Like it or not, cryptomarket is a real far west. There is no control or clear rules, the possibility to make big money is high, then it is not surprising that it has become a hunting space for all types of scammers.
So, in the meanwhile the situations will became more clear, it seems normal to me that governments and big structure as facebook have taken measures to protect people from dishonest and deceptive proposals.

a lot of ICOs pop out everyday and a lot of them are scam but there are still some good ICOs. facebook ban this scam ICOs is good but it also affected the good ICOs. good ICOs are small in numbers compared to scam ICOs that counted hundreds or more.

I'm completely fine with banning ICOs. But I really don't like they had to ban all cryptocurrencies too. I can see that it's sometimes perhaps hard to seperate ICOs from other cryptocurrencies. Most of the times you could say an ICO is just another cryptocurrency and Facebook is trying to avoid discussions about not treating cryptos "unfair".
So as bad as it sounds it was a logical step.

I didnt see this coming and I am actually shocked that Facebook has done such thing. I have read some articles about this news. Facebook has banned ICO and cryptocurrency paid-ads only. Facebook banned it to protect its users from scam, because recently there are so many scammed ICOs. Facebook is just being protective but this will never stop us from promoting ICOs. Only the paid ads are banned but we can still repost, comment, like and share. This would not affect the crypto world hence it will have a minor impact on facebook. Facebook users will SLIGHLTY decrease. Even though facebook banned crypto ads, there are still sites like twitter, telegram and many more.

Do you agree that facebook banned all that promote ico's and bitcoin?
i think its depending on the promote show
if the promote in the ico group i think its fine
but if show in another group (in this case game group) its not good
because the promote didnt show in right place

Facebook must investigate or check first the ICOs advertisment on their website to limit the occurence of scam ICOs. These scam ICOs actually ruined the cryptoworld and gave a bad name to cryptocurrencies. If facebook will totally banned all crypto ads, then it would be a disaster to bounty hunters. I hope facebook will just screened those legit and not.

Facebook baning ico campaign is good because we don't see any scam icos running in our Facebook news feed but in another end we need decentralized social networking where  no one ban

I really don't know why they banned promotion about icos well in fact they are getting money from the sponsored ads related to bitcoin, idk what's wrong with cryptocurrency and for me I don't think that there is wrong with this industry. Even though facebook banned all about cryptos through their sites I do believe that there are more sites that are very user friendly and has many interactors and one of them is Twitter, twitter is the best when it comes to promoting ICO's project and I think the move of facebook banning crypto ads will never affect the flow of the different coins in the market.

Practically speaking for my opinion the banning of Facebook ICO campaign intended and filtered for those ICO scam because Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg eliminated all scam blogs or advertisement this action is not new for facebook users and if the FB management receive a scam reports they will do an action for this and we are very lucky that as FB ICO campaigner we benefited the banning imposed.

I think not all ico promotional media will be banned, maybe that will be prohibited in violation of law with the aim of reducing the occurrence of scam on ICO who do promotions in the media such as facebook.
if its ico legit may not be a problem and still allowed to use facebook as a means of promotion.

The correct decision facbook just baneed paid add . I think this is temporary. This prohibition is promoted by Scam ICOs.
yes, Because an ad on Facebook a lot of fools are exposed to the scam trap ico Telegram (TON).
However, not all crypto currency ads on Facebook are a scam, some even get Hardcap on their ico because of the platform.

I would disagree of banning ICO being advertised on FB because i don't think that will ever stop ICO scams. Though facebook is the social media with the largest registered users, there are also other social media to choose from like twitter, instagram, reddit, pinterest, vine, tumblr and many more.

a big impact to bitcoin price I think will happen hahaha, we all know facebook a social media app that influences most of all people
imagine how many people will see if the facebook will be no longer or ban any ICO ads and promoting etc. maybe a new challenge bitcoin will face it.
but I don't see it is a bad side instead they uses each other hehehe. investors will reduce and price also

actually I strongly disagree with the ban on ico ads on facebook, because almost everyone has a facebook account, then this will reduce the number of investors who know ico from facebook

I agree with the removal of ico ads through facebook, maybe the founder and the facebook want to tidy up his social network with the number of these ads on their homepage, thus making users more comfortable

Sorry but I found this to be a good idea. The facebook campaign is not too effective for the project. I feel the signature campaign will be great for the project we are working on.
Most people take part in the bitcointalk forum to look at the project. Although facebook is a great social networking site, but with ad sharing on the project is not useful. People around me saw these posts, they all flickered and it was scam. That is my opinion.

Yes I agree with this guy, Bitcointalk signature campaign is very effective they are all legit ICO, Scam ICO are going to make advertisement on social media sites that why facebook keeps banning some ICO's related crypto

I dont agree since it is one of the source of bounty where i earn free coins and  use for trading maybe facebook could filter some ads that keep pop up in facebook page that promote crypto currency ICO.
