It was bad enough for New York to cancel their baseball game early in the week at Yankee's stadium and at Toronto to close their dome inorder to play their baseball match a few days ago.
But it has gotten better now. So hopefully the weather stays just the way it is and the winds don't blow it back in that direction.
Weekend without an F1 race is pretty boring. Cheesy

I really want to believe that and now my hopes are getting higher now, there are certain events that get canceled baseball, and basketball, but F1 is one exciting event that I really don't want to be canceled anymore, not like the Imola GP, I hope and I pray that the wind will not get blown again to such event because there is 1 event in the F1 that gets canceled already and because we only got a limited race in the calendar we can not afford to lose another one in the process, and many don't really prefer racing in a Simulation race and let the Sim Race be a substitute for the real deal because it can not it always has the thrill in the real deal races that doesn't have in the Sim Races,

I would do something like this yes a side tournament but of course I think none of the engineering wants this, or all the drivers might learn something else, but personally if I owned a racing team I would allow this. Proof that my driver is good, or proof my engine is the booty Wink

Or a separate tournament where all drivers use different cars for different races, or same car different drivers. Maybe time for a Fantasy F1 Wink

Actually, I more than agree with you and a tournament where a driver or racer gets to choose his own machine could be a good alternative for just using the machine with the teams I really like that idea, a What If? the situation where we could see different drivers, Drivin a different machine would be a great idea indeed,

or yeah a separate tournament exhibition race if they can call it when Drivers will scramble to pick a random number whoever gets to choose number 1 will pick his machine 1st, from the list of Alfa Romero, Aston Martin, McLaren, Williams, AlphaTauri, Ferrari, Mercedes, Alpine, Haas, and Red Bull, I think that is an exciting match, for sure,

With the smoke covering the North-eastern US major cities reported near the fires from Quebec is where the next GP is going to held 9 days from now.
The track Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is on the outskits of Montreal (built on the St. Lawrence river) so hopefully not in the near vicinity of where these hotspots were reported earlier today.

It is a total bummer if the race next week gets canceled because of the smoke pollution and the wildfire in Canada, As of now and right now as I have seen in the news it is just getting worst and worst here are the video news https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FupceVEtY28 the Canadian skies are turning orange in coloration due to smoke pollutants in the air, if this continues then all outside events will likely be canceled, this is a very very sad news and right now I don't really want to post the next schedule because I would likely want to see if the Canada GP will still continue or not,

After seeing the video, I now want to see all of the machines underneath and mostly want to see the Ferraris lower section, for further analysis of the Machine and to greatly understands it, I think the RB19 and the W14 were exposed because of these images and with this videos maybe the other teams will likely be making a sudden chance underneath their car aswell, and some teams are eyeing this video for reference on the underneath the car for both teams,

Right! I really want to see it aswell but likely these photos might not really be available publicly it was leaked on the internet and is spreading like wildfire, and likely because of that some explained the unlikely build for RB19 and W14 floor underneath, and it was a dream come true for some engineers on the other team to see something like this and they likely want their hands on the much-awaited reveal,

But that is a good idea you are suggesting why not let Leclerc drive RB19 or Max Verstappen drive the SF-23 for a change so we can see if the car could  likely change the Driver's perspective on racing or if Max Verstappen could still finish in the 1st place, Well just for a change,

Well, I agree with you that if the other team's car can be overhauled by the likings of the RB19 or the Mercedes cars the W14 right now maybe there might be a chance for the other teams why not all cars will be the same, and if that happens there is no such thing needed for an Engineering to help with the car,

Yes! Because of the wildfires in Canada air pollution is pretty much everywhere in the Canadian vicinity, and now outside events are being canceled in most places in the area of Canada, like the WNBA, recently Barclay Stadium the games between the Las Vegas Liberty VS Minnesota Lynx, but let's wait if this air pollution subsides maybe we can get a good F1 race next week.

Pretty sure they got that idea through ‘engineering breakthroughs’ Grin

I’m hoping that Ferrari get off the high horse and at least ‘get an inspiration’ to the leaders of the current season and get better placements. It’s really boring to know that no one comes close to RBR albeit the Mercedes team doing some improvements on the car’s body. It’s not Verstappen’s driving that’s causing them to get wons after wins. It’s more of the car and him placing comfortably during the start of the race.

