Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?

I don't believe that Facebook is against on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. They just want to protect their users from scams, fraud and bogus ICOs that are been using their advertising platform.
People are getting scammed because fake ICOs are using Facebook to advertise and promote their bogus ICOs and get more money from their victims.

I cant really see an harm on cryptocurrency about banning of ICO on Facebook. The real ICO project just need to work their ass to advertise their ICO in other way. Now we can see whos project is really dedicated to sell their coin without Ads on FB.
Indeed, there is no harm from this event. There are more convenient platforms for advertising new projects, for example this forum. )))  Wink

This policy of Facebook banning the advertising of bitcoin and ICO advertisement has been running around for almost two months now. I don't think the banning is effective because i could see a lot of ICO advertisements on my Facebook account.

How facebook impose this kinds of regulations? I saw some bounty campaign has facebook bounty and they needs to share and likes the post regarding the projects, in that way how facebook impose this policy?

If facebook ban any advertisement  about digital currency, facebook must publish their policy about that matter for the awareness of all facebook user.

Facebook is against bitcoin as it has blocked all content for bitcoin ads, There may be a lot of reasons for that one of those reasons would be the number of fraudulent activities getting people involved in this business and most of the scam ICO purchase Facebook advertising and many newbies see those advertising and invest money in those scam ICOs and get scammed I think this is the reason facebook block these ads so please get saved from getting scammed again and again.

Facebook doesn't fight against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Facebook just fights against scam ICO projects is advertising on their social that why weeks ago nobody can share anything related to cryptocurrency on Facebook because they were finding and removing all scam project on their social. But for now everything is fine and we can share anything related to cryptocurrency and Bitcoin on Facebook as usual. As I know Facebook is going to create their own cryptocurrency so I think there are no way that Facebook will fight against Bitcoin. LOL

I think Facebook is within its rights. I support the decision they have made, because I see Facebook a lot more personal service, than Twitter for example.

I think that soon Facebook will resume interaction with the crypto world. Previously, it was very convenient to promote the ICO project in this social network. Now there are other convenient social networks.

You just answered it yourself, it is to avoid scamming or fraud using their platform. There's a lot of scams out there that uses crypto-currency to lure people, Facebook noticed it and they made some actions to prevent it.
Facebook is not against crypto-currency per se. They just want to make their subscribers safe from any kind of harm as much as possible.

Considering the amount of underaged users on facebook, I doubt the reward gained from crypto ads is worth the possible damage a shitstorm could wreak after a few innocent kids fell for some fraudulent promotion and lost all of their money.

I don’t think Facebook is against bitcoin. There are too many scam advertisements about crypto, Facebook is just trying to protect the Facebook users.

I think it is really for the good of the members of facebook since we cannot decipher which is legal and which is not. People can be easily swayed by this. Then once their money is gone then the ICO will disappear. Not good for facebook reputation.

Facebook's ban on ICO-related advertising is due to the fact that many of the ICO project lending models and ponzi are advertising on Facebook for malicious purposes, involving people investing and deceiving. Most of the potential ICO projects are promoting on Facebook as social bounty campaigns, not using the Facebook advertising platform Smiley))
all of us want to be in safe place even in web.
But I'm not sure peoples tweet/post  (even bounty) can destroy FB serenity Smiley
