For sure they all know the track and what the history it has because being part of the F1 should be aware of the dangers with it. They all know it's a dangerous sport and should have those safety precautions with it.

I hope nothing bad happens on the weekend.

I am sure they all know the danger and even with those safety protocols you will still never know what may happen in every aspect of precaution they make there is still a chance a huge accident may occur it is like watching a final destination movie they never know what hit them, well there maybe unexpected things that could still happen an F1 Machine could still slide and skid the track,

But, just like you I also hope nothing bad happens this weekend,

Here was an update on the weather conditions at the Imola track for Tuesday:
"May 16 (Reuters) - Formula One personnel were asked to leave the Imola circuit on Tuesday amid fears of flooding as water levels rose in the nearby Santerno river following heavy rain ahead of the weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix."
source: https://www.reuters.com/sports/motor-sports/imola-paddock-closed-river-levels-rise-due-heavy-rain-2023-05-16

Even worse that F1 crews were told to stay away for the time being due to Santerno River adjacent to paddock may burst its banks:
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/may/17/emilia-romagna-grand-prix-teams-told-stay-away-imola-flood-alert

When the storm does subside, they would need enough time to clean up after the torrential rain.

Sad to say but because of the Storm and Flood the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix or Imola Circuit would need to call off, or they have decided not to proceed with the race, it was a very sad Decision but it is for the safety of all the drivers, and the personnel for the F1 so I think it is safe to say we will not have a race this weekend and Imola will need to be canceled and need to be called off,

Here are the links Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, and the Video

Dangerous Circuit and with the impending rain it even got worst now, I don't really want to get back to the time when there are 2 lives that were lost on this track, and it was said that when the 1st death occurred the circuit should have been close already, but yeah Imola Circuit still continues, and I think we should remember about Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna, in the modern day the Imola Circuit has gone in some modifications including the ultra-quick Tamburello corner where Senna crashed, I don't really want to relieve the sad memory but Driver should at least know where is the Tamburello Corner is located,

Imola definitely one of the dangerous ones, along with spa as well because spa definitely has some fast places, after the first corner at imola you become a lot more easier, but that first corner is the riskiest I can remember, specially risky when two cars get together there, it's very very risky to try an overtake there but as we all know drivers do not really care about risk and they just go for it if they see an open space.

I hope that there is not many crashes, it won't be as much as street circuits for sure, but it will be risky without a doubt. Max is by far the best candidate, we saw how he was better than Perez last race, and we are going to end up seeing him do great this time around as well, it will be something major without a doubt.

I just hope all drivers could surely memories those corners and how to handle them because if they do they can get to live more easily, I remembered in 2020 that Max Verstappen crashed because his tire blew and he didn't finish the race back then while the champion was Lewis Hamilton, but I think the Modification of the Machine's tires also is important with the impending when it rained on the Practice or race day it will be tremendously slippery for sure,

Made my selections early for the F1 pool for the forum that CLS63 is looking after and somebody on the thread did mention about it possibly being postponed due to the storm system being pretty severe.

Looks like we're going to have a rainy one this weekend.
Ah good...  Could make for an interesting race.  And Verstappen drives well under wet conditions and so does Alonso and somewhat Hamilton.  I guess we see these three on the podium come Sunday?
I just hope they don't postpone it, it's a really nasty situation rn in Emilia-Romagna.
Location for the F1 forum pool thread where this post is from can be seen here:

Had read the same in another website post earlier today inregards to the weather system not cooperating with the F1 scheduled race this weekend.
https://thesportsrush.com/f1-news-imola-gp-2023-weather-forecast-cancelation-rumors-strike-fear-among-fans-ahead-of-the-emilia-romagna-grand-prix

We will have to wait until it gets closer for race time inorder for an assessment to be announced.

As far as I can remember Imola track isn't one of the bests when it comes to comfortable overtakes. Moreover there will be a strong rain at the weekend as it seems and this can make the race extra difficult for the drivers. In that case I won't see any driver as a big favourite. Because we have already seen examples of Verstappen to have serious difficulties under such conditions before. There is no reason for not thinking about the probability of the same thing to happen as well.

To tell the truth I wouldn't refuse to watch some extra action thanks to rain. Verstappen shouldn't be very comfortable this time. Especially Perez has a big responsibility about this topic. Because he seems to be the only driver who can stay in the title race for a long time. This is a great start already.

