The company Facebook has updated the rules for placing materials, now it is forbidden to advertise crypto-currencies and ICO on the expanses of the service. This prohibition applies to Instagram as well.

I heard this news, but so far no problems have arisen. Maybe because my account is already 8 years old. Or maybe because I try not to do all the bounty at once.

On the other hand, and before this news I saw complaints, from members of the forum, on facebook.

I never seen for FB or Instagram do ban advertising btc or ICOs. Yeah, if it is objectionable advertisements of ICO companies, maybe post can be deleted by FB. If the advertisement is given correctly, then this will not be a problem i think.

The company Facebook has updated the rules for placing materials, now it is forbidden to advertise crypto-currencies and ICO on the expanses of the service. This prohibition applies to Instagram as well.

The official message of the company says that now no advertiser, including even legal companies, will be able to advertise Bitcoins and other crypto-currencies, as well as offers to purchase tokens within ICO or binary options.

All of the above Facebook calls financial products and services that mislead users. Facebook specialists gave examples of such advertising:

"Start trading binary options right now and get a 10-year trade guarantee without risk."
"Click here to learn more about the risk-free crypto currency, which allows you to make instant transfers around the world."
"The new ICO! Buy tokens at a 15% discount right now! "
"Use your retirement savings to invest in Bitcoin."
In the message of the director of product management in Facebook, Rob Leuven said about the reason for imposing a ban on such advertising: "We want users to be able to learn about new products and services from advertising on Facebook, without fear of fraud or deception. Nevertheless, there are many unscrupulous companies advertising binary options, ICO and crypto-currencies. "

There will always be the way. If social networks ban those things some guy will make his own site popular for promoting all that stuff.
We already have a few that are very good and useful.

Facebook is far from being a pioneer in its noble desire to protect unintelligent users from "incorrect" advertising, because it's almost a year since Russian Yandex has been stubbornly fighting the penetration of advertising crypto-currency transactions into the contextual network of Direct. Only Yandex, went further, banning, according to the author's observations, advertising farms, ASIC-miners (specialized devices for the production of crypto-currency) and data centers necessary for their placement.

It turns out that they do not block all pages in a row, where there is any mention of crypt, blockade and the like. They delete messages in which there is a direct offer to go through the link and buy tokens with a bonus. This is tolerable.

as you probably remember, "cuckberg" is interested in releasing his own currency, so he's cutting any cometition out.

Facebook used to be the darling of social media from being in the forefront of what the rest of its competitors are doing.

In recent years, its popularity is waning. The younger generation no longer use facebook.

So there's little impact of Facebook banning ICOs ads. The "older" gen are unlikely to understand these stuffs anyway.

It looks like this is the right decision as more and more ads on social media will only cause social media becomes untidy and less attractive to be opened, even though his ads about something nice however if too much then not too effective.

I think there will be many people who do not agree with the existence of crypto advertising advertisers on facebook, because many people and countries who use facebook to advertise a product.

And like Facebook wanted to release their cryptocurrency, but probably after the first to announce the establishment of their own,Zuckerberg desire diminished and he decided this way to Express his contentment.

Yeah, that was the first I've thought about when read the news. Actually it seems like it's just a one more part of making news contest to bring the market lower and lower