I surely hope aswell that the Ferrari would have a breakthrough with their machines and get a podium for the next race, but I am surely doubting that fact, right now the SF-23 has gotten its latest upgrades, and just like the RB19 and W14 hope that the SF-23 will likely Model their Machine just like the two, but right now SF-23 has a long way to take for that to happen,

Well, for me not in the car performance alone but the driver's technique and skills that he is the champion just like you it hurts me to watch other than the Ferrari boys other teams now making a podium while Charles Leclerc manages to get 1, well like I said it is not in the machine alone, I think Max Verstappen has proven from time to time that he is the number 1 right now well Sergio Perez also got the same chassis as Verstappen but why he end up making mistakes I think Verstappen really has something special for him to dominate in every race,

There could be a very similar approach in the copy of the RB19 and the W14 there could be similar but there is still a difference in the sense the design is pretty much unique to each team, and not just the side and the bulk wings of the car but the underneath of the car aswell and because we don't really see the underneath of the car for each team it is really a big mystery for some fan what is the look underneath, the pattern underneath and the way the airflow on the F1 floor but we got a glimpse of those F1 floors because the way they salvage the F1 when it crashes they lifted the cars up and some have taken a photo of the underneath of the RB19 or Sergio Perez on his latest crash and the underneath of the W14 aswell, here is the video explanation, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbddt51Cfg0

To be fair Red bull has such a fast car that Max could have driven the car with one hand and he would have still won, the difference is just unrealistic at this point and that is why I do not think that it will change anytime soon. However, the other teams could have raced against each other and they could have fought for that second position. Right now, I see 3 different teams fighting for one spot, and not all doing very well.

Aston Martin, Mercedes and Ferrari all could be considered second best car right now, AM started the best obviously and Ferrari started the worst, but the season is long and we still have 10+ more races to go and that means any bad team could recover from there. Mclaren showed some glares of improving as well, hope to see them in top 10 discussions back again soon.

For me, I think it is not just about the car or the RB19 itself it is purely about the genius driving work of Max Verstappen if you will say that it is on the car alone Sergio Perez is likely committing so many errors since Monaco GP, and they are using the same RB19 machine, for me it is pure Verstappen skill and technique,

But surely the 2nd place is likely a random for the other teams Aston Martin, Ferrari, and the likely favorite so far Mercedes,

I would normally say that, but that then doesn't explain why both drivers don't just finish 1st and 2nd all the time right?

And I know I am not such a knowledgeable person in this sports but I have a feeling Leclerc wouldn't even dare bet on himself driving Max's car and get pole, let alone win all the time.

I do agree that it doesn't make sense anymore to keep hoping for Ferrari to finish on podium until either the car difference is reduced or their drivers show some crazy form. Let us see.

I wasn't able to watch the race live, and happy to see the places of Mercedes. Mercedes will be able to continue with that results with all the upgrades that they have done. It bore results for their hard work. I do hope that they find that missing piece so they will be able to compete with the RB.

Maybe Ferrari would be able to recover. It's still a long time before the season ends.

Everything for Ferrari rests on Sainz now!
Sainz in P2 is special for the fans in Spain.
Surprising this is the first time Max has taken pole position in the Spanish Grand Prix.
Gasly had penalties for blocking two drivers during qualifying so that moved Norris and Hamilton up on the grid.
Funny to see all the team's high on the leaderboard (Red Bull, Mercedes & Ferrari) have their wingmen in the bottom 10.

According to the weather forecast it is a mixed bag with clouds rolling in and from the screens they just showed the track is sunny yet you can see rather dark clouds on the horizon. So we just might see wet conditions near the end of the race.
Yeah special means nothing this season. Monaco, now Catalunya, favorite drivers or whatever, you not only can't beat Verstappen, you fail to live up to even be a challenge.

Hamilton can definitely thank Gasly for that inspirational block but lol indeed second guy in teams must all be feeling pretty useless after this race.
Can't keep seeing the overtake Fernando had on Esteban near the end of the race where he nearly crashed into him.
Ocon was blocking Alonso from doing the move but luckily nando has the quick reflexes that he does so to not have that collision occur would of been a very bad crash. As you can see below the Aston Martin had to go off the track inorder to avoid him.