Social media is 100% manipulative... but isn't Schumaker actually already awakened? And that's something I never like to follow in any sports, the personal lives. Anyway, fans like me like teams, rather than individuals, of course we appreciate different personalities even.

Some people like Ronaldo, hungry and alpha, some people love Messi, more quiet and modest, I'm sure 100% the same in F1. I like Schumacher types for sure, hungry and yet not over the top.

Pool has real cash prizes, but every week can win freebets, AND even sports merchandise. Also winners go to real sports games with the casino in real life, I was invited once but I cannot travel but many forum people have already won Smiley

Well, I think the Schumacher family wants it private but Willi Weber the former manager of Michael Schumacher accuses the Schumacher Family of lying for not enclosing the facts if Michael Schumacher is still OK so yeah Willi Weber wants the truth to be out but I think he wants to know the truth for himself, for me, Weber just needs to respect what the family Schumacher wants and this is really their rights in doing so, in not giving any facts about Michael Shumachers real condition,

You are right many people want a taste of information on somebody that they surely like and Willi Weber wants to know the truth, about Michael but he is out of authority in knowing the truth from the family and if the family doesn't want him  to know the truth, maybe the family does have a good reason and they surely know what Weber real intention might be,

I really don't know what I am going to do with F1 pool, and how to play but will look and learn about it, and just like you I never travel outside my country ever,

Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is definitely a dangerous one for the drivers after watching that video posted earlier.
Haven't watched those F1 races as I only began watching a complete race in 2020.

Max Verstappen is of course the favorite to win and take fastest lap according to the latest odds on the site.
1.39x and 1.72x respectively.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/formula-1/formula-1/emilia-romagna-grand-prix-2023-race/emilia-romagna-grand-prix-2023-race-645850ee29195432b521d3e0

That 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was really a headache for some drivers and back then Max Verstappen did not finish the race at all, Lewis Hamilton becomes the champion of the grand prix, 2020 and Valtteri Bottas was 2nd and Daniel Ricciardo landed the 3rd, position,

While on the start of the race, Max Verstappen was in 3rd place, and he got a lead to Valtteri Botta's position but suddenly his tire explodes for him to crash truly there are many drivers and cars that are retiring and crashing without any warning surely Imola Circuit might be the most dangerous Circuit there is any thing can surely happen,

He sort of is, he is paralyzed so he can't move, but he is aware of what's going on and can respond with mimics and such, still can't speak as far as I am aware but I am not 100% sure about that. I think he is better than the early days and at home and basically just laying there all day, we know that much, and they have TV open for him to watch as well, but at least we know he is not fully gone, that much is guaranteed.

However, this isn't an illness that can go away anytime soon, I fear that he will live rest of his life (however long he has left) this way, and then pass away, and I am afraid we will never see him again. That seems like the most possible scenario, him walking or wheelchaired into any race in the future doesn't seem like a possibility anymore.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about, I don't like to follow people's personal lives. Even the football athletes I follow for 20 years until today I don't even know their wive's names or if they have kids or even where they live. Not my interest and I prefer they have personal lives, I don't need to know about it. I think they also prefer this.

It's different with other fans of course Smiley I care about Schumacher but if the family wants a private life, it is their right, I don't want to know more than that! Smiley

I think the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix is one of the worst tragedies that ever occur in F1 history and it was named the Imola cursed weekend Rubens Barichello crashed but luckily survive with a broken nose, but Roland Ratzenberger and the 3-time champion Ayrton Senna were both unfortunate with their gained injuries, Ayrton Senna was one of the notable racers in the F1 1988, 1990, and 1991 champion, until Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost got their shot on the title for 1992 and 1993 until the 1994 tragedy happens and Michael Schumacher was born as a champion in the 1994 F1 San Marino Grand Prix, and that tragedy was never going to be forgotten because of the casualties when Michael Schumacher becomes champion,

After seeing that video from the previous Imola Circuit in 1994 I was really shocked and goosebumps were all over me from just watching it, and thinking about those drivers that suffers a crash on that particular day, Michael Schumacher was pretty much lucky, and from that day he becomes champion I think this is the 1st Michael Schumacher got his championship and the rest are history, and I surely agree that this is one of the worst F1 race in history that got 2 deaths and 3 collisions in just 1 series,

Well, I need to add up that the Imola 1994 was history how I wish that the curse was lifted up and that tragic accidents would not happen again, and As I have noticed the barrier were now replaced with soft rubbery so cars would just bounce back to it and not crash into the barrier and likely catch fire, well i am still praying that nothing like that would likely happen,

Brad Pitt situation is a bit difficult situation because you can't really "fake" driving an F1 car, it is just not possible. You can CGI whatever you want into it, there is nothing wrong with that, they make aliens fight predators, I am sure they can make Brad Pitt drive a car, that's not the point. However, anyone who watches F1 for real, which I am sure will watch this movie as well, could tell apart the difference between really driving and movie driving.

