he deserved a podium.

You can surely see the frustration from Verstappen while he is moving slowly in the tracks and it is really unusual when some cars overtake him this is a new experience for him from being dominant to certainly being overtaken by most cars was a nightmare for both Red Bull for sure the Red Bull team is sorting this out and doing what they can in getting back up on track, for sure bad luck have surely stricken Red Bull on this Grand Prix

George Russell is very sad about the thought that he can get a glimpse of getting at the podium or even better getting the championship and for sure seeing that Red Bull is having a problem was pretty much sad from what has happened to him,

I feel like Max did all he could even with all the things that happened. They can already start doing certain tests and preparations for the next season. Because of Red Bull's dominance, I almost lost interest in following F1. Maybe Red Bull fans don't think so, but that was never good for any sport.
However, what I watched restored my faith that F1 can be interesting again. What Carlos Sainz showed was a real masterclass.

For sure Red Bull fans will have a different understanding than you it is clear that they would love the dominance of Red Bull, but I am a Ferrari Fan but this kind of thing is really unusual for me, and instead of being happy for Carlos Sainz win I am pretty much not into it because the Next GP if Red Bull can fix their RB19 it will be another Dominance for Red Bull for sure what I want is for Ferrari to certainly defeat Red Bull when they are at their best and not having any reason why they lost because in that scenario that is a true victory for them so this win for Ferrari I feel like they are just lucky winning because the RB19 isn't working properly,

-snip-

For us fans it's good when one team doesn't dominate, which will be interesting. Was it the layout of the circuit that didn't suit RedBull or was it the rule change since last weekend where the wings have to be stiffer and did the rule change slow RedBull down a bit?

This weekend in Japan we will see if the rule change has shifted the balance of power a bit.

But for a fan of only Red Bull, for sure they are not happy about it, and now that Max Verstappen can not get the records that he is targeting for me I am not a Red Bull fan but I really like to see Red Bull or Max Verstappen get that record for sure, but surely that will not be seen today, because of that lost in the Singapore Grand Prix and for sure Red Bull is affected by the changes, for sure because the wings will need to be Stiffer so Red Bull also change their floor aswell, and it was not the best idea,

After doing some sniffing on what has happened with Red Bull I have come to some videos that it was cost because of the Technical Directives that wanted to change the flooring of Red Bull for a new Flooring for the Singapore Grand Prix that cost problem for the machines of Red Bull as the car was now too high than with the usually lowered set-up for the red bull machines it seems they are trying the new set up in the 1st up to the 3rd Practice then decided to change back into the old ones but it was too late and the old floor data is not set right meaning there are further adjustments needed for it to work properly

But because of the new setup they just lost the Singaporean Grand Prix the consecutive winnings that Verstappen has attained, the world record that Red Bull wants to attain and the hardship of their two drivers for sure not only Max Verstappen but Sergio Perez is upset as well, for sure this could be prevented but because of the New Technical Directives for sure it really is targeting the Red Bull machine and it did,

WOW! nice information I sure hope you also provided the link for the information you have taken, but anyway I have watched a video that talks about the new technical directives that have new rules for the parts of the F1 machines for sure it was really affected the speed of the Red Bull for sure as they need to put a floor that could cost the machine to just heighten the machine a little as we all know that the floor of Red Bull is always lowered and this have cause the speed of the Red bull machine that many was surprise about and it surely affected their aero dynamic run,

lol those animals are definitely cultured now and even wants to join the races lol. I’m curious if there’s just someone putting it there or they go out to the track through sewers or something.

No. There are definitely a lot of people here but no one seems to be familiar lol. 90k is the capacity. Not sure if it’s full but there are a lot or people.

There's always speculation but from own personal experience, it's not a human intervention Smiley I've been out many times and you see family of them roaming around, usually through sewers or the big drains you see all over Singapore.

There is a token2049 event in Singapore, bet loads of "crypto" people took the chance.

Enjoy another week fellas. I hate you MoSala Wink

It was a shock for all F1 fans and many didn't believe what they saw as there was no Red Bull that made it to the podium for this Grand Prix, and the bookies surely have given them an underdog status for their odds, it was truly a shift of pace, and the cut for the record that Max Verstappen wants to attain it all went into the drain for sure, and because of this Verstappen was mad with his team

We all know everything through tv and nothing else. That era is long gone. Now we hear stuff we don't even wanna know, and 90% not true lol Enjoy raceday everyone!!

For sure it was all in the past but surely it was a blast in the past when we're talking about it for sure the Legend that Michael Schumacher has attained will surely be embroiled in our hearts for me even the past needs to be remembered as they want that for sure now on to Schumacher condition he was in a real coma and for sure I really wish that he wakes up to see the situation he left at the F1 race as Ferrari is celebrating with a win on Carlos Sainz,

Verstappen has @6 odds to win this race so even the bookies won't favor RedBull today and the record will remain at 10 consecutive win races. Now, I think Leclerc will find a way to win this race ,right ? P3 in singapore will give you a chance to fight for first place in the first lap of the race but same goes for Russel and Sainz is nowhere near safe with them behind.

For sure the result was really unexpected for the F1 Grand Prix because of Red Bull's Demise with their cars not working properly it surely is the fault of the mechanical team, their tires aren't properly responding it was really a technical issue and it is not the driver's fault for sure but surely Christian Horner said that they are unlucky this time and will surely come back on the next Grand Prix with a strong sense of qualifying and with no errors involve,

I didn't think Ferrari could win the race with the long runs and the high tyre wear, and then Sainz and not Leclerc. A short while ago I wrote that Sainz has to be careful not to lose his place at Ferrari, but it looks like Sainz is the better Ferrari driver at the moment. But the races without Verstappen dominance can go on like this.

First heard about it when a rather famous cryptoinfluencer mentioned they were in Singapore and livestreaming their show live from Singapore at the beginning of last week because they were there for the conference and the F1 race this weekend.
It might have been for this one which is for WEB3 instead:
https://beincrypto.com/token2049-singapore-set-to-be-worlds-largest-web3-event
It's sad I wasn't able to attend it while I'm here. Maybe next time.

Anyways F1 race is about to begin and not seeing a Red Bull in the starting line-up is something new to behold.
Let's see which teams can capitalize on this unrecognizable front grid of Russell and Sainz.
It was really an amazing race. The place I was in was great with many overtakes and action. I was in turn 7 and it was a great view. Nice to be there in action.

It probably made it easier for bookies since there is little chance of rain by the time it starts or throughout the race according to weather forecasts. The wet conditions are usually chaotic and that gives better chances to those at the back to steal the race.
It did rain for quite a while around 3 pm I think and I think everyone was in hopes of that rain. It would be even harder for sure. Maybe in the next SGP?

Well , now we can understand why bookies gave Verstappen such big odds today because that RedBull isn't capable anymore to win races because of the flexi wing rules that changed last week. Now, I can't see RedBull winning the next races and if that will be the case , I'm afraid 2024 won't be gentle to them as well.
I don't think it's just the flexi wings, it's with the track as well. Maybe they will show again what they are capable of in Japan.

Overall , Sainz drove perfectly today and a well deserved win for Ferrari. I feel bad for Russel but he really went all or nothing during the last lap...
Definitely a great win for him. It's definitely unfortunate for Russel with those missed points.

Did anybody noticed the front wing of Perez?

Carlos Sainz has a bad reputation in his previous race but right now he has managed to pull up in the last GP and right here in Singapore he has done it again but I think Charles Leclerc will not allow it this time,