Fernando Alonso & Esteban Ocon Incident Analysis | F1 Spanish GP 2023
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjQMQT_aiYI

Ocon mentions about it just abit in his post race interview and Alonso didn't see it as aggressive driving causing a crash.
Fernando Alonso Post Race F1 Interview In Spain
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfTcM8VEcG8

Yuki Tsunoda was in 9th place for the final lap but having that 5 second penalty against Zhou Guanyu pushing him off cost him 2 places and moved up Zhou and Gasly into point placers on the results table.

It is embarrassing how strong RBR is.
Mercedes got the version 2 of the car, looks like a Redbull.

Just copying their geometry has increased their performance with an easy second and third spot.

When Ferrari will copy RBR too?

If you can't beat them, join them.

F1 News

In the F1 news that I have seen and think that many Mercedes fans would like to hear is the Contract talks between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, and the fresh contract of Mercedes will be updated on Monday meeting with Wolff, well, I think after the two Mercedes have made it to the Podium this Spanish GP Mercedes has likely seen the potential of both drivers but likely on Lewis Hamilton and Hamilton aswell have seen that the team is very very hungry in what they have set in a record in Spain, so Mercedes would surely want more of that, here is the Article https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.hamilton-offers-fresh-mercedes-contract-update-as-he-prepares-for-monday.7wOeN0VdiVYb5wPA6jg9GO.html

And Sergio Perez is now reflecting on his mistakes and not taking the podium, he said that it was pretty much hard to move past Fernando Alonso it was trickier than he has thought and he really had to do Alonso's pace, and even though he managed to get past Alonso the 2 Mercedes was there to get him into the 4th pole for the Spain GP, here is the article https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.it-is-what-it-is-perez-rues-costly-qualifying-display-in-spain-but-aims-to.6D3tnM3dW1sK4UCDOaUtsE.html

Boring, another pole for Verstappen, so I don't see him losing this one. What sort of surprised me more is Sainz taking second place on starting grid, and Leclerc having a tough fight from the near bottom. And of course we were talking about Stroll, now he is looking in a good position (but still don't trust him to take points).

Everything for Ferrari rests on Sainz now!

Not a surprising performance for Max Verstappen to take another win in the race, Carlos Sainz must be on the 2nd pole but eventually the other driver keeps on passing them it was a frustrating sight for them and what surprises me is for both Mercedes getting into the podium and taking the 2nd and 3rd position, those upgrades really improve their cars,

Hamilton is likely to see podium in this race, mercedes has good straight speed and top 3 is not impossible for Hamilton. I think that checo will push the top 3 by relying on the car a bit below it, but now I can't trust checo because of what they've done for 2 races, this man was planning to chase the world championship. Verstappen will probably finish first if there is no problem. As for sainz, there is a lot of stress when there is someone behind him, especially if they fight with hamilton, hamilton eats raw sainz, it doesn't give any confidence. I hope grandpa alonso sees the podium again. Another race that will be very unpleasant and boring as it has been since the beginning of the season.

And Lewis Hamilton eats Carlos Sainz Raw again, actually, both George Russell and Hamilton eat the Ferrari even, and even outraced Sergio Perez Straight into Podium for the Mercedes, it is quite surprising for them to get the podium right now here in the Podium videos,

Race Highlights | 2023 Spanish Grand Prix - VIDEO

At the beginning of the race, Lando Norris has broken up his front wings and actually, this is one great race because there is no one that got into an accident so for me it is a very great sign for that to happen, and lap 26 when Red Bull Max Verstappen is stopping into the pits, changing into Hard tires, and in lap 38 I was really surprised with both Mercedes to landed both on the 2nd position and the 3rd position and taken the seat of Sergio Perez, those upgrades for Mercedes that they made really is worth it, while Lap 52 was an action when Fernando Alonzo pass right into Esteban Ocon, it was an incredible move, Yuki Tsunoda has given a penalty by forcing Zhou Guanyu off the road, but I think it is not Yuki's fault at all, and surely Max Verstappen won again Lewis Hamilton will get onto the Podium by getting the 2nd place and George Russell is sharing the podium with Max and his teammate in the 3rd place,

I think in Ferrari and in Aston Martin are gonna be really concerned about Mercdes performances, because if Mercedes really step up in this early..... they are gonna catch the second position in constructors easily.

Aston Martin main problem about this its.... Lance Stroll he its not being capable of score points, when Alonso its a mchine with this car.
Ferrari in the other side have much more problems, the car as always doesnt end to be the faster they need.