Like even in most situations of racing in movies, we can tell it apart already, I would give FF series as example but they became superhero movies after a while so it is not really shocking. All in all I would just guess that it is going to end up with nothing too serious, sort of like Christ Hemsworth movie, more about out of race and not during the race, just a small period of racing involved in all of the movie I suppose.

Well seeing the news Brad Pitt is really driving a car but not an F1 but an F2 model closer to an F1 it is likely a much slower version of the F1 version but still actors got to ride on a real thing at least they can and knowing the director of Ton Gun he will surely get his actors to do the real deal so for sure fans of the F1 if they watch the movie they can still feel and see that the actors are surely driving a real thing,

Well, social media is kind of manipulative in some cases and just ignoring some will surely not harm your knowledge with the F1 but you got to truly find the real ones to you can ignore the news, I am more into history, and digging up what has happened to certain drivers like what has happened to Michael Schumacher that I think he is in a vegetative state right now and his family don't want to let Schumacher be out of the public,

While Leclerc is kind of the silent guy and always kind of a supportive teammate to Carlos Sainz, throughout his career I think fans want an Identity of their own and be very hungry in being on the top,

Well will look further into that pool for now I think and the price is in free bets? I will think about it 1st,

2) Haas Boss Guenther Steiner tells F1 fans to be patient: ' There will be a fight!' he added that fans should not jump to the conclusion that Red Bull will have an easy season well, Guenther really is promising a more competitive F1 race not just a 1 sided race were 1 team will always dominate the podium just because of their RB19 and Fans should have for Haas team and they will see Kevin Magnussen and Niko Hulkenburg in the podium anytime soon,

https://f1i.com/news/474225-steiner-tells-f1-fans-to-be-patient-there-will-be-a-fight.html
I do hope that there will be a fight soon. The Red Bull car is definitely OP and it's going to be always them at front. Since there are still races left in the season, I hope there's something that can be done with that and have a fight.

Do you guys think that Haas will be able to do that? I remember them being able to be in P4 in the recent GP and maybe they could have that chance once they are more consistent with the results. Who knows? Huh

If they can discover why the RB19 Machines are so much fast than other machines then there could be a possibility that the other teams may get something from watching the RB19 machines in action this will surely take time and the time might be right now, as Haas has said and Mercedes as well as they promise in their initial interview let's just hope they have already got a solution in getting a machine that could eventually defeated the Red Bull machines,

And right now Aston Martin is targeting to be winners in the following series of the F1 races but can they get there until the time runs out for Fernando Alonso, we all know that some teams are preparing their F1 machines for the upcoming Series here are the new on Aston Martin, https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.barretto-aston-martin-look-on-course-to-become-winners-but-can-they-get.2RDejhsGpe1aZdRGGfQQ6A.html

I kind of agree. F1 is not like football because in the end it's the car, and the driver, but the history seems to be replaced more and more these days with social media nonsense. I mean, I get it, we have to be modern and follow what the fans follow, but I feel like if I turn on football I can still see mainly news and tactics and stuff. Same with tennis.

But if I look up F1 or MMA, first thing I see is nonsense posts lol or maybe Google is being biased anyway.

Leclerc is bitter pill for any supporter, and so far I'm glad I followed the "history" of this season as in past results. I will keep doing so for a while as it works well for me.

Yes please play in the pool Smiley I'm "top" there now, enjoy while it lasts lol

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sportsbetio-formula-1-2023-seasonprediction-pool-discussion-thread-5441078

Well, there are still some tactics and stuff with the F1 Races, and that will surely be brought up to the driver and if that driver is pretty much well verse with the Circuit but Soccer, MMA, and F1 are pretty much not the same, and pretty much do not have the same technique or tactics that have been used,

RB19 right now is a dominating force but if Haas and Mercedes would do something about the upgrade then maybe there will be a change or a slight change in their performance I think we just need to look further and wait for the next round this week to start, for sure we can  see it by practice run,

Well, because we will not have any races this week and we need to wait for next week to watch another action,

Here is some news on what is happening to the F1 right now
